Very old hotel. There's only one iranian toilet in my room. Wallpapers are torn.

we were six people in a room for 2 nights.
rooms were clean and tidy but sometime were bad smell in the aisle. the fare wasn't good and i think that was a little bit expensive.
specially when i look back to the other many of cheap guest houses were better than there
The hotel has a large graden with few suites which are rooms. We were three people and they gave us a one bedroom suite which was very spacious and clean. The staff really tried hard to keep us satisfied and provide what we need.
The breakfast was simple but delicious.
The hotel was a really comfortable place to stay out and relax after a long day.
The location is a little far from the city center and in traffic hours it may take a while to get to the downtown but it may take maximum 20 minutes.
Also, it is situated close to a funfair which during our stay it was close the whole time, but I’m not sure whether it will reopen soon or not.
Room isn't bad but it's need to be better. Breakfast is very simple.

One receptionist offered us to go to takht e suleman, but in the end he wanted more money than we had arranged with him. Also he was a really aggressive driver and behaved agressively in general.
The hotel told us on the phone that they have a room and its 2 million rial.
When we arrived they did not have a room for us so we had to sleep in the hostel. There were no sheets, just wool blankets which smelled like 1000 persons have been sweating in there. The second night we were in the hotel and at check out we had to pay 3 million instead of 2 without them being able to show us a proper price list.

We made a phone call in advance to ask whether they have a free double room and how much it is. Contrary to their promise of having a free double room for 2 Million they had no room and let us stay in there hostel which was super unprofessional in service. Next day one receptionist offered us a taxi drive to takhte soleyman and come back to hotel with english speaking guide - turned out the driver and guide was receptionist himself (who couldn't speak english) the trip was good even without guide. The drive back was horrible and aggressive. In the end he lied to us about being there 1 hour longer than we actually where (which meant 50 toman more) and shouted in farsi (really hard to argue in A1 level of foreign language for me). Next night we also had to pay 100 toman more than arranged on telephone. Hostile environment because of the one receptionist - wouldn't recommend

Reasonable pricing. Of course it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel

Basic hotel, but it is 3* so what do you expect. Peculiar bedding system with the double bed - made up with four single sheets arranged sideways!!! Maybe they were short on double linen. Very basic breakfast (one boiled egg, half a cucumber and half a tomato + single white cheese sachet, single jam) but ok. It is about 2.5km from the main market so a good leg stretch.
Some accessories need to renew, have a nice place...

No private bathroom in the room, public bathroom looks awful, i was afraid of taking shower. Staff barely speaks english, you can pay in dollars and exchange money, but the exchange rate is horrible. Breakfast was good, primarly because it was in a different hotel, which i didn't undetstand and wasn't informed earlier.
No wi-fi.
Definately overpriced, it's not worth even half the price i paid.
Hotel is located very far outsidw from city centre of Zanjan. If u arrive by bus from the south, you can just drop of at the first roundabout. To the Bazar and any other Restaurant it's min. 4-5 km. Rooms are spacious and clean, but it's quite noisy. Don't forget your earplugs. The day we arrived they were playing very loud music on the first floor, that we could even listen to on the 4th. Aditionally front rooms are affected by traffic noise.
Staff is very kind and helpfull. English is just at reception spoken very well. But for all services beside calling a Taxi they charge you 2€ (we asked them to book a bus for us).
Breakfast may refer to a local 4 Star Standard, not an international one.
Restaurant has a limited menue. Dishes are OK but don't refer to a 4Star Standard.

Spacious and clean rooms with proper air heating system, good breakfast, fair internet, espresso available in lobby, courteous staff. After staying in 15 other hotels in Iran, this one deserves 4 stars per Iran's standards.

Many people are misunderstanding. Hotel Ghasr and Hotel Amir Kabir are different.
The front side is Hotel Amir Kabir that is a hostel. The back side is Hotel Ghasr.
The hostel is luxurious at reception, but the room is cheep. There are only two beds in the room, the toilet and the shower are shared. There is no towel.
But Hotel Ghasr is a 3 star hotel. very clean.
Hotel Amir Kabir is IRR 600,000 (USD 15), Hotel Ghasr is IRR 1,000,000 (USD 25).
Hotel Amir Kabir and Hotel Ghasr are same company. Hotel manager is very kindly.
The hotel was old and renovated, located next to a play ground, beds were so comfortable and clean, the room overall was ok and acceptable for budget travelers
They offered us a double-room for $40 in the afternoon. When we returned in the evening, they were suddenly fully booked (even though we didn't see any guests around). This was frustrating.

The room is basic but charges premium. Didn't stay. Go to Hafez.

Looks nice from the outside but don't be fooled: no WiFi (even if the staff tells you it does have), no towel and all the indoor room windows are missing, so be prepared to be woken up by other guests.

If you're a traveler a tent will probably provide a better quality sleep.

Beds and shower are OK though.
