ASA is such an amazing place to learn to swim. My daughter has been going there since she was 6 months old. The staff is super friendly and the director Gary is always goes above and beyond.

This review is for Andrea the amazing instructor and manager at the academy. We have been with this acadmyfor over 10months and just bringing in my 4yr old was a drag. He used to cry and barely go inside water. We got lucky last month as Andrea volunteered to be his instructor and within 2 classes my son started to love swimming. He happily goes to the class now and actually looks forward to seeing Andrea. She is an amazing instructor and goes above and beyond to make her students get comfortable and then gradually get them out of their comfort zone. My son has crossed 2 levels in swimming in just 4-5 classes with Andrea. It's so true that a good teacher can get the best out of you and surprise you with what you are capable of.Andrea is absolutely amazing and we can't thank her enought for her love, guidance and help with our lil onem Thank you so much Andrea, you are the BEST!! KEEP ROCKING AND SHINING!

My kids have been going to this place for two seasons now. Today, both my kids had a new instructor who was calling my kids weirdos and losers. Totally unacceptable. My kids are 6 and 7 year old.

My kid had been there for four seasons, but still can not swim at all. Their lessons are 30 mins long, which has 5 mins warm up, 10 mins cool down, and coach may just rest during the other 15 mins, so you will learn as little as nothing every 30 mins every week. Plus, schedule a makeup class is almost impossible. Regret sticker there for four seasons!

This review is for Cole & the girl in the office with long dark hair who was able to get my son in for a last class (only reason I'm rating a 5). After a mistake on my end and not realizing our last session was in August she allowed him to stay after being pulled out of the pool by the Deck Manager. Definitely embarrassing for a little kid who doesn't understand what's happening and why he's being told to get out of the pool. I registered over the phone and guess I misunderstood when his last session would be. Happy this one time charge was an option.

The most comfortable staff. Teachers are so well trained n gentle with kids. My daughter is 3 and she doesn’t liked water or strangers teaching her swimming at all.. they accommodated classes n teachers so well, special thanks to Gary . Loved this branch totally

My daughter started her swimming lessons here, and now my son. The training is methodical, and the Passport tracks the skills needed to go to the next level, and gives the kids motivation by collecting a star at each skill learned, and a ribbon at each level.

Some reviewers mentioned the first minutes were "wasted" on diving for rings, and the last minutes were "wasted" on climbing in and out of the pool.

Clearly these parents are not exercisers, or know how to swim, or understand what the lesson is doing. The ring diving is for warmup. Just as every ballet class starts with pliés, swimming class also starts with some easy movement.

The last few minutes are for safety. It takes place at the middle of the pool where it is 5 ft deep, where it's the "deep end" for most little kids. That's where they must take off their goggles, not touch the bottom, tread water, and learn to get out of the pool without using steps. It's to train their upper body strength for that capability.

I cannot be happier with this swimming school. I have no plans to put my kids on swim team or anything like that. I just want our vacations to be more safe! No money can be put on safety.

My daughter been going to American Swim Academy for last two years. This place been so poorly maintained in the last few months. Most of the instructors are school / college going amateurs who don’t know how to manage small kids. They don’t pay attention to the kids and left my kid in the pool at least twice. I would not recommend anyone to join this place if you have small kids.
