Amazing food. Great service and not sure why the hours are so short… but just make sure you go before 2! Highly reccomend the club. Burger. And the tuna was great!

Went here during business lunch hour on a Friday. The place was Slammed, the seating and standing room were full, but the person taking my order was cool as a cucumber. He took my order without a name and I stood in line with the rest of the folks. There was about 5 people ahead of me and like 15 people waiting to order. They took orders as fast as they got them out, From placing my order to receiving it took about 10min. NOT BAD and they were cooking things fresh!

I ordered a Fish sandwich with tarter and fries. TOTAL = $9.50; HOLY MOLY! THATS A BARGAIN!

SOLID chunk of fried fish and a good portion of fries.

Fish was tender and flacky and the tartar sauce was excellent and tasted home made. The fries were crispy and for a work lunch I was really pleased.

Food is great, i love the double deckers. Very easy on the wallet as well. My only criticism, is they need to update and clean the restaurant better. The vents and ceiling tiles look like they havent been touched since the first opened. The kitchen area looks fine but the seating area really needs an overhaul.

Stopped here for lunch around noon on a Thursday. They were busy but it didn't slow things down at all. Food was super yummy, and quick to come out. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Great lunch spot!

One of the best, vegan restaurants I’ve ever eaten atLove, getting our food delivered up to Orbit , great food . We went back in the morning for breakfast. Wife got a sausage patty that she thought was meat. I had the poutine. 4 years vegan and if I was nearby, we would eat there every day

The food here is hands down some of the best flavorful vegan food in the area. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the food here. Everything my lady and I tried was delicious, and the macaroni bowl is the best vegan mac n' cheese we've ever had. They made our food with love!! Lifetime customer here!!!!

I realized at the last minute that we had three vegan guests coming to our wedding and there were not going to be any options for them at the buffet. Essen Kitchen came to our absolute RESCUE - they helped me pick a few boxed meals that matched the food style of the rest of the buffet and delivered them to our venue in OTR. Our guests told us everything was hot and delicious - and the gluten-free cookie was one of the best they'd ever had!! I truly couldn't be more grateful for y'all's help and incredible menu. Thank you so much!!

Great place to watch Bengals Nation on Wednesdays, but they need a better variety of food selections other than Asian and burgers. They used to have pulled pork but no longer.

I was in Cincinnati and needed a proper vegan breakfast.. AND FOUND IT! The chorizo breakfast burrito and potatoes were DELISH! I used Uber eats and the food was rest fast and HOT when I received it. Give this place a try!

I loved the vegan breakfast burrito, mac n cheese & chocolate chip cookie. My sister loved the veggie burger! Wish it was a sit down restaurant.

The food was good and the prices were fair. A bit of a pain they only take cash. Was a bit of a pain hiking throughout downtown searching for an atm. Great portions and quick service.

Awesome food, sweet people, and live music, yay! Bulgogi eggrolls, wings, kimchi rice were great, so was the sax player.

This is a small hole in the wall place with very little parking but really good vegan-friendly choices. We ordered online and drove by to pick up. Front door is locked so you have to ring in. They do have a couple of picnic tables on the walk in front. Their vegan bagel and lox was amazing. They even have bamboo utensils.

Burger was so good my husband had eaten it all before I got my phone out. He has been vegan for years and said it is the best burger he has had in quite a while. Mac and cheese was great I added the breakfast scramble and a sausage to my meal so it doesn't come the way I took a pic loved all the food they were really nice and everything was vegan so it made ordering a breeze

I love Essen! Their waffles & homemade jam make a perfect breakfast, and I highly recommend their breakfast catering for those early business meetings. I don’t mind going into the office for the meetings when I know Essen is the caterer! The pumpkin chili is a perfect lunch for these chilly days, but I have to say the bacon cheddar burger, with its fresh toppings, is the best! I can tell that Essen cares about the quality of their food, it shows in the taste!!

"Upscale food court" is the best description of this eatery above the downtown Kroger on the Rhine. This was my second visit to grab a healthy meal and was not disappointed with the 1883 Cafe. Other choices included a burger place and noodle place, a few others that I can't remember. It's the fresh greens that attracted me to this stall.
I was hungry and got the delicious hot Mac 'n Cheese to eat right away. It was a generous serving and ended up taking half back to the hotel. The crunchy onions were a perfect topping.
But the Power Salad is the best! The full size is a meal in itself. Fresh and roasted ingredients, a light and flavorful dressing - this is my go-to salad! Highly recommend.

Very clean, nice atmosphere, wonderful servers and the food is great. The whole upstairs was places to eat. Was able to pick up some things on main floor at Krogers.

Got noodles and rice dish from Dope in the On the Rhine eatery - a more upscale food court. The dishes were tasty but Luke warm. Service was friendly. However, If I had known that it was in the food court setting I might not have gone.

First time visitor...I very much enjoyed the no frills diner. Excellent service, very good food, and reasonably priced menu. I had the basic burger and fries...great tasting! We will definitely be returning in the future! Please note: Cash Only! Be sure to bring enough cash to pay for your meal and TIP your server.....
