A bit expansive for 1 hour but the kids had a blast.

The staff was very welcoming and professional. The facilities were also well-maintained and clean, I highly recommend this place if you want to play football.
First time we have been to this establishment. The kids just loved it 😍 I can note from myself:
1. clean
2. Friendly staff
3. The kids really like it
4. a lot of entertainment
5. even adults find it interesting 😅
I purchased my tickets online but I mistakenly assigned the wrong ones to the wrong children- just a heads up if you are buying multiple tiers like me- I did Platinum and under 5 tickets- make sure you see who you are assigning each one for.
When I arrived and went to the front desk, I tried to explain my issue to the first sales associate ,she helped fix some of the process but stepped away. The manager Ahmad and a separate sales associate Linda continued to help and had everything sorted out. I will say as soon as you walk in it is sensory overload- you already see alot happening while at the check in area, so trying to explain anything can be ultra confusing. But Ahmad was extremely helpful, listened attentively and kept the kids excited. Something else to note- try to have everyone who you purchased tickets for present when you are checking in if not you will have to continue to go back to the front desk, I think this is done to ensure everyone has a waiver assigned. This was where Linda helped tremendously- as I had to walk back 4-5 times so she let me skip the line and check my guests in.
Overall my kids had a great time- Ahmad and Linda eased my nerves and confusion!
Large space of indoor playhouse for kids. You can walk around inside without a ticket. AC is cool. Kid's birthday parties.

We been renting this place for over 5 years, and we usually have drinks from the place and bring our own snacks because what they have is not what we like. The manager at this place came to complain about about that, we will take our people to another place where we can feel accepted and be free of having a break after a game.

Play has been an amazing place for my kid to grow, both interacting with other friends during free playtime in the great space they have, but also with all the organized activities like martial arts, science, cooking and sports.

This out of the way place is an amazing indoor soccer mecca. If you like to play soccer then this is definitely worth the trip. It's a giant space with like 8 different soccer pitches. Separated by walls and nets. Perfect for 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 games.

Looking forward to many more games here. It was so much fun! Enjoy
I went to this place with some doubts, but I was completely mistaken. It's a bit pricey, not exactly affordable for your average low-income New Yorker. However, if you're looking to give your kids an amazing time, this is definitely the place to go. The energy that the little ones, and even the not-so-little ones, use to run, jump, climb, and move around is absolutely incredible. The staff here clearly knows what kids need and want. Invest your time with your kids here, and they'll have a blast!
Certain spots off the park are missing green grass because of soccer and volleyball playing. Motorbikes and electric bikes are passing through the park it's not safe. And certain dogs without a leash it's not safe .
We took our twins yesterday to celebrate their 4th birthday and they had such a great time they cried when we had to leave. I was a little apprehensive because of the bad reviews saying it was unclean, long line to get in and the workers were rude. I'm happy to say I didn't experience any of that. There wasn't a line at all to get in, every worker that I engaged with was pleasant ,helpful and the place was clean. There were a TON of kids which was expected and it wasn't overbearing. My kids were able to navigate the trampolines with no issues. I do wish they had more activities for the smaller kids. Outside of that my older kids had fun with all the activities since they were taller. This place is really catered to 5 and up.

Excellent place! For nice soccer with friends. Great price and excellent facilities. Recommend.
This place is such a great idea and such a wonderful space for kids of all ages BUT the staff needs to be a little older. Everyone that works there seems to be extremely young and they seem under enthused to work. The food court area is an absolute disaster and not very clean. I appreciated that they had plenty of Gatorade but the food choices lacked. I was perhaps expecting healthier choices. The pizza has absolutely no flavor whatsoever but looks delicious. Your best bet is to bring your own food and carry a backpack to store your things.
Called for fitness/gym center information. Representative is professional. But 6pm for adults? Earlier hours are for teens. I think it’s ridiculous timing it’s not enough since this places closes at 9pm. The hours for both parties should be execute/changed.
Also since they’re closing for renovations in June I hope they add more space & machines for the gym.
We came for a birthday party and it was awesome. It is a busy spot. My 6 years old jumped on the trampoline forever. It was so cool. We loved it. It is noisy but without beat clash. We enjoyed the music.
I did my 13 year old birthday to my girl there and everyone had so much fun! It was a bit expensive, but worth it! Good fun for all ages and the kids get so excited because it's a New place...we loved it!

Ps: You can get the Ice cream cake from them for your party...super helpful!
Love this place, gym, art and crafts, bingo, karaoke, game room, computer room, jewelry making
Two brain cells are running this place. Bad attitudes, long lines. Multiple Workers flirting calling me "mami", "thinking I was a mom"... Do you see me holding any kids?? ....Two brain cells. Then I went to use the restroom inside while my boyfriend made it in, the female drill sargent called me and I wasn't going to be rude and ignore her. Did not allow me in. Also, I had an allergic reaction to the chemicals in the water, or perhaps the water is unsanitary.. Not worth it for me. Be prepared to be disrespectfully addressed if you are entering the pool. Dont know about the rec. Really just seems like a power trip. I don't understand why they need to close off the entire bathrooms when they have hundreds of visitors! Obviously I feel bad waiting in line when there are three families waiting to get into the TWO family changing rooms! How disgusting they expect you to urinate in the pool, otherwise you cant use the indoor toilet like a human being. It's a LAZY establishment. Also, it's very crammed, and the lifeguards do not stop whistling. If you are easily affected by overstimuli, this place is not for you. Very poor experience.
This place is very fun and educational for adults and students as well as children. This place has a basketball court, free pool, gym, table tennis area, and garden. I currently work here at the moment so I can say that the manager and supervisors are friendly and great at doing their job professionally.
This is the entrance of the pool. I've been going to Sunset Pool every other day with my granddaughter, since the first week that the pool opened. I would love to have been able to take pictures inside the pool area because me and my granddaughter enjoyed ourselves a whole lot but electronics aren't allowed. You can bring electronics but they have to be left in your locker 🔐. I like the fact that you can take bottled water to the pool area. There is at times (especially when the weather is very hot 🥵) a long line outside in front of the pool to get in but the times that I have encountered such a line, the line moved quickly. There has been at least 2 cops in the entrance of the pool this summer. Although I haven't heard of anything negative that has happened in or around the pool area, it's always a good thing to see the presence of the police 🚓.
If you read the reviews, they are mainly ancient… this review is for the rec center itself… it is EASILY the worst rec center out of all of them. There are so many with amenities and classes that are available to adults…The Sunset Park Recreation center mainly caters to kids and it’s closed off to adults most of the day while kids are in school. You aren’t allowed to use the dance room to practice in, you aren’t allowed to use the media center and now!!!! No lap swimming is allowed due to “lack of lifeguards”.. there is an Olympic sized pool yet everyone has to be crammed into half of it where you are unable to swim without a teenager doing a cannonball onto your head. I was really looking forward to doing laps this summer .. but all we’re allowed to do in this MASSIVE pool is cram together with a bunch of kids peeing and the inability to SWIM with 18 lifeguards SURROUNDING it. I was hoping that the pool would make up for everything this rec center is lacking but it just officially made it the worst rec center. SO DISAPPOINTED after waiting through winter to finally be able to do laps again … people who are doing laps generally know how to swim, how about designating one of the lifeguards to the lap area and all of the others to the cool off area? People want to swim!!!!!
This is the most interesting center I have ever seen. They have so many interesting and entertaining classes, such as folk and square dancing, chair tapping just to mention two. They are very diligent with security and health questions with regard to covid, fever and masks. I am very impressef

Our daughter has been in the after school program for two years now. We first got to know about the space through spending a few birthday parties there. We can’t imagine a better place for our daughter to develop with her friends. Their classes for both after school and summer camps are amazing and super engaging. Can’t thank them enough

My son Noah (7) and I both love PLAY!
There is a good variety of classes offered and passions to exercise from art to tennis. Friendships form and inspirations happen.
Every single time I have a change of plan on my side, Play is able to adjust to it and make things happen for both my son and I. Thank you every one of you for being flexible when needed and thank you for your care and love💛🌸🌱💛

Our daughter never wants to leave. We know she is safe, loved and well cared for when she is there. Worth every penny. The staff is highly professional and invested in the children's happiness and well being.

My daughter goes to one of after school programs at PLAY and she LOVES it. She comes home with a little project she made that day in the class and she always talks how fun it was. When we talked about the after school options next semester, she insisted that she continued to go to the class at PLAY.

Also, we put her in a day camp there when the school is closed. Previously, we had an issue at the drop off time at different camps and she cried and did not want to go but since she started attending after school, on the camp days, she woke up very excited to go to a day camp at PLAY.

The part of the reason she loves PLAY is the staff there. All of them are so nice and my daughter loves them! We are so pleased with their programs and the staff there!

I am a member here and you should join it's awesome it's a place to go you can do exercise they have recreational things to do they have tap dancing awesome place to go and meet good people.
Friendly and inviting space, sorry I didn't join sooner
This is my center where I take quilting classes. There is a room with exercise equipment, and we get to use the computers too. The staff is very nice, especially Dominic, and the two Michaels.
I enjoy F H senior center because of the respect the staff shows to its members. The programs are well run and provides a pleasant atmosphere to poaca (people of a certain age)
The more I attend the center more I'm glad it's there.
Great facility and great atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Currently in the winter league and play on weekends there, great especially with how cold it is to play outdoors. One minor issue I have is when booking a field I sometimes have to call 2 or 3 times before someone picks up. Also I have to call once to ask for availability and second time to confirm the booking. An online booking solution would be great to save time.

I really love PLAY! The facility is clean and the staff is super friendly and professional. Our kids in summer camp are having a blast. It's very well organized, fun and educational. PLAY is affiliated with French For Little Ones (FFLO) Preschool and Learn French Brooklyn which provide French classes and workshops for all ages.

I’ve come here with my son when he was 10 months, 18 months & 20 months. It’s a perfect spot to let him release his energy. There is enough stuff to keep him entertained for hours, and once we leave he’s ready for a nap. There is a small place that has tables and chairs so he can eat. The bathroom is clean and has a changing table. This is a great place. I try to come when there are less kids since it isn’t a big space. My son loves it!
Great facility for our community! Wish more people would take advantage of this incredible resource
Great park to enjoy the weather and just to relax and have a walk. The recreational center is pretty cool they have lots of free class such as zumba and etc. Great spot for taking photos and playing basketball. Overall awesome park to have lunch in warm weather.

Nice facility , very clean. However pricing for a day visit is outrageous. Most places are 8-12 dollars and that includes many more activities for children such as bounce houses, water tables, etc.
