Airport experience is very smooth here cuz it's so small, makes you not wanna go to Pearson. From getting outta the car and thru security and to the gate, it took us 20 min.
This airport is fantastic. Such a chill atmosphere, it’s well maintained and clean, all the staff are friendly and it’s got a few amenities. I’ll be looking to use this airport more in future instead of flying to Pearson.
We flew on Porter Airlines and found this airport to be very convenient. We took the free shuttle bus from Union Station to the airport. We used the walking tunnel (not the ferry) to get to the terminal. Check in was efficient. Security was smooth. There were several convenience stores and clean restrooms while we waited for our flight.
Small airport, quick in and outs, and convenient location for visitors and downtown residents. Unfortunately over the years their service has dropped as a result of cost cuttings they had, but still operating on a higher end comparing to many other small airports. The only downside here lack of alternatives when your flight gets cancelled.
One of the best airport in Canada. I always consider flying from here instead of Pearson YYZ. Free shuttle from Union is beneficial. No wait time for security. Highly recommend.
The convenience If you are downtown or coming in from the train is great. I do miss the free snacks and coffee that Porter offered a few years ago before selling the terminal building.
It was quite busy when I was there and hard to find a place to sit and garbage cans were also hard to find. There are 3 privacy pods to get some work done unfortunately they were being used by people stretching out playing games or watching video on their phones.
The boarding process is smooth and easy. Taxi time from gate to runway is also short and convenient.

Very convenient from Downtown Toronto, albeit a very small airport and only propeller plane can fly here. If you’re on the correct side during takeoff and landing, you get to enjoy the view of skyscraper of Toronto (and even other landmarks further east like the Scarborough Bluffs or Pickering Nuclear Power Generating Station). Too bad there were some cost-cutting as they used to provide free snacks/drinks (this was like 5+ years ago).
Great airport to go between the states and Canada. However, pack light as the aircraft is much smaller.
