Beautiful walking path and scenic river views. Nice shops and restaurants and was surprised to find parking nearby.
Beautiful views along the waterfront with plenty if shops and places to eat or sleep nearby. The Georgea Queen farry boat also docks along the waterfront too, which is excellent for the photo ops. My only tip is that parking can be annoying to find. There are metered places to park, along the water front, but spaces are limited
A fabulous stroll on the river mixed with shopping and eating experiences.
Excellent place to watch the 4th of July Fireworks! Beautiful every day as well!
So enjoyed walking the river front many times as it was easy to head to the river front shops & restaurants from our hotel. Watched huge cargo ships, Georgia Queen and ferries. Beautiful Talmedge bridge shaping the skyline. Waving girl and Olympic flame statue.
Nice place to get your steps in for the day and enjoy the street .musicians playing the saxophone. Or just people watch on one of the ma y benches along the way.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week at the Forsyth Park Inn, a wonderful and historic 1890’s mansion directly across from (and with a great view of) the beautiful Forsyth Park and famous fountain installed in 1858. The passionate and extremely helpful Inn manager, Dwayne, and staff (including Lib, Gary, Stuart, Cynthia and Sharon) provide excellent hospitality. What a fabulous team! Fantastic complimentary Southern breakfasts are prepared by their Chef, Lorenzo, and served daily in the quaint dining room or on the Inn porch overlooking scenic Forsyth Park. There are complimentary wine and appetizers served daily in late afternoon, followed by delicious desserts around 7:30 PM. The entire Inn and rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques and art. Savannah’s beautiful and easily walkable Historic District contains many exceptional historical homes and museums, art, music, people, food, restaurants and culture. The public transportation accessible and mostly free or very inexpensive. There is a bus stop conveniently located in front of the Inn. We have vacationed in Savannah many times. The Forsyth Inn is a true gem and most highly recommended.

What a beautiful place! Small and intimate without it being too small. The rooms are spacious and bright. It's a quaint house. It's located directly across the street from the park ( the fountain side). No parking spaces tho, which is sad. Staff was lovely. Definitely will recommend!
Great view. Beautiful walkway with lots of shopping and food/ drinking options.

Room eight should not be called a room, it should be called a closet. Here was barely room to walk around the bed. There was a literally nowhere to even set your suitcase to open it up. I balanced mine on the chair but it was halfway hanging off. My husband’s was on the floor practically under the bed. The bathroom was tiny and no place to put your toiletries. Brown stuff running down the side of the toilet, although the inside was clean. Something that looked like blood or ear wax on the wall behind the toilet. At our request they did come and clean the toilet but the stuff was still on the walls.

We booked that room because it came with its own balcony, but it’s in the blazing sun and there’s no umbrella so if it’s in the heat of the summer that would not be useable.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was great. Free happy hour in the evening and free breakfast in the morning.

Location couldn’t be better, views were amazing.

They jack up the prices during holidays.

They asked if we were celebrating any special occasions in an email after we booked. I told him yes, it was our anniversary. However, they didn’t wish us a happy anniversary when we arrived, but they did send a link where we could buy an anniversary package for an extra $250. Gee thanks.

Unfortunately, we would not stay here again due to the room not meeting our expectations. The whole place needs a lot of maintenance.
Couldn’t be happier with my experience at the Forsyth Park Inn! Look no further if planning a trip to Savannah, this is the place! The staff is absolutely top-tier - kind, friendly, and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were so kind to allow me to propose in their beautiful courtyard and were so accommodating in helping make it happen. Shoutout to Kylie, Gary, Mary Jo, and Dwayne for always making us feel welcome and like part of the family. Each room in the Inn oozes historic Southern charm. The breakfasts were fantastic, super tasty. I found myself looking forward to them every day! We also really enjoyed happy hour as an opportunity to relax, enjoy the view, and socialize with fellow guests. Having these as part of the experience really added to the value of our stay. Forget staying in a regular ol’ hotel - stay here for a truly memorable Savannah experience.

Super staff. Everyone there is awesome. The breakfasts were fantastic. Very charming parlour and porch. Our room was small but it was satisfactory as we didn't spend much time in it since we were out seeing Savannah. The proximity to the park and the historic district can't be beat. HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Everything about this experience was awesome! The historical charm was great, but the staff really made our stay special. They really make you feel at home and comfortable. We enjoyed cocktail hour with the other guests and the breakfast was excellent 👍. We had no problem finding free parking. We stayed in room 8, which had an amazing balcony!

This is one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at. The location, right on Forsyth Park, is ideal (we didn't have a car, but heard no complaints about parking from anyone who did), with a stop on the free DOT circulator bus right at the inn. The house itself is a Victorian gem, very well and characteristically furnished. The front-office staff were welcoming, charming and very helpful. And the included breakfasts, different daily, were little hand-crafted masterpieces, to say nothing of the lagniappe happy hour and late-dessert spreads. The parlor cum dining room was a great spot to socialize. It was uncharacteristically too cold to use the garden or veranda, but in warmer weather they would be appealing.

Long story short, we would gladly return here on our next visit to Savannah.
Older 3-Star Hotel within east walking distance to historic downtown area attractions. The room was clean. The common areas of the hotel have the smell of an old building. Overall the experience was fine.
Parking is a nightmare! With that being said everything else was outstanding. Mrs. Barbara is one of the hotels many gems. She runs the Breakfast area in the morning and is the most helpful and polite human beings I have ever met.
Parking is confusing and honestly irritating. The elevator was out during our stay and me and my fiancée had to climb five flights of stairs to our room. The hotel would not allow a door dasher to my room so I had to meet him in the lobby… definitely expected better. Spent way to much for this experience.
My first stay at this hotel was when covid was in full swing, it was a wonderful experience, but sadly you can only get lucky so often. I recently visited in June. The room was pretty gross. The tub looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The back of the furniture chair and around sides of bed literally caked with dirt. It wasn't a huge deal granted you really only are around to sleep. But nonetheless it's disappointing granted the amount you are paying. I made the mistake of bringing a white thick oversized towel with red hair dye stains. This towel doesn't even begin to compare to the thin hotel towels you are given. Housekeeping went ahead and on the last day of my stay took my towel. I followed up several times and was told several times someone would reach me. I have yet to be reached out to. I also sadly had a package accidentally mailed to the hotel. Yes, entirely my fault it costs $21+ to have it mailed back to me. Which is astronomical. I have stayed in cheaper much nicer hotels that mail you items left behind or in the same dilemma and it's a courtesy. If I had one word of advice save your money and stay somewhere else. I've had better experiences at a cheaper price.
We stayed in room 316 for one night. It was clean but carpet needed repair and cleaning. Tv did not work. We had to park in Embassy Suites for overflow parking at $30 two blocks away. Staff was friendly but I would definitely not stay here again especially for $288 per night!!
Overall I liked the hotel. It is a good value to be downtown.
Happy about the pool hours. Breakfast was great.
The staff needs to do a better job explaining the parking situation. I was quite upset about it. Late at night there are no spots. There are 2 small signs that attempt to direct you to an alternative site. The alternative site is great but I had to call the hotel for better directions. They should give directions at check-in if you have a vehicle.
Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. Breakfast was very good, rooms were very clean, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I used the pool several times and loved it. After walking the town it was refreshing to walk into the hotel lobby where they had ice cold water or lemon water and chocolate chip cookies waiting. Only down side to the hotel is the parking. They use a parking garage that is fairly close by.
My 5 star rating was a sure thing before I even got into town. I was contacted via text. Confirming my stay and offering to answer questions. Very welcoming. Once onsight, the hotel fit exactly as I pictured; matching the area it was in. Room was well laid out. Desk staff, the 2 I dealt with were quality. I gave 4 stars to "location" solely because of the walk from the hotel to the parking deck. Oh, and my remote didn't work. Probably batteries. But no biggie, it's good to get up every now and then.
