Large portions for the price. I thought they would be a little expensive, but when I got my food, the portions were quite large.

The flavor is okay as well.

First time trying this place. Everything was really good, very fresh and well prepared and seasoned. I highly recommend the chili relleno, yum! Be prepared to wait for your food though. They are not quick! But worth waiting for.

I called and Order a Salad and quesadilla and two Ginger ale for a Co-worker and I and we found on the Salad a Worm/Maggot on the Salad!!! Can you imagine feeling that in you mouth..... Gross!!! They did give us our Money back and all!!! Make sure you Check your products that you are Selling especially food!!!! As an Owner I would want to be aware if there's an Issue with the Food that Customer digest!! please be aware!!!!

This place is disgusting, got a grilled chicken salad and it had maggots. They just gave me my money back and said that has never happened before . DON'T WASTE MONEY HERE. THEY ARE NOT CLEAN.

I wasn't the one who took the food back it was my coworker. . And then to straight out lie and say that I made that up. How Dare You. Of course i'm going to write a review. Wouldn't you be upset if that happend to you.

Took a little long bit food was amazing.

This is a local restaurant in South River New Jersey the local is very small, the restaurant looks like it it needs a little bit of tidy up and cleaning. Too many bags and too many things laying around. The service and the food actually is really good they're really nice people. Their portions are big therefore can be for two or three people depending on how much you can eat. Parking is in the street can be challenged a Time.
This is a very good Mexican food despite of the look of the restaurant inside.

Truly authentic Mexican cuisine, crazy delicious, super satisfying, and very well priced. If your going to do Mexican, do it right, go to El Tapatio.
