Such a great place to stay for a weekend getaway or special event. The area is peaceful and everyone is so friendly! They have so many great amenities like tennis courts, a planetarium, and all sorts of food options. I didn’t use the pool this time around but it looked really nice! The room was great, spacious and clean and the shower in my room was awesome!
There are also lots of walking trails around the lake to explore.

Great hotel, very comfortable and spacious rooms, excellent sleeping, modern bathrooms, fantastic food at reasonable prices for travellers. Staff most helpful and friendly 😊🇨🇦 only lost a star on location due to a 20min walk up to centre of town and railway station. Definitely would return here when visiting Jasper again.

I was there at the beginning of May so JPL was not that busy. Most of the lakes are not frozen but still covered with a thin layer of ice or snow except for Lac Beauvert. My room is located beside the lake so the view was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, but self parking could be tricky sometimes. The swimming pool was impressed since it can see the lake and mountains. There was lots of wildlife in the resort definitely worth to check it out. The restaurants are not as great to me, overpriced for what they served, either for quality or portions. That's why I took one star off.

Positives: rooms were very large. Hotel is pet friendly. Common areas are beautifully decorated and there are multiple outdoor seating areas with fires going in the evening. Very comfortable beds and bedding.
Cons: limited pool and hottub hours. Breakfast menu at restaurant quite limited. Walls are quite thin and we could hear each word of our neighbours conversation when they were speaking at normal volume.

Beautiful location on the lake with the mountain views. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Heated pool is an awesome touch to swim during the colder seasons. Hot tub and saunas are great add ons. Found rooms were sub bar for price paid. We stayed in lakeside cabins which I was told were recently renovated however it seemed like they just did flooring, wall paper and tile and called it good. The main lobby and building were beautiful. Property was taken care of well. Definitely more of a rustic vibe than a high end finish stay. But if you are there for the property, views, pool/ hot tub and amenities on site then it may be right for you.

Read a blog saying this hotel is newly renovated. But the only thing renovated was the check in lobby. Pool and hot tub look pretty nice, but were closed for 2 weeks due to maintenance when we're there. Room was extremely old, big blue stains on carpet. Housekeeping was not done properly, there were long hair in the bathroom. Air conditioning is very loud and vibrating the entire room even though we have ear plugs on. Walls are thin, we could hear next door sneezing and talking. We're also near the stairs, we could hear people coming in and out at night. Bed itself was quite comfortable though. Definitely would not come back to this hotel unless they do major renovations with their rooms.

It’s a Fairmount, not cheap and known for ‘quality’ so this review is based on that
We reserved 2 rooms, a king room and one with two doubles (no queens available)
Basic hotel room standard
Very clean. Nice additions like the glasses are real, wine glasses etc
Premium bedding - sucks! Not at all. The duvet is probably 15 years old, it’s clumpy and as a result we were freezing, even with the heat up. No spare blankets so I asked for a second duvet. I was shocked to be delivered a duvet without cover, and one the age that it was so you could see all of the inside of it clumped together, stains, everything. At $500 a night this really should not have been provided, and twice for that matter.
Housekeeper came in while we were in the hot tub for 30 minutes and through out our full Starbucks coffee. Response I received is they are instructed to throw anything away that is trash. Up for argument I would say… given one of the two was full, the second half full. Proper compensation would have been a Starbucks gift card, instead a complimentary coffee from their cafe that tasted nothing the same or of the same quality
hot tub is wonderful, it’s a shame it closes at 10
Bar stuff was wonderful, the lady that works the bar was great the first night, second night Nick, who was also awesome.
Food, I agree with the previous post, too salty! Meal is not aligned with price point.
Overall, it was a great location and I would stay there again if the room was on sale. But for a 5 star hotel, not the best.

We stayed one night was treated very poorly.
Didn't even give us a receipt till check out and it made no sense , we waited a hour for extra towels , we waited all day to go in pool and hot tub but didn't get to due to over crowded, the tub in my room was black stuff coming out and couldn't have a bath or shower only was offers 10 percent off my Stay with no sorry or anything I felt like very judged and disrespected , my kid was not happy and they didn't seem to care when I complained, paid 250 for one night and it was horrible experience.

There is a renovated side and a non-renovated side to the hotel so be mindful of that when booking.
It was beautiful and stunning to see the fire pits around the hotel. Beautiful touch.
On the start of the edge of town but close to all the amenities.
The spa was in the basement and offered a great selection of services

Room and amenities were adequate, however I unfortunately experienced some poor customer service related to security deposit for the room. At check in I was informed that as I was paying using a debit card a $250 security deposit would be required for my two night stay, which would take five business days to be returned following checkout. Six days after my departure I received a call from the hotel, informing me that there was an error in processing my refund, and it would be a further ten business days (15 business days total since the end of my two night stay) before I will receive my refund. Given the way that I was poorly communicated with during this, and the lack of faith it instills in their security deposit refund system, I would be very unlikely to stay at the Forest Park Hotel again.

Doors have huge gaps at the bottom and side so all the light and noise comes in from the hallway. There were people walking and talking loudly in the halls till at least 2 am on a Tuesday night. While the mattress is comfy, the pillows are horribly thick and stiff so you get terrible neck and shoulder pain. The hot tub is much too hot. You can only stay in for a few minutes then you need to get out. Everyone who leaves it is bright red. The pool towels are the size of a hand towel, it’s silly. There is no input button on the TV or remote. You have to find it through various tabs under the function button on the remote, which I eventually figured out after calling the front desk who told me that the TVs didn’t have an input and HDMI function. Every TV has this function, the staff is just not smart enough to understand it or care to explain it. Didn’t eat any food here as the Google reviews for both restaurants are bad. Would never stay here again.

I stayed 4 nights at this location for a staff conference, and overall my experience was good. The pool and hot tub area were clean and in good condition. The room was very nice and clean. The conference room downstairs had a good set up but was way too hot at times. The food was good, but I wouldn't say excellent. I did appreciate that they had snacks that were made in house and they appeared to accommodate dietary needs and restrictions.
