I just moved to Lewes. Mom recommended this diner and I absolutely loved it!!!!! The food was great, our server was fantastic I loved it is my new GO TO!!!!!
Definitely will go back food and service was amazing and the adults had mimosas so they brought the kids "mimosas" they absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back
Server was very friendly and food came out quickly and properly done. The prices are very reasonable.
The decor and feel of the place is dated and cramped.
The cashier was an older gentleman, not sure if he is the owner or not. He was very unfriendly and barely spoke a word. Didn't say thank you, just handed me my receipt. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

The shrimp basket was plentiful. Usually you get a few shrimp and mainly fries to fill you up. Not the case with this place. Very good and the server was very nice.
Wanted something different came here first time here from the service to the food it's amazing got seated right away my waitress came over right away took my drink order gave me a few minutes to decide what I would like to eat got the roasted turkey mini meal comes with a soup or salad n and extra side it came out real fast it's was so good everything was fresh and hot n right on point will definitely be coming back again
I've been going here for years but every time I have come back it keeps getting worse and worse. Today was the final straw - I had to add my own ice to the iced coffee? And it was really bitter and not well roasted. I used to love this shop, but maybe I've outgrown it now that better options are in the area.
Adorable coffee shop with character. Delicious bakery items they even have a few items gluten free which are very tasty & the breakfast sandwiches are delicious & made fresh. Coffee is delicious, friendly service, can also get grounded coffee to go so you can make your own at home. Definitely a place to stop by.
Cute breakfast and lunch joint with indoor and outdoor seating although I think outdoor was closed when we visited. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious. I ordered the French toast with fruit and granola and it
was huge. I only ate half. My husband enjoyed his western omelette also big.

Super fresh and delicious food! Very open and bright place. I will say the coffee while not bad wasn’t as strong as I usually like it, I also drink straight expresso so I’m the problem not the coffee 🤣. There’s also amazing views of the garden outside if you get a window seat
Such a cute little breakfast place! Their croissants are flakey and buttery, which makes them the perfect option for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Pair this with their Hot Caramel Creme for a touch a sweetness 🤤
Very good little breakfast spot! It was crowded at 11:45AM the day I went but it was good food! We enjoyed it!
I came in coffee shop with a good mood and left it with a bad because coffee was burned. I gave 1 star for the croissants
We went to a new location in Rehoboth. We asked for: banana French toast, eggcellentc omelete and yourgut parfait. The food was delicious . Big portions, beautiful presentation, fresh. We really love the breakfast .Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful place.
My boyfriend and I just ate at the Rehoboth location and it was spectacular! I loved the interior design, and the staff was very attentive and sweet. I got the lox benedict and it was so delicious and the poached eggs were perfectly done! My bf got the new york omelette and the portobello mushrooms were amazing on top. We will definitely eat here again during our next visit!
A busy place hidden behind the main road, this place has a nice looking menu. I think if we sat inside, we would have been happier, but we were outside by a fence by the dumpster and surrounded by flies the whole time. For the price and quality of the food, it really wasn't worth it. The onion rings were the best thing we had.
Highly recommend. Came here for brunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Ordered the Summer Berry French Toast and I have to say… it may be the best French toast I have EVER had. Everything about it worked together perfectly - and I couldn’t tell where the egg stopped and where the bread began. My boyfriend got the shrimp omelette which was good, but do yourself a favor and get the French toast!!!
RECOMMEND ARRIVING AT OPENING TO BEAT THE CROWDS AS PLACE FILLS UP QUICK.$. With a cozy and earthy feel this cafe gives you a casual wake up and grounds you in more than just coffee (pun intended). Though the coffee was on par and strong! (I recommend their cafe con leche) I gave eggcellent a 3 star as the prices were focused higher than expected and dishes were underwhelming in presentation that made me feel like I was eating traditional diner food than unique southern cafe flair. Family owned and operated the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a semi quick bite for breakfast or lunch.
Staff was super great! Service quick and food good. Everything is priced fair and a good quality when it comes out. Restaurant is clean. I would recommend the scrapple fries. Easy to access and greeted right away.
It’s like enjoying a cup of coffee inside a roasting facility minutes after the beans were roasted! True coffee connoisseurs will appreciate this scenario: sipping on a cup of coffee, while sitting next to bags of green beans, beside the large roaster, with the lingering smell of the last roast, sets the stage for a very authentic experience.
The “old-town” look adds to the charm. They stock a good variety of coffee-based drinks as well as bags for sale. Oh, yes, I almost forgot 🙄…they sell a variety of teas. The pastries are totally decadent…I absolutely devoured the huge spinach-feta croissant!

I got the mocha mint coffee and it was the perfect amount of mint, not really strong! The sticky bun is delicious! They have hundreds of different coffees from all over the world and in many infused aromas! Also plenty of tea to choose from! Love the coffee bean bags in the decor ! Lovely staff as well!
Winter hours may vary, Lunch is served at 11 am with breakfast all day. Fairly priced American Diner style fare. Would recommend anyone looking for a traditional cheap sit down breakfast. Although the atmosphere could use some improved aesthetics the staff was extremely friendly and always left a fresh pot of coffee on the table (which is always a plus in my book). Lighting was good and noise was decent with some music playing from a TV in the back. No major call outs beyond one of few places that serve scrapple.
Word is spreading about this excellent coffee spot. Their home-roasted coffee beans have a rich and smoky flavor, which I find ideal. If you can secure a seat inside, it's delightful to sip your coffee surrounded by unroasted beans. If not, there are a few tables outside where you can enjoy the scenic downtown Lewis area.
The food was good but the service was magnificent I would definitely recommend this place to stop by and get a bite to eat the waitress was amazing she could not have been more on her game. We do appreciate all she had done
I come here pretty often and everytime the staff is always very nice and helpful. They have a great coffee selection and plenty of different drink options. Wish they have a more clear drink menu though. You're able to buy the burlap sacks in the front of the store which is awesome. They have nice pasties as well.
