I have attended the Women's Boot Camp class and it has been a wonderful experience! When I walked in for the first time, I was greeted by such positive energy by the instructor, as well as the other women there. Not having any previous experience, the instructor broke everything down so I could understand and the classmates were patient while she did so. I felt so good about the class, I immediately bought a "punch card" so I could attend as I please, since I cannot attend weekly due to my work schedules. I haven't seen that membership option with many other CrossFit gyms so that was what really helped me make the decision to commit!

First time. Coach was nice people are nice. The gym is clean. 10 out of 10 wpuld recommend

I absolutely love this gym. They really are like family here. My husband and I aren't originally from the area and we don't have family around here, but this gym more than makes up for that. Not only do I feel great after a workout here, I also have made some great friendships that I am sure will last a lifetime :)

Such a welcoming environment full of supportive and kind people!! The coaches are knowledgeable and fun to be around, the atmosphere of the gym is engaging and makes me look forward to working out…even on rough days! Great place to meet great people and get killer workout!

This was our first experience with CrossFit and we are hooked - the atmosphere, the technique focus, the coaches and most importantly, the community! Straight from the start, everyone was incredibly welcoming, introducing themselves and very helpful in ensuring we understood all the movements. All of the coaches are very nice and great teachers, and we loved the programming. Though we were only in the are for a few months, we’re so glad we had the opportunity to join this gym! This gym is full of amazing people. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness, form and strength and are willing to help you achieve your desired outcome. Terrible experience. The old owners tried to sue me. I ended up getting warts from the bathroom. You get what you pay for

Good gym, has everything you need and open 24/7. Wished they updated the equipment once in a while, definitely needs some upgrades. Just don’t like the people that go there. A bunch of people come late in the evening and bring their 4 year old kids! And they just let the kid roam the gym with an iPad even messing with equipment . Hopefully that gets taken care of soon

Awesome gym. All skill levels are welcomed. Just a bunch of folks looking to get a sweat on. The owners and members at this gym are some of the nicest people in the area. CrossFit Acernus is a hidden gym in Lebanon.

First gym I ever got a membership to - great experience! The staff is friendly, and there is a wide selection of equipment.

I’ve been going to New York fitness religiously for over 10 years and it’s my absolute favorite gym in Lebanon. Employees are awesome and the environment is real. It’s also open 24/7 :)

A great selection of machines. Price is fair after initial statg up fee. Recommend over other local gyms.

The gym offers a great synergy class, you definitely get a good workout in. Rosetta is wonderful as she makes amazing shakes and provides great workout plans. ❤️

I enjoyed my time at NYFC- I started out in Palmyra while I was still getting acquainted to the machines during Personal Training with Jared. I transitioned to NYFC- Lebanon with Personal Trainer Alan and now am confident enough to use the machines even on days I don't have a personal trainer. The owner- Lonnie always said Hi- which has always made me feel apart of the family. I like that its a family owned business that works together and grows together (hard to find). Keep Coming Back it Works if You Work It Your Worth It.

Planet fitness is a great place to start exercising. The machines are organized for each muscle group, and I love they always keep the machines updated and the space clean.

Haven't been there but im just rating it for its startup fee which is ridiculous. I believe it's $199! They will never see me there thats for sure lol

Loved it, so many machines and all updated. Clean gym and friendly staff. Very easy to sign up and they always have the $1 sign up fee.

Judgment free is a joke , from the loud alarm to the rude employees. I have a routine wake up shower gym then shower then work. When I was there, I had a hulking meat head next to me grunting 3 other members that did not understand personal space. A smell was emanating from this over crowded work out area. 20min into my work out I went to get water and was aproched by this sed smell. I was not even sweating, so how could anyone make this assumption. I felt insulted by such an assumption and left shortly afterward. If anything they should have automatic air freshnor. With this being said this place was great at first , it is not evolving to accommodate its membership load. And I am now seeking other places to go to

Do not get a membership without knowing all the details. They back you into a corner without explaining your contract. Never notified of anything but they will continue to charge you. Don’t go here

Lonnie the fitness trainer is highly recommended! I dropped 12 lbs and 6 percent body fat in 3 weeks, and I have one week left, and I’m 55. This man has the physique all men are looking for!

I have no complaints about this gym’s cleanliness or accessibility but I do see need of improvement concerning the staff. Recently I went wanting help with change of membership & while the staff member “tried” to help me out, he didn’t problem solve whatsoever and ended up referring me to another gym.

Not to mention he had what appeared to be “clash of clans” on his phone the entire time & and would glance at me and then back to the screen frequently… I left feeling unheard & really disappointed. Hopefully his score was worth it.

Great gym for beginners- very inexpensive! The price is the best part of Planet Fitness. Many many treadmills/cardio machines- but they are often used adequately enough to justify the amount. I DO wish that the free weights section was a bit larger- I find that many people are often crammed in this small area and it can be hard to find a spot. Have had good interactions with the staff. The gym, in general, always seems quite tidy! Only two minor issues I’ve found were that the shower doesn’t get warm and the water fountains filters almost ALWAYS need to be changed.

This gym doesn't have modern equipment. And the equipment they do have is poorly kept. For the prices they charge, this place should be brought up to date.

Your average run of the mill small gym. The guests there are all nice. Extremely overpriced for what you get though. My issue was with management. Everything was through text or email, even when I tried calling. Not to mention there was never staff on duty regardless of the time of day. I called back in April to cancel my membership. I was told I'd have to pay a hefty cancelation fee. Fine, whatever. Then i got a letter in the mail saying my overdue membership fees went to a collection agency called Internal Credit Systems. Google them, they have a history of criminal activity and fraudulently trying to scare people into paying them money. For weeks I was harassed by the owner of the collection agency who said I didn't cancel my membership as they dont allow cancelations, theyre against the law due to a contract i signed. I never signed anything. I never even saw one employee there in person, my key fob was taped to the door. I requested the said contract i allegedly signed to be sent to me and they did not provide it. The whole process was so unprofessional that should have been my first red flag. So I reached out to the gym to get things solved and left a voicemail. I got a text saying I never canceled my membership and that they were waiting to hear back from me the whole time. I of course disputed this fact as I without a doubt canceled in April and had not been back since. I even offered to pay the cancelation fee if it didn't go through. I never got a response. Thankfully my good credit score was not affected as the membership was a gift to me and the card used was not mine. Will never associate with Anytime fitness or ABC Fitness again.

It’s an ok gym for what it is and location is great. I have no problem with the gym at all, my concern is someone accidentally broke the shower head how I have no clue! But that’s been over a month ago almost 2 months now! And still the shower head hasn’t been replaced. There’s literally a home depot right across the street! There’s always gonna be overhead cost running a business it’s a $30 tax right off at that! And at these gym prices going up the company needs to do their part and fix equipment that’s broken.

Nice staff, equipment sanitizers literally hanging on garbage cans, sanitizing wipes empty. Every bar was inadequate for bench since they all had a curve in them. Equipment works but is very outdated.

Working with a personal trainer, Kyle, is the reason I have continued to get any exercise for the last ten years.

I’ve been a member of this gym for a long time. Despite some of things I’ve read, staff has always helped me move through things. I had to terminate a second membership from my account, this was done with no issues. There were fees through my bank, (which the gym covered). I have the equipment I need, the environment is good. It is clean. With other options for bigger gyms, I’d stay here. I’m happy with the 24-7, the staff always greets and has always helped me with any issues with their financial company.

Also, Jojo Romanoff always encourages positivity and quality of life in his classes and with clients. He made it his mission to get me out of my comfort zone and I learned new things, and got to revisit some old favorite things.

Good set up and use of space with equipment along with enough weights to go real heavy it you want to. The (Hammer Strength Equipment is great) and considering the size of the gym with whats in it and being 24 hrs it's a solid membership to have. The atmosphere is never overly crowded and kept clean which is a big bonus.

Love the gym ,been taking really good selfies in the lady's bathroom lol overall when it comes to the hygienic status ,everything is well cleaned and sanitizing wipes are in every corner of the gym as well as disinfectant sprays for the machines for wipe downs etc. I do recommend this gym for new beginners and all in general. Really good service and up to date equipment. I mean you should just go and see for yourself !

Employees are very friendly and helpful, and the equipment is in decent shape and has variety. My only complaint would be that it is not big enough for their customer base and it’s a hit or miss with the cleanliness of the women’s locker room. Their tanning and massage services are awesome, would recommend a black card membership

Pros: Cheaper than La Fitness, great deal with a great massage therapist (Kaitlin) who will come to the gym and give you a massage (quality massage at a very affordable price), 24 hour gym so you can work out whenever you want (even on Christmas!), can bring a free guest whenever you want if you have the Liberty pass

Cons: Equipment needs to be taken better care of/some of it really should be replaced/updated (this pertains especially to the Lebanon gym which is in far worse shape than the Palmyra location), smelly and dirty (once again more the Lebanon gym rather than Palmyra location)

Overall good choice if you don’t want to worry about the lunk alarm at Planet Fitness and need a wide range of equipment to work out and want to spend less than 30.00 a month. New York Fitness has a great deal of free weights compared to other smaller gyms.

Palmyra Location only (Not a member at other locations/never used other locations):

Pros-
Gym and locker rooms generally kept pretty clean.
Friendly / polite staff.
Enough quantity and variety of equipment to suit current user volume and aerobic / weight training needs.
Price (Currently paying $10/month initial fees, which were average for gyms offering one time membership initial fees)

Cons-
Equipment maintenance could be better. There are always a few pads, cushions, grips that need repair, adjustment, or replacement. What's so difficult about the staff inspecting the equipment once a day and the owners getting the stuff fixed instead of ignoring it for monthes? For example, 2 or 3 machines have had their hand grips slip out of position for months now. It would cost the owners next to nothing to reposition the grips properly.
Either the owners don't keep spare seat and pads &/or covers or their too cheap to use them. This is either poor management or nickle dime cheap asp owners.

The juice bar prices are outrageous.

The noise some people call music is horrible. It would be better if they just turned that mindless, thumping, way-to-loud broken record satellite radio off. Always wondered who decides what gets played at gyms and what if anything they base their choice on.

Please note that the above Con comments pretty much apply to every gym I've ever been in, although the one at Lebanon Valley College was a lot better but way more expensive.

Quality rating would be VG, if the equipment was kept in better repair. It would be E, if equipment was kept in better repair, juice bar was more reasonably priced, music was better or turned off,
