We loved this place so much we literally went every single day the week we were vacating, sometimes twice a day! I was obsessed with the blueberries and they always gave me extra. The acai bowl was SO fresh and delicious!!! There's tons of toppings you can add on. And the people were so friendly! Would highly recommend!
Amazingly decadent waffles with great toppings and syrups. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere feels very local and authentic. The prices are very reasonable too!
Upon walking in the restraunt smelled like a dirty diaper. After waiting to be seated, because the server was out side on the phone, a kitchen worker walked out and said it was a 15 minute wait; there were only 3 tables seated. Even if there was only one cook, why could we not be seated and told that the kitchen was a bit slow tonight. But if the cook can't handle 8 people's orders over s spread out time, maybe the store should be better managed. No more IHOP for me.
We're visiting for the week and decided to have breakfast here with our kids as a special treat. It's about a half mile walk from our hotel and it was already pretty busy when we got there around 8:45am. There was a bit of a wait for the food to be brought out, but definitely worth it. We got the peanut butter banana and the Aussie waffles. Both were amazing.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Hawaii. This place fully encompasses the Hawaiian spirit. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I’ve dined in at multiple places around the island and I haven’t experienced such superb customer service before. The food is also delicious. The only thing I’d say this place should do is have people dining in pay after. That way, they can decide a more appropriate tip after the service. The food is simple, yet delicious. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Hawaii.
I absolutely love this place! Not only was the service phenomenal and the space was clean. I truly felt like there were amazing options on the menu in our food came out fairly quickly. We got basically an acai variable on a waffle and I will never look back. It was kind of hard to find this place but it was worth the look
Two of us waited over and hour for our food before we finally walked out. We ordered two berry salads one with grilled chicken and one with crispy chicken. Went to another restaurant.
The food seemed undercooked. Most of what we ordered was cool, such as sausages...just gross. The eggs were like watery snot and cool. We didn't eat a lot if what was served. I also found it a bit unusual that there was a wait when ~80% of the tables were empty
Drive Thru is supposed to be 24 hours since that is what’s stated on their window and website but every worker is asleep on the furniture inside instead of doing their job! Might as well be closed if the people you hire aren’t actually going to work!
I really like Jack in the Box, but this branch has the worst costumer service. Spare your time and go to the Ice Palace branch instead. The workers here have no etiquette whatsoever :/
We ordered drive thru pickup and paid through the app, but when we arrived they were closed. The drive thru was physically blocked off and all of the lights were out. Quite a surprise considering they are supposedly open 24 hours and it was just after midnight on a Saturday night.
The guava barbecue brisket plate was incredible: super tender and tasty! Potato-mac salad also perfect. All at a great price with friendly service. Definitely recommend!
We had the spam and eggs breakfast platter with bacon on the side! It was pretty good and fairly priced for the amount of food. Even though they were pretty busy the service was quick for takeout. Will definitely return here 🙌
Strange little breakfast spot. The food was great! But ordering was unusual. It's set up like fast food. You order at the counter and either eat inside or take out. Coffee wasn't great. The whole milk was the only milk option and it didn't taste very fresh. Still the food was amazing!

So good! Souffle pancakes are a must. Big portion, and so soft! The coco macnut pancake had more cream and was tastier than the fruits one. We also ordered the Hawaiian and Kalua Pork burgers which were both delicious. Fruit juices were also great and very fresh - POG was the best one! We got there at 12:30pm on a Saturday and there was no wait at all. That being said, service was polite and friendly but a little rushed but we found it understandable since we showed up close to closing time they probably wanted to go home for the day. Parking is available in a garage next door called Canterbury Place Parking. Overall the food is worth it!

Order the chocolate chip waffles came with two big scoops of ice cream! Nice and fluffy it was a really big waffle for the two of us. They even gave us a kids plate for free! I’d say one plate is good enough for two people, would definitely come back again if I was in the area.

Even with only 2 cars in the drive through and no one inside waited 45 minutes for food. Multiple times they have out of food or could not make it because equipment is constantly broken. Do not recommend.
The food and the service was excellent. I recommend the souffle pancakes, definitely a must order. Go early there is always a line. We went 20 min before they opened and there were still 4 parties ahead of us.
First time here and the service was quick and friendly. One thing to note is that the bathroom is not at the restaurant but at the hotel next door and you need to ask for the key

Food was good but nothing to special well at least for me as I just got the waffle with bananas. My girlfriend had the soufflé and she loved it, very foamy on the inside. Got some bacon and eggs on the side as well. $$ for just 2 people, it was good food but not that good for the price. Also if you come in the morning you will need to wait for a good 30mins or more depending on when you come. A board where you can put your name on is the first thing you need to do when just arriving there. Menus are provided outside while you wait. Friendly staff!
The service was quick and the owners are nice and friendly. I liked that they cook everything fresh right when you order. I've tried several items from here (galbi, steak, garlic shrimp, morning plate, etc) and all of them were excellent!!
This is a gem 💎 I ventured off the resort & walked here & it was soo worth it. They have a walk-up situation where u sign in at a table & wait outside. The line moves pretty fast though. Service inside was excellent. The staff was fast & all worked together well. The fruit soufflé pancakes I got were so amazing. They’re huge & different than any I’ve ever had before. The fruit was so fresh & it was almost too pretty to eat. The guava mimosa I had also tasted super fresh. I’m only here for a week, but it was so good I might go back again.
Get the greens bowl and the breakfast burrito. You will NOT be disappointed. The staff were so extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back for breakfast again.

When breakfast is needed it's better than a chain restaurant. I still don't like the plastic forks and spoons as well as paper coffee cups...that's why the lower rating.
For food. Not enough gravy plus the gravy on the Loco Moco is bland. The potatoes with the omelette lacked a lot.
Three stars is passing but there is plenty of room for improvement. The omelette was fine, nothing special. I go when my other choices are closed.

The cold brew was good, but it took an extraordinary long time and after waiting for that, I had to wait for my breakfast sandwich which took another 10 minutes after patiently waiting 20 minutes. Took 30 minutes for a cold brew and egg sandwich ? I would have just dined in somewhere. Overall experience was ruined by long wait times unfortunately. Cold brew being good is only reason for not being 1 star
We found this place because the restaurant around the corner we were planning to go to had a huge line! I am so glad that happened because this place is a hidden gem! Lots of seating and although the menu was not huge we received an excellent welcome from the gentleman at the counter, and the food and lattes we ordered were fantastic!
A cozy cafe located in the Doubletree in Waikiki, Hiking Hawaii was a great find for gluten free breakfast options. I got a breakfast burrito in gluten free tortillas, my wife (celiac) got the avocado toast on gluten free bread. Both were big portions and tasted fantastic.
The coffee was also delicious, and came in giant glasses brought out with our food by the server, who I'd guess was also the owner and cook, as she was working her butt off that day!

One of the better and very popular breakfast places known for their souffle pancakes. Super well done and delicious. The whipped cream on top is house made. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and yummy. Con is that the Benedict muffins were a bit tough and the coffee options could be more fun. I recommend going early to beat the crowd.
Ordered through the Drive-thru. There were cars in front of us waiting for their order. One car got their order and than we got our order. Thank God I checked the bag. We got our burgers and did not get our large curly Fries. Looked at the receipt and found out that the employee put down a large latte. I don't know how you get a large latte out of large curly fries.
First of all service was great!!! The loco moco was a perfect meal, the portugués sausage was delicious. The fluffy pancake was not what i expected it is literally a batter of eggs to fluff up and tastes like eggs with berries, so sad. Just warning yall! Other than that great experience!!!

This plate lunch spot has been here a long time. Conveniently located at the corner of Alakea and King Street. they offer a large selection of plate combinations in mini and small sizes. The prices are good and the breakfast seems like a really good deal. I had a combination with fried fish, spam, gyoza, and teriyaki chicken. It was okay as the chicken looked really plain and almost parboiled versus grilled. The gyoza and fish were freshly fried and good. I think I need to try the steak since most people talk about this and especially since it is part of their namesake. For now, just on what I ordered, I would probably look around for other options. Staff was super efficient and helpful, so that was definitely good.
I walked in today and my jaw literally dropped. They changed the whole menu and took out so many things!! Some of my favorites like nutty haole coffee, mauna loa acai bowl, and bacon and sausage burrito are longer on the menu as well as many other things. Ever since they got a new cook I feel like this place has slowly gone down hill as the quality of the food is no longer the same either. And as much as I love how friendly and sweet the staff are, the service is just sooooo slow and really not worth the wait anymore with all these changes happening. We were the only ones in there and acai bowls took about 30 minutes to make and they also forgot to make our burrito which took even longer. Today was probably my last day coming here unfortunately and will have to find a new spot.
My work group’s go-to take-out breakfast place. They have done a good job on keeping the prices down compared to other places. The breakfast is always really satisfying and the owners are always warm and friendly.
If you're looking for local style plate lunch that tastes great and affordable, you should come to Kahai kitchen! There's so many options available especially if you are a meat eater. They also have cheaper and smaller lunch options called university mini plates for students.

Aloha Kitchen is absolutely worth the wait! We arrived at 11 am on a Tuesday and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Service was quick and the food came out shortly after we ordered. We had the pork Benedict. It was a great choice, my only regret is not ordering their famous pancakes. The pancakes coming out of the kitchen looked AMAZING. The only thing not too exciting was the coffee, it’s $5 for hot or $6 for iced. I would probably skip the coffee on my next visit. If you’re going with another person or a group, I suggest ordering a variety and sharing so you can try the savory and sweet menu items!

We went to IHOP and ordered chocolate pancakes and chocolate cake, and I have to say I will definitely be returning. The food was exceptional, the cake of perfect consistency that I rated it 9/10 in mouth feel, and 10/10 in taste.
The banana crepes portion was huge for one person and the taste was on point, so tasty. My eggs were so fluffy. You get a lot both in quality and quantity. Thank you so much!
My absolute favorite coffee spot in Waikiki! I found this place last year when I visited and made it point to go back this time as well. The Nutella Latte is amazing! The atmosphere is like no other coffee shop! You will not be disappointed.

Great food at a little hole-in-the-wall take out spot. We went to see the King Kamehameha statue a block or two away on a Saturday afternoon and a lot of things were closed, so this is where we ended up. It was a pleasant surprise. Everything we are tasted great. Prices were reasonable. We had a bento box with a sampling of steak, shrimp, wings and Spam along with some pot stickers (I can't remember the word they used for those. All of it was good. Only negative is that there is no seating/ eating area. It's takeout only, but we found a plaza nearby and ate there under the trees.
Ordered the Loco moco. It was bland and the patty was raw in the center. It was not rare, but raw. I ate around it. Food was plain, not much taste, nothing to brag about. Food came out lightning fast. Coffee was horrible. All food served in paper plates.
Fantastic breakfast! I won't need to eat for days probably! I noticed this place on my daily walk to the conference center because there is always a large crowd waiting outside. When you go, go early and don't forget to sign yourself in when you get there. We had the fruit and the banana strawberry souffle pancakes and they were delicious and huge. I also recommend the POG juice and the coffee, which was not as strong as in most other places here, but that me be just my experience. It's also very cozy and prices are fair.

Monday special was Moniko chicken. And it was amazing. Reminded me of tangsuyuk (Korean-Chinese sweet and sour chicken). Comes with rice (brown/white/hapa) and potato mac salad. Original and filling lunch!
Best breakfast, coffee and juices I've had in all of the US. Awesome vibe and venue. Consistently good, we have been coming every morning. The coco head drink is the best drink I've had! Tastes like coconut granita from Italy! Jonathan and his staff have been amazing too!

First time visiting this Ihop for breakfast and it wasn't busy at all when we walked in and we were seated right away. Prices were very expensive. I assume as its directly across the street from the Hilton Hawaiian Village and people escape the hotel due to extremely high resort prices only to go across street and realize Ihop isn't much cheaper. Don't get me wrong as the food was good and I must admit my steak omelet was actually two meals, breakfast and lunch later that day. Service wasn't great as I asked for a napkin and eventually went and got one myself, same thing when I wanted to pay, and no they weren't busy as this was about 7am on Friday morning.

This is definitely a favorite spot in Waikiki. The tumeric latte is so delicious- unreal. Just had the breakfast crunchwrap for the first time and oh my- cheesy, protein filled goodness. The service is top notch. Try it out!
Waffles were very chewy, soft, and not tasty. Scrambled eggs were more like they were scrambled before cooking and then cooked like frying an egg. Service was not all that friendly. Not my favorite place. The view was beautiful, though.
Surprisingly a very good high quality breakfast at reasonable prices. The ordering system is cafeteria style where you go up to the point of sale and make your order. There is no weight staff for tables so when your orders are ready they'll call your number .

Edited review: they really seem to have made improvements for staffing and the food. The breakfast is still the best thing they make in my opinion.
Best blueberry scone ever. I’m so glad I found this café. It was clean good service good menu choices and I’m going to go back next week for a Reuben sandwich.
Athletically appealing cafe in a prime location in waikiki. We ordered coffee and açai bowls, popular spot and fast service. The one critique would be the açai bowls were very frozen almost like they were pre bowled, frozen then topped to order, had to wait a little bit to ea. Other than that, great experience.
This is my favorite spot whenever I am in Waikiki, ai would stop by here for breakfast after watching the sunrise. The shop is right inside of Beachcomber Hotel, a really cute shop. I love the handwriting menu, the friendly staff, and the vibe here. Always feel happy when I am here.

Cappuccino and some type of chicken sandwich for my husband he said was very good. We were just there today April 5th, 2023 and glad we found it. Great menu that accommodated all members of my family: vegan, GF, DF, and meat lover. Smoothie bowl was huge! Kombucha on tap was yummy! Daughter said her smoothie was the best she’s ever had. Cute, chill vibe.

Ridiculously slow. No wonder few people were inside and the drive thru was nearly empty. Food ready we’ll before my shake which was barely mixed. I overheard the young man in back talking about how he just made eight shakes and was going to tell customers they were out of shakes or the machine was broken. He said it a couple of time. LAZY, Terrible customer service.
Gorgeous place and the ambiance is relaxing. Generous serving on their summer salad. The ham and cheese croissant, bacon bagel and Turkey pesto panini taste great. The associate is friendly. Their half papaya with fruits is perfect to end the meal with this sweet and fresh fruits.

Prices are pretty steep for a basic generic roast (Hawaii Paradise) a roast that is generic enough to be free at hotels, it's $7 for a not even sweetened 20oz latte (I asked for a sweetened vanilla latte). We ordered their breakfast Sammy sandwiches which were so burnt, we couldn't even taste the bacon. The only flavor was burnt cheese. The atmosphere was okay with nice decor though but overall food quality is low as well as coffee and additives.

Only one slice so that was a slight disappointment but it's a very nice option for us celiac folks! We beat the morning rush so service was quite fast but it's clearly a popular spot. Iced Cocoa Mocha and iced Mexican Mocha were both amazing.
Very good food with great service. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend the iced nutella latte and eggs benedict. Plating of dishes is stunning. Its right on the bottom of the hotel lobby as well so good if you're staying there. They are also next to the pool if you want a quick dip.
Overall experience was average at best. Negatives: Don't have their own restroom, gave me coffee creamer that was already open and used. Pros: They sell food. I would definitely look for a local diner over this place. I would only go here for convenience.

Some places here have the longest wait and the food turns out mediocre anyway. This morning I walked in here and it was basically empty at 1030a on a Saturday, I was skeptical -- it can't be that good if there isn't a line out the door, right? Turned out being the best breakfast I've had so far on the island. I don't like a huge breakfast of waffles and pancakes that's going to make me feel bloated and tired like I want to go back to bed, so usually look for eggs/ omelet. Their 3 egg scramble was better than any omelet I've had here, I got one of their green juices which was made fresh on the spot. Just what I was looking for.
I visited this location at 1130pm, I wanted a quick meal after fishing. I tried the 8$ chicken sandwich box. The sandwich was good, simple but good. I had little to no fries witch I was disappointed from. The tacos where pretty good as far as tacos go. They had plenty of taco sauce on them. I asked for a doctor pepper with no ice bit I received ice. Waited in line for about 10 minutes to get to the window. My friend also ordered a cheese sandwich and was disappointed about how simple it was. The menu picture hyped it up but we received noting that looked like it. The window worker was also rude asking what we ordered and walking away as I told her. I might give this location another try during normal business hours.
Everything was super yummy and the staff were so friendly. We had the garlic chicken, special (prosciutto wrapped shrimp), guava BBQ brisket, Burger with egg on top. Everyone loved their meal!!

Food - I got the catch combo, which was furikake fried fish and misoyaki fish with white rice and potato mac salad. It was sooooo good! One of the best fried fish pieces I've ever had, I want to try and make it myself at home. The fish was very fresh tasting!

Service - It was a big menu so we were a little slow at ordering but the lady at the window was very nice to us and helpful to suggest their popular choices.
Ambiance - We did not go in, we sat outside, but it's right on the corner of a side street and pretty major street. They have some benches with umbrellas which is nice to get out of the sun.
Definitely returning whenever we get a chance to go back to Hawaii!

I'm super glad we discovered this place on our first day. I LOVE independent coffee shops! The food, coffee, and service were all excellent. The breakfast bagel Sammy was delicious with a nice spicy kick. The ham & cheese croissant was made to perfection. Each came with a small fruit cup. They have several tables outside the shop. They said they'd just begun having a lunch menu. If you're in Waikiki, this place is definitely worth a visit! As long as we're in Hawai'i, THIS is our place for coffee!!!
Always check your order before fully leaving the parking lot. The food is always warm and great. The only opportunity this location has is order accuracy. There is always something missing from my order. Today I went in and ordered tiny spicy loaded tacos, large Dr pepper and large fries. I moved up from the window Checked my order and bam! My tacos were not correct ( saddly). Lucky I an a regular so I know that we gotta check our food so I showed my receipt and they made me new tacos the right way. Just a friendly reminder please check your order before you leave the parking lot. Many times we get home and then realize our order isn't correct. Why do I come here then? Because I live like 3 mins away. And I love Jack's ❤
It's a okay place! I ordered Hamburger steak n spicy garlic chicken. Hardly any gravy n onions! Chicken wasn't spicy at all.
Love the food here. Super affordable, really clean. Lots of options that change every day. The softshell crab is amazing! They have a huge list of daily specials that actually change daily, so it's great for locals that frequent the place. Outdoor dining is always covered and cool, even on the hottest days. They also have indoor dining and restrooms for customers. I would say this place is affordable gourmet at its absolute best. You have to visit, it's crazy impressive.
This is a great cafe for having a casual sit down meal in downtown. They have an air conditioned indoor area and an outdoor area that's covered and shaded. If you decide to sit outside, they will deliver your food to you.
I like their panini specials that change daily. Specifically, I come here for the tuna melt on Fridays. Their panini specials also come with soup or salad.

I had the good morning breakfast;steak and scrambled eggs. It was a good portion size plate that can hold you until lunchtime. The food was delicious though, the steak wasn't dry and the scrambled eggs was cooked right. I paid $5.50 for my food, so it's a reasonable price. Fountain drinks refill is $.50 and a variety of drinks to pick from, there is also a snack rack. Breakfast is from morning till 11am. $5 minimum purchase if using debit/credit.
