Reviews

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here a week ago. This was actually our second stay here, as stayed here 8 years ago. Since then, the hotel has gone through a fairly extensive renovation.
The pros of this hotel include:
-large rooms with couches
-comfortable bed (this is very important)
-large, modern bathrooms with nice toiletries
-lovely on-sight restaurant
-convenient on-sight mart where the workers make great coffee
-safe on-sight parking
-nice staff
-maintained grounds
-on-sight gym, laundry, and pool
-quiet hallways (at least on our floor)
-20 minute walk to Disneyland (this is also a con)
The cons:
-20 minute walk to Disneyland (this walk is l-o-n-g after a busy day in the parks)
-heater in rooms don’t work, which is a MAJOR con (we experienced this same issue in 2015)
-it’s a walk from the lobby to the elevators
-lack of communication about loud protests ON PROPERTY (they are hotel employees so the hotel knew about it)

I travel frequently and I think this is the only time I’ve felt genuinely excited to give a 5 star review. It was earned. Lobby and rooms are beautifully renovated and don’t feel cheap. The bed was SO comfortable. Room was spacious. You can walk across the street to the Toy Story parking lot, do the security check and shuttle into the park and bypass security lines there. I might recommend this for busier days (weekends especially).OR, the walk to Disneyland main entrance is a straight shot down the street, just a couple intersections down. Easy. The only negative was the strike happening from 6am-6pm every day. Very loud. But this is a temporary disturbance and the staff were kind and helpful with any questions. I hope they get what they need from their efforts.

Booked 3 nights as part of a Costco package. The hotel is fairly close to the parks (15 min walk), staff is friendly and the room, comfortable. I had a small issue with the shower head, but nothing major, and or worth of a lower review. Some employees are on strike and woke me up at 6:45am with their horns and drums. It didn’t bother me that much as wife and kiddo didn’t wake up. Would stay there again, if I can get it cheaper than the hotels across the street from Disneyland.

Very nice job of renovating an older property. The rooms feel contemporary and are comfortable. More importantly, the bathrooms have all been nicely refinished. Housekeeping was fantastic during my stay with the room looking brand new when I returned every evening. Location is central to Disneyland and the convention center. The only thing that could use improvement is the climate control in the room. It was either too cold or too warm regardless of thermostat setting. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

With a quick 10 minute walk to Disneyland, incredible views of the park, breakfast lunch and dinner amenities, and a variety of rooms to choose from, the Sheraton is the perfect blend of family friendly meets Disney couple hotel. The check in process was very easy and you have the option of doing mobile check in/key. You can valet you vehicle or self park in a relatively safe parking lot. It’s a few steps away from CVS if you need to pick up some water, snack or medication. The rooms were very nice and clean. Nothing but great things to say about this hotel.

The hotel was okay, the service was okay, the best part of this hotel and the service was in the coffee/gift shop that they have. I would give them 5 stars. Everywhere else was okay.
The restaurant at the hotel was doing pizza night all week (set menu) we did it one night it was really good, the second night we went in with our two young children and I asked if we could order off the menu and was told no but we could walk the 2 minutes to the lounge and order off the menu that is prepared by the same kitchen. Anyways we went to the lounge, I asked if we could get a high chair and they said no that is really only for the restaurant. The other waiter working there I think felt bad when I was trying to hold by active 10 month old and eat and he went and grabbed one for me from the restaurant. Why it was such an issue the first time I am not sure, especially being a Disneyland hotel, I am sure we are not the first ones staying there with a young child. They also have no room service.
We asked the front desk the best way to get to Universal Studio and her response was "we don't offer shuttles or have any information about that"
The room was okay, a bit small if you get a room with the two queen beds and have two kids. There new bed frames are not great if you have a baby who is just learning how to walk or crawl because they will hit their heads. When I called the front desk to ask if we could switch rooms to one a bit larger I was told she was sold out. Its not their fault that my little one was hitting her head so I just asked for extra pillows which I received, when I checked online that night and there was a room available with one queen bed and a fold out couch so that there was space in front of the couch that I could book online. The customer service in the Hotel was the same everywhere, they answered your questions, no one was rude, but no one was actually helpful or provided any sort of good service.
I would not stay there again and I wouldn't recommend it either. Other than the gift shop/coffee shop the service was not that great. Location was okay but there are closer hotels.

Excellent stay Near Disneyland!
Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The room, gym and pool areas are clean, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. Plus, the prime location near Disneyland added an extra layer of convenience to our trip.
We had the pleasure of being assisted by Krystal during our stay, and her warm welcome made a great impression. She went beyond by seamlessly combining two bookings into one, making our stay much more convenient (instead of having the needs to move rooms). Krystal's exceptional service truly enhanced our experience at the hotel.
Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Overall this is a good hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the walk to Disneyland was very convenient. Unfortunately we were woken up by protesters both nights of our stay. The first day we didn’t let it to get to us but the second day after being at Disneyland until midnight and getting woken up at 5 AM on vacation, we were so frustrated. If you have kids I would recommend a different hotel while the protests are going on. And if you are an early riser and don’t mind pan banging and blow horns at 5 AM this is the hotel for you. If it weren’t for the protests, we would have had a fantastic stay.

Came here to park for an event, found a good parking spot and ate good food. I was happy until I came to the exit and even though my ticket was validated I was still being charged. I tried explaining to the supervisor that they validated my ticket and there shouldn’t have been a charge and she was super rude and hostile… I asked for her name and she refused to give which is fine, but if you’re gonna he extremely rude you should at least own up to it.

This place is absolutely amazing! At first, I was like "why haven't I come here before, because I'm a fan of Disneyland and have lived in California for 15 years! When I got here I was surprised to find a bunch of unique stores like the House of Jerkey, which carries Camel Jerkey! (What? How?) and experiences like Fire Loop VR (some of the best VR spots in Southern California) and Mission Escape Rooms above, great Boba like ChaPlus! Really good BahnMi! And they host a lot of events throughout the Year like Taste of Japan, which had over 10000 people attend. Definitely worth checking out if ever visiting Disneyland!

I love how clean the park is.
It's better to plan out your day, though. And if you are looking for specific merchandise, it's better to purchase it early rather than later. On busy days, I recommend the genie plus for the lighting lane. But it's recommended to plan your day accordingly.
This park is mostly recommended to those who are nostalgic about the past.
Great for the little ones as there is more for them to do.

What a magical experience, we had 5 amazing days at both parks and were able to ride every ride. We where there Monday-Friday and I did notice that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday where definitely the less busy days. My almost 3 year old was able to ride almost every ride and he loved the trip. Your kids are never to young. Get there right before rope drop and you will be able to do 5-6 rides with 5 minutes or less wait time.

Truly magical! There are so many rides and things to explore in the park. Of course the food is a little pricey but there are some good deals to be had if you look. Getting to see all the Disney characters is always so fun and the atmosphere is just joyful!

Disneyland is a magical place for both kids and adults. There are so many rides, shows, and attractions to enjoy, and it's easy to get lost in the magic of it all. The park can get very crowded, so it's best to go early in the day to avoid the lines. I also recommend taking a break mid-afternoon to rest and recharge, so you can enjoy the park during the evening hours too.
Some of my favorite things about Disneyland: the rides, the shows, the characters, and the atmosphere.
The park is just so magical and enchanting. It's easy to forget that you're not in a fairy tale.

Super convenient location for a Disneyland trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was modern, spacious, clean, and quiet. The pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast had a little bit for everyone. Convenient parking for an extra fee. We will definitely stay here again!

Best trip ever. It really does make a difference to get the genie plus pass. I had weekday visit it was a little less crowded then weekends. Everything is still overpriced but that's expected. Food and drinks are allowed in the park so if you don't want to spend so much take lunch and snacks.

Such a great time. Happy to share the experience with my good friend from New York City, and 2 of her grandchildren!
The cares of the world can be left behind for a bit, as your inner child frolics at the Happiest place on Earth.

A hidden gem! There are many good food options, shopping and games. We enjoyed window shopping after lunch at Bubba Gumps. Maybe next time we will go to PF Changs, or Cheesecake Factory, or will spend some time with our daughter and her two young boys and go to California Pizza Kitchen. There is a lot to do,
A nice change of pace from the crowds at the big malls.

Fantastic and love the fact characters walk randomly around the park greeting you we bumped into lots of characters just in passing. There is always something going on and it's brilliant lots of rides and attractions and great photo opportunities everywhere a fantastic holiday or even just a day out.

Best day of my life!!!
Used the whole 16 hours that we could! Did most of the rides! Loved the themes of the rides!
Great services! Would do it again!
I loved that you could take your own food in!

Amazing visit. Disneyland quality and attention to detail is on point. Def a great place to visit if you have little ones.
If I had one complaint is that there are too many people here so it’s hard to get anywhere.

We went on vacation to Disneyland for 4 days and we were hungry so we decided to go to California pizza factory. We walk in as a male worker unknown title walks by says nothing at least 3 times this happens no one at front podium finally he walks by again and I asked can we use the restroom he says yes and keeps on walking. We went to the restroom came out we were looking at menu at least another 10 minutes passed no one said a word to us. I do not understand how a place can actually stay in business if you don't address customers??? Sorry to say we walked out we didn't get noticed or offered to sit down, order or nothing. I don't think we will be going back sorry to say.

This park is reliant on cell phones, which is frustrating. This drains your battery, so you need a power bank and limit videos and pictures being taken if you plan to stay for the day. The app includes a map, wait times, and booking of genie services. The Genie service was booked for a good portion of the day for many rides despite arriving early. Some rides had availability for Genie plus but required an additional amount of $20 per person. Wait times overall were over 30 minutes for rides. Some rides were organized better than others with a staff member to answer questions and direct you. There are some shaded areas, but most of the park is directly in the sun. Bathrooms were decent with changing areas for young children. Dispensers for feminine products were available and free. Food at Daisy Cafe was fast service and tasty. Some tables in this area did not have umbrellas for shade. Donald, Pluto, and Goofy were in and out of this area, which the children enjoyed as they ate. Parking was confusing as we arrived to one lot but directed to another area.

Is within walking distance to Disneyland which was great! The rooms were clean and staff was on top of things. Toilet had some sort of flushing issue because it kept flushing on its own. Breakfast was included but not excellent, we didn't bother to eat it the final morning.

i would give zero stars if i could. absolutely worst customer service. i parked there tonight and when i was leaving i lost my ticket i didn’t realize that i had. but when i called the attendant for help she was absolutely the most vile and rudest person i have ever had to talk to. she screamed at me over the speaker as i was trying to explain to her what had happened and she wouldn’t listen to me. and honestly after that it sucked even more to pay the thirty dollar fee obviously, obviously i didn’t mean to lose it like that’s so embarrassing. but for that attendant to sit there and scream at me like i was dumb and should’ve known what to do does not help at all. i tried calling the managers office but there was answer. very disappointed and my feelings are really hurt.

07/21/23 Had dinner then a concert at the House of Blues. I forgot to get our ticket validated so no problem in paying for our parking which was $18.00 and this was 11:21 pm. The problem is you pay for parking then you get to the exit and all gates are open you don't even have to scan your ticket so what was the point of paying for something then did not have to scan ticket because you could just drive right out.

Great service! Clean, comfortable room. 50% off upgrade to a suite was perfect for me and my boys so we each had our own bed. Breakfast is fantastic! Pool is not huge but very nice to cool down and then relax in the hot tub. Short walk to Disneyland... about 10 minutes walking briskley.

Excellent base for Disneyland. Stayed here 2 nights as part of family vacation to spend 2 days in Disneyland. Hotel was clean and the room was really spacious (we had one with a king size bed and bunk beds). Breakfast had hot and cold items with good selection of cereals and breads, plus fresh waffles. Would definitely stay again if visiting the parks.

Replace the park that was local to the convention center for us to walk after eating. A little bit of a challenge with the text to pay capability on mobile. Was able to easily take care of payment with debit card on the exit line. Earned five stars for me because when I called the phone number when we had trouble with the text to pay function, the gentleman that answer the phone was extremely helpful and very easy to talk to.

Clean hotel and fantastic customer and room service. Close to Disneyland for those who are planning to go there. 13 minutes walk to Disneyland. The staff are really informed about Disneyland to help guests. Great breakfast till 10 am. The rooms are spacious, airy, a sitting sectionand great with kids. The pool is fantastic, both warm and cold. Great gym and variety restaurant attached to it with room service. Close shopping 🛍 centers beside and across the street. Desert Palm Hotel, a place to be.

It's Disneyland the gold standard for park quality. Clean, nice, fun, great food. The cost is high but compared to other parks it's leaps above. It does get hot so bring a water bottle they have refill station. But all food places will give you free water.

We stayed here in May 2023 and it was an overall great stay. 100% I would recommend to any of my friends. The staff were friendly. The location is great as it’s only 10 or so minutes to Disneyland + there are tons of restaurants around. It’s also close to the Garden Walk (Cheesecake Factory!). The rooms are very spacious with plenty of places to put luggage that won’t get in the way. The free breakfast was more than satisfactory to load up before a gruelling day at the Park. There are some nitpicks for me though that bring me down to a 4 star review. The hot tub is small and was often full of people. The breakfast, though more than good enough for me lacked selection - there was always an egg and potato option, but didn’t have items I would normally see at breakfasts like having more than 1 type of tea, more than 1 yogurt flavour and only 1 flavour of jam (and no peanut butter). The hotel is also conveniently located beside a bus stop and 7-11, but with that you get a lot of homeless and mentally ill people hanging around (but I never felt unsafe).

Parked Here Last Night And The Parking Was Full But able to find one. The parking lot provides a space of parking but closed off some parts and they were full of spots and I really needed to find parking spot the parking lot really made me find it the B1
Parking really provided a-lot of spaces and the others were full otherwise the parking lot was great in terms of the location but mostly I struggled to find one and it the ones on the other floors were full but I when I exited I had lost my ticket in the car maybe it fell down the Guy there told me to pay while I was finding it he said no pay no leave I had found it in my jacket and the guy let me go for more than 10$ wow I was very mad that the fine 20-30$ If you had lose it never again.

Great little hotel with the best price I could find for a separate sleeping area for kids. The barn door to the bunk beds meant we didn't have to go to bed when our little one did. Close to Disney (10min walk) and had everything we needed. A simple breakfast, a mini fridge and microwave in the room, pool and hot tub, great staff. Not a luxery hotel but clean and comfy! We would definitely stay again.
