The brunch menu was disappointing. The salmon bagel came cold, like it was just taken from the fridge, the salad seemed to rest in the same fridge for a few days. The burgers were pretty plain and tasteless.

Stopped by here while attending a conference at the convention center. This location is a short Uber ride away from the primary convention center hotels, but well worth the travel. We stopped in on Valentine's Day and weren't sure how busy it would be, but apparently we arrived early enough to be at the crowds. The atmosphere was upscale corner bar. It was not pretentious at all, and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. The food was good, as was the service.

For the price you pay, you would expect to get an high-end cuisine experience, but i am afraid it is not the case...
From the menu that show modernized ideas of French and Italian cuisine they forgot the most important thing in food, it has to taste good.
The wine selection we got was poor and small.
The service was lacking big, from dishes coming way too late, waiter that just couldn't care about the table, the only thing that was authentically French was the service.
Last but not least the the 3% charge added to the total of the bill for non-tipped staff, complete ripoff, if you cant pay your employs well why should I? add this to the food cost instead of ripping off your customers.
Great French restaurant . Most notable is the deep wine list, with a lot of old wines. A treasure.

10/10 experience. Food, drinks, service.

Wild mushroom risotto, seared scallops, ribeye, duck, kale, and the table bread - all 🔥

Highly recommend getting entrees and sharing

Couple bottles of wine recommended by the sommelier - 🔥

Espresso martini (ordered dark) and all of the desserts. To die for

Very impressed and will be back!

Drinks are good but haven’t had a good experience with brunch food yet. When asked how it was, we said ok except for the corn beef hash was cubed and all fat for both of us and the waitress just said “ok sounds good”. Maybe others have better luck.

Generous portion sizes of the Buffalo Wings which were so delicious! Miso Glazed Cod was definitely extremely flavorful, and the flavors are what you would expect at an American restaurant. Short Ribs were melt-in-your-mouth and extremely delicious; the brussel sprouts that came with were also quite tasty. Service was a bit more casual and felt not very professional at times but not too big of a deal
Very much enjoyed the dinner at Troquet on South. The restaurant is a short walk from South Station. The bluefish pate was marvelous as were the crab spaghetti and duck. I was interested in the 7-course chef selection, but the server wouldn't tell me the names of the dishes, just that they would be whatever the chef felt like serving that day and that the dishes change frequently. I don't if the server just didn't know what was on the menu that day or if he just didn't want to find out. But in the end, I just picked my own dishes. The ladies who came by my table were absolutely lovely and helpful. They checked on whether I liked my dishes. The hostess was wonderful. The service bobble was with my waiter. I sat at my table for a while and had to wave to get attention to get an order in. The complimentary bread is excellent. I'll be back.

The nachos were great. Nashville sandwich, felt like it was more breading than chicken. The philly cheese steak had a Lot of onions. Draft beer could be colder. Overall service was great, and food came out in a timely manner.

Amazing food the blackened chicken pesto sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had hands down. Beautifully balanced no one flavor overwhelmed the other and everything complemented it. We also had the street corn dip that was gone in 5 minutes and I did try out the Nashville chicken which was just as good. Their fries are cooked perfectly and the drink I had was incredible as well! Would highly recommend for the food! The service was a little slow but I didn’t mind.

Stopped here for lunch before seeing my first Red Sox game, and this place definitely did not disappoint! The selection of beer, and food was incredible. There is definitely something here for everyone. From burgers to fish tacos, to noodles, there really is something for everyone. Even plant based options. As busy as it was, the wait for food and drinks wasn't long at all. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The bill was about 100.00 for 3 people which honestly, being in Boston, I didn't think it was that bad. Will definitely come back here again.

A very large restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area. If you can’t stand the very loud music then outdoor area is your place. The service was great, food was served quickly. The tuna stake was so so delicious, the coriander 🌿 took it to the next level! Mediterranean salmon was so good with a lovely crust of za’atar, the tabouleh was okay-ish might be a better idea to keep it classic tabouleh. The lobster noodles was way too oily. Overall a very nice place for dinner.

Fantastic food and an absurd number of beers/drinks to choose from. My only complaint here is that they advertise themselves as a classic rock bar, and what they played was far from that. The serving of fish and chips was massive. Service was good, our server Cam was very nice and attentive. Cool area by Fenway! Overall great place.

Incredible food, service and drinks. They have a large menu for both drinks and food. Had a great time here ahead of the Red Soxs game.

Yard house is a good sports bar to go to before or after a Red Sox game. We were able to get in after a Saturday game and enjoyed their cuisine.

Food: The beer selection is excellent! It does not disappoint and their sizes are great. The food was great too! We enjoyed the wings and the chicken lettuce wraps. Both were on point with rich flavors.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is sports bar like and the waiters are attentive. Our waitress was personable and very helpful in giving us insight on the beers and menu when we had questions.

Price: The price here is fair and normal for a sports bar.

Parking: There was on street parking but we came from the game so we didn’t have to deal with parking anywhere.

Our server Kelsey was amazing. She was very warm and welcoming.

Food / drinks super fast, considering it was after the Sox game.
Strawberry Grey Goose  cockyail was delicious with its fresh cut strawberries at the bottom of the glass.
Watermelon margaritas are also a hit.

Starter - Spinach dip - pretty good. Blue cheese burger with truffle fries devoured it in minutes 😋 House salad...fresh!!

Classic French cuisine experience with stellar food and service.

Took a visit a few weeks ago to try their regular a la carte menu. We came in on a Friday night, and the place was quite empty. Our initial expectations were thus low, but the overall experience was very satisfying.

Before the appetizers, we were served with warm focaccia bread and a spoonful of French butter from a huge bucket. The housemate butter was inexplicably light and the focaccia bread was surely the best I’ve had in my recent memory. For the appetizers, we had the fluke crudo, salmon crudo, and the housemate ricotta, and our favorite was the ricotta. It not only came with a dazzling presentation but also the interplay between the ricotta, olive, and root vegetable chips was light and delightful. On the other hand, the highly-complimented seared foie gras was just okay. Champagne mango panda cotta did boost its umami, but there wasn’t anything special.

All the entrées we ordered were flawless: rack of lamb, duck two ways, an rye-crusted scallops were all cooked to perfection. My favorite was the scallop which had seemingly simple toppings. Mélange of morcilla, pomegranate, and delicate squash resulted in sweet, savory, umami-rich bites, and I kept going back for more.

For desserts, we had the vanilla crème brûlée and the dark chocolate soufflé, and they were both fairly basic. Yet, the overall experience was definitely more enjoyable than I expected, and I would highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for high-end classic French cuisines.

Best poutine I have ever had. Coffee and Just Peachy was good. I asked for my main dish to have eggs over easy but was a little sad that they weren’t runny. HOWEVER, I did love my visit!

Amazing experience tonight! Our server was welcoming and friendly and matched our goofy energy. Our drinks, appetizers, and main dishes were great! Great bar/restaurant atmosphere, especially to watch sports. Great proximity to the baseball stadium, shopping, hotels, etc.

The atmosphere there is good. Nice and clean. However, put 3 🌟 because the food options are not a lot for lunch at least. And the food is normal or ok for the burgers 🍔. However, the steak frites tasted really bad, it is over cooked while we asked for medium well. Also I could taste like ash from it. Not good and will not recommend. Chips with dip.. I felt like it is chips I could buy in supermarket, not worth the price either. Only thing worth to try is Steak tartare, it is interesting and tastes good. Took another ⭐️ off because the oysters 🦪 are not super fresh either. So I will not go to this restaurant again personally. Good luck..

Food is good with some nice choices on the menu but the atmosphere is a bit loud. We went for brunch and could hardly talk to the people at the table with us with the music so loud. I honestly looked around for a DJ since it was like being at the dance club. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was good but had no spice to it, the spicy pickles were hotter and good. I'd like to rate this higher if they can make some changes to the volume and a bit more flavor. Otherwise it's got potential and is a good place to go with friends.

On Wednesdays the Broadway does $1 oysters and oh my goodness were these oysters tasty! They were so juicy, fresh and delicious with a slightly sweet aftertaste! Highly, highly recommend coming here for these tasty oysters.

We also got a BW burger with bacon, really juicy burger with some amazing fries and a crisp pickle! Perfect combo!

Their spicy kale bowl with steak tips was really yummy and interesting. Our first time trying a crispy, multi-textured salad of buckwheat groats, Calabrian Chile, charred broccoli, and crispy kale. The greens were a little bitter, but at least it was a little spicy, which was just perfect for us.

Loved this place, we’ll definitely be back again! Love a good dollar oyster spot with some yummy food!
The place is a great place full of energy and good vibes. Great beers, 25 including ipa and wheat beers. The bartender was amazing and attentive.
The oyster, 3.65 a piece was ok with good condiments and paring with the ipa beer.
The steak and eggs it is a JOKE for the price! 24 US $ for 4 small pieces of meat cooked in the wrong way!
I requested without hashbrown but it comes anyway... oily! So for the price I do not recommend.

Loved The Broadways food. The menu is somewhat small but the selection is decent. The server was super friendly and attentive. The cocktails were delicious ( the peaches one was the best!)

We went here for our anniversary dinner and both the service and food were excellent! My favorites of the meal were the creme brulee the duck breast, which was the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend for a special occasion!

We got very lucky to get a table without a reservation on early Friday night. It’s a college young adult hangout. They sat us at the back. Had no idea the place was so big, didn’t look from the from outside the restaurant.
The spicy wings were good with fried onions sprinkled on top with blue cheese dip, very good. The baked were fantastic, they were generous with the butter but it good. The big surprise was the Tuna Poke in a large bowl. Never had forbidden ride before (black rice). Fantastic combo with cabbage, fried wonton and fresh tuna chunks. The dressing was excellent. We passed by the bar Saturday, there was a long line to get in with bouncers and all. Have to go off rush hour or you’ll have to wait. Staff were excellent.

Great food. Great space. Went for brunch. Was quiet as it was Christmas Eve. Sat by the fire. Started off with a Manhattan. The bartender sure knows how to make a good one. The Mac & Cheese fritters were an excellent appetizer. Had the Brunch Burger, which was very good and not tiny by any means. The home fries were nicely spiced and there was plenty. You definitely get your money's worth. First time there and would definitely go back.

I’ve lived in southie for the last 5 years and local 149 is definitely my go to for brunch. The breakfast tacos and fried Mac and cheese ball will literally cure any hangover. Not even kidding! Also the manager who is this very tall ginger is so hilarious and makes you feel right at home. This place has literally become the extension of my living room.

This place seriously rocks.

The atmosphere is awesome - MASSIVE space that is always pretty lively. It’s like sports bar meets cute brunch spot meets massive dining hall.

The drinks are delicious and strong. They also have some ridiculous options that are a great idea if you bring your crew.

I came for brunch and everything was delicious. I also really love the rotating donut - I had a bacon donut with a shot of rumchata and it was a surprisingly delicious combo.

The waffle chicken sandwich was epic and delicious. The breakfast pizza was well made as well. Those would be my two big recs - and a donut obviously.

Great service as well. Def stop in!!

Good French fries. Chicken and steak tips also very good. Meatball parm sandwich was NOT good. The meatballs were dry and flavorless. Good selection of beer. Ordered a tequila cocktail on the menu made with cinnamon. Big mistake, terrible.
