I have been here 3x in the past 30 days, once for take out and twice for dine in. Every time it has been consistently great sushi. Not sure whats up with the recent off reviews, but I've never had a bad experience.
Ate here every other day for like two weeks. Perfect place for a quick sit down meal. Came for the bento box, stayed for the gyoza! The owners are nice and they work there every day.
Yum!! This was one of the best door dash I’ve ever had. I had the volcano sushi roll and creamy ginger shrimp bento and everything was really really good! I would have given five stars, but they did not give me the spicy mayo that I paid for. It’s very common for places to overlook small minor details that could potentially give them perfect service, but most places just don’t care. It’s a real simple check order/check bag procedure. No excuses. But other than that the food was excellent.
people were great. owner is great. atmosphere feels great. my only critique is with something the owner has no control over. i feel bad for the owner because i believe the location of the restaurant holds it back from getting the business it deserves. i recommend the udon soup very filling
I’ve loved this place since it opened. Last year it went through new ownership/ management and has fallen behind. I am waiting now an hour for take out order. The hot food has been sitting waiting for the sushi for over 15 minutes which means my hot food will be cold by the time I get my full order.

Think it’s time to find a new favorite sushi place.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! I would give zero stars if it was an option. They discriminate against the autistic population. I ate there for lunch this week and the autistic person I was with spilled a bottle of soy sauce. Not only were we told that the autistic population she not be allowed out in public, but we were also told that they knew we would be a problem when they saw us walk in the door. They are now demanding money because they had to shut down the restaurant because it “smelled like soy sauce.” Not only did we go back and steam clean the floor where the sauce spilled, but also replaced paper that had been spilled on. Shame on you Sushi Little Tokyo restaurant.
Worst sushi ever. Tasted horrible and ate two pieces and gave up. One roll tasted like bleach. American owned.. This is not the authentic sushi you are hoping for. Did not come with any soy sauce, wasabi, or ginger. The manager was not helpful. Never eat here.. You will be better off.
The place doesn’t look pleasing, and I’m craving for some Asian noodle soup at 9pm, i was happy that they are the only place opn till10pm. I was hesitant at first as I look at the reviews scores. I drove with my daughters and my husband and I’m all up for food and it was amazing! Food was yummy and authentic! Im so happy that I found a new late good food to go.
