This place was awesome! I went specifically cause they had mul naengmyeon on the menu and it didn't disappoint! So so tasty and the mandu was also delicious. And the kimchi! Yummmmm. It's been awhile since I've had new homemade kimchi and it was great!

The servers were so nice and the owner as well. They all came and talked to me and I made new friends at the same time! Some other tables had BBQ which also looked fab, as well as dolsot bibimbap, which is always a winner. Definitely stop here if you are in Korea town!
The food was amazing, service was impeccable, atmosphere and ambience was relaxing and homey. The owner, Jason, is running the place very well and he has outdone himself and his team. Cheers to him and his wonderful team of rockstars!

I can't say it was great, but it was good. I expected it to be more flavorful. The dessert menu was especially limited and unremarkable.
I've been here a couple times with friends, and we've all enjoyed it! The food doesn't take too long, and the ladies there are very friendly. my friend had the beef and egg bibimbap, and i had the spicy squid bibimbap, it was SOO good! the sides were tasty as well, and it was overall an amazing experience. After our meal, the waitress gave us some watermelon too😍 highly recommend going there, I will be coming back!!
The food here is delicious and the prices are pretty decent, but the service needs some improvement.

When I went, the place was very crowded, and my family and I had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. After being seated and choosing what we wanted, we waited another 15 minutes for the waiters to take our order.

Apparently, we were supposed to write down our orders ourselves, but no one informed us?? They seemed to expect us to already know this. 😭
How can I call this a hidden gem when it’s been around for 46 years??

Maybe because there’s so many Korean restaurants in the neighborhood it’s easy to miss, but you’d be a fool not to try Jason (and his late mom’s) food and hospitality.

Forget how good the food is (it’s really good). Jason doesn’t think of you as his customers, he straight up told us we were guests in his mothers home and that’s why he’s going to take care of us and make sure we have the best meal.

How can you not want to reserve a table for the rest of time when you meet a guy like that?!? I’m coming back.

Ambience is AMAZING, Food is DIVINE, Service is 10/10. Good food good soup try their Miso Soup!!!❤️
Had the pleasure of eating here before a concert, and it really brought me back to my travels. The kimchi stew was outstanding, very spicy, and the service was super fast and polite. The owner is also very active, walking the floor in both the kitchen and amongst the guests. He took the time to speak with a number of the tables and really engaged with people, which I take as a good sign for this place as well. Prices are fair as well. I left feeling very satiated. Thank you :)

Wonderful food and probably the best rice I have ever eaten. The pancakes were delicious. The service was very nice they helped us understand the menu. The atmosphere was very nice. They put the euro match and good music.
It's probably one of the best cold noodles I've tasted in Korean town. We were craving for some cold noodles and we were quite impressed with the freshness and how delicious it tasted. The BBQ was good as well, the meat is high quality and some of the best seasoning I've had in a while. The decor was welcoming, not too over the top, it has this very inviting atmosphere that says you are in for a treat.
Definitely became my new favourite korean restaurant. The price was so cheap compared to the portions. Service is beyond excellent. I’ll definitely come here again 🥰

The service and food were fantastic. The ambiance and sake combination were also excellent, making me want to come back again.

I highly recommend trying the lunch and dinner specials. The reasonable prices, great taste, and high food quality were all impressive.
The first meal was in 1998 and became a regular since
Over the years the business been through a handful of owners and I still visit them once every few months (more often in the winter). Returned for dinner tonight after a long year break, full house with mixed customer in this rush hour on a Saturday night. Ordered my regular dishes - seafood pancake, kimchi pancake, Jap Chae glass noodles and table cooking pork bone soup. I have to say the flavor has changed but it’s still delicious, pancakes were more crunchy, Jap Chae noodle is less sweet but tastier, only the pork bone soup was not up to the previous chef’s standard, it tasted “ok” rather than very rich and exciting as it used to be, also no potatoes in the soup makes it sad.
However the services was greater than before, a younger vibe, cheerful and very attentive
The only thing that’s untouched was the decor, still old still messy but that’s fine, you’ll always forget it soon as the food are served.
The Korea House Restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best Korean restaurants in Toronto's Korea Town. During my visit, I tried the soup with beef and glass noodles, which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the beef fried rice, and it was equally impressive. The portions were generous, easily enough for two people.
Before our main dishes arrived, we were delighted with complimentary items including kimchi, radish salad, rice, and seasoned sesame glass noodles. These tasty extras added to the overall fantastic dining experience.
The staff at Korea House are friendly and attentive, despite being busy. They regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. Whether you're looking for a great spot for lunch or dinner, Korea House Restaurant is an excellent choice.

Amazing japanese and korean dishes! I really love their Mori hokkido scallop roll. Highly recommend it! Best japanese and korean restaurant and bar near yonge&eglinton!
My sister and I came all the way from Vancouver and Philippines and tried this restaurant.
We had an unforgettable dining experience! The owner’s exceptional service made us feel incredibly welcome. Each dish was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend for anyone seeking great Korean food and top-notch hospitality! :)

Will def go back again!
Abundantly filling and appetizing, Yummy Korean Restaurant does not disappoint. Upon providing the staff with your orders, they promptly provide banchan (Korean complimentary small side dishes) in preparation to your meals.

Atmosphere overall is welcoming. However, due the small size of the restaurant in nature, it’s expected to be put on a waiting list when the place gets busy. Not a total showstopper, but still noteworthy.

The food is gracious in portion sizing and as appetizing as it can be. Staff are helpful and approachable. Highly recommend this place.
Best Korean Restaurant we’ve tried so far! Three meals for about 65$ and we still get to take home some leftovers! They literally serve YUMMY Korean dishes! Good customer service too! Beef glass noodles, tang soo yum, and spicy stir fried beef are the best ones so far! Still our number one choice of Korean restaurant!
Best restaurant in Korea town! The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Someone at the table next to us wasn't eating their meal so he came up to them, asked why and when the person said it was too spicy for them he brought them out a couple dishes to balance even though nobody asked him. He was super attentive to our table as well, he said he treats his guests like family and we definitely felt that! Food was amazing as well! We had HOT STONE BOWL BIBIMBAP with beef, YUKGAEJANG (spicy stew) and fried dumplings. Everything was amazing! Loved the sides too and will definitely be back! Thank you Jackson🙏🏻
i usually don’t make google reviews, but this restaurant was so disappointing that i felt the need to warn other people from wasting their money coming here. to start, almost all of the side dishes were bad. the kimchi was salty but had no sourness to it (lack of fermentation?), the japchae was overly salty, and the potatoes were sad as well. we ordered the bulnark jeongol (beef, octopus, and veggie hotpot), and it was so extremely disappointing. the soup base was, again, VERY SALTY, but also lacking in flavour…? the octopus was not marinated in anything, and because the soup base lacked flavour, i was just chewing on endless flavourless octopus. the only good thing about the dish was the beef, which was actually quite flavourful. i can’t say the same for the rest of the items inside the hotpot though. please save your money and don’t come here. we only came here because imonay was closed, and the other restaurants looked too packed. never coming back here again…
Had a very pleasant experience. We tend to be a picky and hard to please group when it comes to restaurants but I'm happy to say this place delivers. The location is OK not the greatest. But their food was very nice. The bulgogi and sweet and sour chicken were very good. Everything tastes nice and was tender. Portion sizes and prices are very fair. So far my favorite Korean spot downtown.
Every time we’re in Korea Town, this is always our go-to place for Korean food. It’s a small place but the servings are very generous and delicious - our fave Pork Bone Soup place for $13.99 and it’s good to share with 4 people! You can’t beat that nowadays! It’s so filling and they refill sides too! It was about time I remember to take some photos and to leave a review! They definitely deserve my praise!
Can’t wait to go back & hear our fave Treasure songs next time!😁😁

(from someone who’s travelled to Korea twice now just to enjoy Treasure’s concerts!)💎💎
Amazing hospitality!! Amazing food!!!
Clean, neat, cozy, amazing place! Looks like lots of celebrities and people around the around world visited here

I went their with family!
We tried many appetizers, drinks, and different main dishes. I personally tried jajangmyeon.
The food was super delicious!!

Went their to celebrate my wife's birthday. They even gave us dessert on the house!!

I would definitely visit again.
Highly recommended!
Best Korean place in town. Comfy place for 2-4 people . Food is delicious . I really recommend bibimbap which has so many flavors on it. Price is very reasonable. I will def come back again
Okay service and got seated closer to the entrance where it there was a breeze coming in. Which made some of us uncomfortable. The food did keep us were. All the sides were delicious. Order the kamja tang (pork broth) no spice. Normally would go with the spiced options, but couldn’t handle any spice this day. I will come back another time to try. My friends also order the tofu soup and enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was okay didn’t too much, but did come by when we waved them down.
Came here with my permanent roommate at 5 pm because I was hungry. We didn’t expect the place to be busy but we only managed to get one of the last free tables. By the time we left at 6, there was a lineup.

We ordered the sizzling beef short ribs and sweet and spicy chicken which came with side dishes and rice. Portions were decent for the price and the food was delicious.

Overall, a great place to get a casual meal in a cozy and clean environment.

I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. The pork bone soup is one of my favorite dish. BUT, today’s pork bone soup tastes different. Meat is old and dry. And it’s not as soft as before. I can’t separate the bones. Even the potatoes are hard. Please please be consistent with the quality.

Went here with a large group and service was great. We ordered a variety of sharing dishes and I have no complaints. Food was tasty. Korean beer was OK. It was a great time and nice atmosphere. It’s not the most spacious restaurant so be prepared to wait or dine with patrons close by

Service was good, food was mediocre. Yukgaejang was not bad, it had good flavor. Kalguksu was not good at all, the noodles were cooked okay but the broth was not seasoned well. They had one server working and the place got pretty full by the time we got our food, but she was attentive and efficient.

Superb food and service! We got beef bone soup and the bone was bigger than their usual - it was delicious! They were also nice enough to give us tofu on the side. They used to have it in the menu, but not anymore - you can still ask for it if you want.

Very easy to order, and very good sushi here! They have good deals :) However, if you are looking to dine in, there are only two tables! I thought it was more of a restaurant but you are still able to dine in here if you come a bit more early when there are spots!
Honestly a really great place! The food is always up to temp, huge portions, plenty of side dishes & water, and worth the price.

The employees are very kind and treat the guests very well even when they are clearly very busy (please be kind in return)

The atmosphere is friendly/welcoming and theres always good Korean music playing in the background such as IU. Theres several tables that can fit groups of people but please be considerate that this resturant can fill up fast so you may have to wait (it's worth it)

I love the Kimchi they make in house here its like getting a warm hug 😩💜 On my most recent visit my server brought me out some extra so Its safe to say in my experience they go above and beyond to give you a good experience.

My last visit I had the Kimchi Jjigae and it was scorching hot when it came out, it was spicy and yet so refreshing and flavorful! I've been here 3 times so far and I no for sure I will be back 😌

This place is uniquely decorated, which makes it an interesting atmosphere to sit and enjoy a good bite. The service was a little slow but not a deal breaker. The food was great, loved all the rolls that we ordered, the salad was decent, miso soup was pretty standard which I like and the tempura was large and crispy. Although a little pricey, I'll most likely go back.
Great experience. The food was great. The service was amazing. Very special thanks to JOY. JOY, your service was exceptional and amazing. I am definitely recommending this place to family and friends. A must visit restaurant if you are in the area.

Great value for the money. Rolls were decent. Thin rice layer, big, quality ingredients. A little heavy on the tempura flakes. I would avoid the scallop handroll. It was pretty greasy. Overall, good experience.

I wish I could give the MINUS 100 stars. How dare they use the name “Korean”? It is NOT Korean food at all. Someone just imitates Korean food but the taste is only just terrible.
I ate a lot and normally I don't have food left over but I could not finish the food even when I was hungry. I didn't even ask to pack them.
Amazing Korean food! I love how you can ask for refills on side dishes. Their bimbimbap is filled to the brim. I’m so full as I’m typing this aha. But, totally worth it!

Delicious and beautifully presented food. I loved the artificial cherry blossoms woven through the ceiling beams and bamboo (?) potted plants everywhere. Be aware that the online menu is not exactly the same as the in-restaurant menu (several dishes were listed as having 8 pcs, for example, but only ended up having 6 pcs when we ordered). For those looking for an upscale romantic atmosphere: Also be aware that despite the upscale feel of the website menu, this leans toward more a bar interior, especially with the big screens with sports playing, fast-food type small/thin paper napkins. Fine if it's what you're expecting, of course! The website photos, however, gave the impression of much more upscale atmosphere. Maybe it would help if the site included more of the restaurant, including the sports tv screens? But again....the food is fantastic. I would come back again for the food for a casual night with friends, but not for a special anniversary dinner.

I recently dined at Korea House Restaurant and overall, I had a positive experience. While there were some areas that could be improved upon, the food was delicious, the service was satisfactory, and the pricing was reasonable.

Let's start with the food. The dishes at Korea House were pretty good. The flavors were authentic, and I appreciated the variety of options available. However, one aspect that could be improved is the portion sizes of the side dishes, especially when dining with a larger group. Considering that there were ten people at our table, it would have been nice if the side dishes were more generous.

Speaking of the service, it was decent but not exceptional. The staff was friendly and attentive, but it was evident that they were understaffed during my visit. This led to some delays in service and made it challenging for the staff to accommodate specific requests promptly. For example, when a customer asks for an extra dish of kimchi, it would be better if the restaurant could offer it without suggesting that they finish the existing kimchi before refilling it. This small change in approach would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

In terms of pricing, Korea House Restaurant's menu is reasonably priced. However, I did notice that some of the prices on the entree section were higher than expected. It would be a good idea for the restaurant to update its menu to reflect accurate pricing, as it can be disconcerting for customers to find discrepancies between the listed prices and what they are charged.

Despite these areas of improvement, I would still recommend Korea House Restaurant for a satisfying dining experience. The food is tasty, the service, while not exceptional, is adequate, and the prices are fair. With a few adjustments to their side dish portions, promptness in fulfilling customer requests, and menu updates, Korea House has the potential to become an even better dining destination.

We had Aburi Salmon Dragon before (my favorite so far) but this time we decided to try something new for my boss's farewell party and and this did not disappoint us at all - Sashimi Sushi Roll Tray B. We also ordered a tempura and all were super yummy! The sushi rolls here are high-quality with great ingredients. Any roll with the rice is fantastic, rice is soft enough, not too sticky not too dry. Plus the sushi and sashimi at this place are not pricey as I thought. You can feed your belly with just $20 or so. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the sushi from here. It's a small spot more ideal for lunch or dinner take out but there is some small seating tucked in there. What stood out with the sushi was just the high quality ingredients and freshness.... As if the fish had just jumped out of the ocean, disassembled itself in mid air and landed in a bed of rice, ready to be enjoyed. But not on that way, get your mind out of the gutter, do i look like Aquaman? It's just good sushi, you dig?
This place is great. The restaurant name is great, because it's true. Yummy and cheap!! It's a nice comfy place for 2 -4 ppl. The tables are nice even if its only 1 or 2. If you come when it is busy, you have to wait at the front but the service is pretty fast and the one girl with the glasses is always very polite with me. I appreciate it very much. Food is delicious! Cheaper than majority of Korean restaurants I've been to. Great value for your dollar. New young gentleman with glasses also very polite. Had a 35 min wait on Saturday evening, but is expected during the weekend. Weekdays are not as busy as I was told by the waitress.

Will be back soon. Was superb.

Great place to grab a (sometimes) quick bite for lunch. Everything is assembled to order and the prices are reasonable. Sometimes, during busy hours, it can take a while for the food to be prepared as it's mostly just one person preparing the food, so be sure to order ahead.
Went here three days ago and still thinking about it. Nice casual spot with good service and yummy food! The soft tofu spicy soup was truly amazing. The vegetable pancake was crispy and tasty and the vegetable dumplings were melt in your mouth scrumptious. Already thinking about what I’m gonna order next time and I can’t wait!!

Visited first time after a concert last Saturday around 12:30am. It was very busy. Open 24 hours authentic Korean restaurant on Bloor & Christie. Street parking was a must. Great customer service. Food served hot and quick. They tasted pretty good. Portion was decent.
This has been a consistent Korean/Japanese option in the neighbourhood for many years now. The owner is a very expressive and friendly man. The bibim noodle has been the saviour of many a hurried lunch hour.

Me and my boyfriend found this Korean restaurant on Christie street by accident. I have heard from friends that the food inside is quite delicious and I was curious to try it. I think the food is really delicious but the price is affordable, the shop is very crowded with dine in and delivery, so I feel like a trure Korean restaurant.

Delicious sushi and excellent quality/portions for the price!

Large selection of specialty maki rolls and well thought out sushi/Maki combos that are great value.

The owner is friendly and passionate, putting a lot of care in the preparation and quality of his food. Rolls are cut to a nice size and ratio of toppings to rice is on point.

Small shop with some seating for dine in, but definitely more of a take out/ quick bite set up.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, you may end up waiting for your order to be prepared upon arrival so keep that in mind if you are in a rush/ mind waiting.

Tatsu Sushi has perhaps one of the best 'spicy salmon roll' of all sushi place I went to in Toronto. Why so specific? Well, I really love 'spicy salmon roll' and it is something I always ordered every time I visit a sushi shop. So if you are like me, then you should definitely try it!

Aside from that, the sushi/sashimi and food tasted great and worth your money. It is priced well; and I highly recommend getting the combo or set menu to get the most of it. The sushi is always fresh and of a great quality every time I order here. This is one of my to-go place when I'm craving sushi, especially 'spicy salmon roll'!
Loved the service and cozy feel of the place. Can't really fit large groups but groups of 4 are best! Their rice is purple rice as default which makes it even more awesome. Good sized portions and decent pricing (keeping in mind the location). They have a few dumpling options also. I would recommend the bimbimbap though for $12
