Finally got to try the first Tacofino after trying every Tacofino in Vancouver. We had grilled chicken burrito, chicken gringa, tuna tacos and beef tacos. As always, it was delicious.

Unfortunately the wait time is really long. We spent 37 minutes to place the order and another 45 minutes to get it - almost an hour and a half in total. It would be great if there was online ordering.

Famous original Tacofino in Tofino. Went about an hour before closing and was able to order right away. Only waited around 15 minutes for the order. Food was delicious. My favourite was the crispy chicken tacos.

The tacos were really flavourful. We got the fish, pork, crispy chicken, and a veggie one. Pork was kur favourite. The problem was the line. It took over an hour to get our tacos, good thing we were on vacation so we just chilled. But there were people complaining they were missing some waves. The washroom was super clean so it's a good place to stop by before a long drive back to the ferry.

Such an amazing spot to get some tacos or burritos. The staff were very friendly and helpful in ordering and the food was delicious. I highly recommend heading here for lunch or dinner and eating it there as it’s a nice atmosphere on a nice sunny day. I had the beef burrito and my wife had a beef taco and a chicken taco and they were both superb!

It was recommended by several friends to try the fish tacos at Tacofino on our trip to the island and boy are we glad we did. The food was delicious! We ended up ordering the fish tacos and the tuna tacos and both were delicious. Such different flavors in both.
We will definitely be going back the next trip. In the mean time on the search for a delicious fish taco at home.
Hopefully the cashier that took our order sees this review and the picture, I promised to tag them in, she was pretty wonderful too!

* The only downfall was a lengthy wait to order. I do think I saw that you could pre order, so will look further into that next time.

A definite must experience! It is a good truck hidden away but a gem. The vibe is laid back and friendly. A community feel with two long communal live cut tables to eat outside and music playing in the background.

The food truck has a collection of stickers from visitors around the world. The food, fresh and tasty with vegan and vegetarian options too. Loved it so much went back for seconds and may visit again before I leave.

Always a line, expect a wait. But definitely worth it. Best location in my opinion. Their beef steak burrito is my fave. This location lets you add a bit of kimchi and it’s 👌🏽. Definitely a must when in Tofino.

4 stars because they charge an auto 10% gratuity on all orders, sometimes without telling you - not cool. It’s takeaway.. You should give people the choice to tip or not tip.
