We did the paranormal tour here with our Girl Scouts...it was phenomenal.. nice and thorough, went at a good pace with lots of time for pictures or your own investigative equipment. They even held the tour for a few minutes because of traffic from an event nearby....so thoughtful!! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Toured the historical Queen Mary - found the history and the day pass to tour her outstanding. Took the Steam and Steel Tour - while you can explore that area - below deck - of the ship on your own - found the tour and tour guide to be excellent. Well worth hearing about and being taken down into the operations portion of the ship. For years - I thought of The Queen Mary as just and old ship - now I have such an appreciation for the history and enjoyed the day pass. A Worthwhile tour designation while visiting Long Beach and Southern California.

Very disappointed, I was looking forward to exploring the ship and a relaxing stay, turns out several attractions on the ship were under renovation so we were unable to see them, there were 2 events happening a wedding and birthday party.
Food was good at the onboard restaurant.
Problem was at around 11:00pm we were awakened to a fire alarm and had to evacuate the ship, after the all clear we returned to our rooms only to be awakened again around 3:00am for another fire alarm/ evacuation there were no ship personnel at the evacuation point to let us know anything.
We returned once again and decided to cut our stay short.
Upon checking out the front desk personnel had an "oh well" attitude no apologies and no apparent care that we were leaving
Can't say anything about the tours because we cut our stay short and didn't get to take any of the ones we had already paid for and didn't get a refund either Very disappointed

Our family did the Haunted tour, and we Absolutely loved it! Our tour guide was amazing at story telling, and we also got a 1 on 1 story told by a house keeper, after the tour, with picture and video proof of her experiences working there. It was overall an amazing experience and will definitely come back next year for another tour!
My husband and I only stayed for one night. We hoped the weekend would be romantic. When checking into the hotel, the concierge was not attentive and did not tell us about the nuances of the ship-hotel, where the restaurants, bars and exhibits are. She also tried to charge us for parking when we didn’t have a car there. The night at the hotel turned out to be noisy as there was a Halloween party across the street until one in the morning. Instead of worrying about the visitors, we were given the closest room to the party and we didn't get much sleep. I would like to note that the price for the hotel, breakfast and dinner does not meet the requirements and is very overpriced. The breakfast is very poor especially for $30 buffet. Dinner was $60 buffet and included dry chicken, cold and unseasoned beef. Overall feels like missed opportunity for something very unique and romantic. I do have to mention that engine room exhibition worth a visit and visiting the ship was interesting, but I can’t recommend spending the night there.

I loved my stay on the Queen Mary and will definitely stay here every time I go on a cruise out of Long Beach. We booked 2 rooms to accommodate our family. My adult kids arrived before we did and the front desk allowed them to check into both rooms. Super convenient and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and I love the historical charm. The bar was fantastic and the service was top notch. The Shaqtober fest was happening during our stay in the parking lot in front of the QM and our kids had a fun time. Breakfast was delicious. We opted for the menu rather than the buffet. Service was prompt and friendly. The hostess suggested we take a look at the Lego display. Fantastic suggestion. We didn't have time for any tours but next time for sure! Staying on the QM the night before our cruise made embarkation a breeze. My husband got a prime parking spot in the parking garage and walking from QM to our cruise ship was super easy. I can't wait to visit again.

Spent a lovely night at this place. The rooms are said to be haunted! I did have an experience of getting locked in the bathroom twice in my room. Friend had to let me out! We went on one of the ghost tours which was a lot of fun! We had breakfast coupons in the morning and the place was delicious! I think it's called the Promenade cafe? We also had dinner at Chelsea's chowder house . There is a lovely art deco bar to get drinks in, not a lot of snacks for happy hour though. Ghost hunting later in the evening after the tour was over! Really a lot of fun! If you're making a trip to California and you're into the ships, history and or ghost hunting, I highly recommend it! Supposed to be the most haunted ship in the world!

We did the paranormal tour that is 2 hours, but the whole tour took from 20:45 till 23:15. We had a real fun guide (forget her name), she had good stories, really passionate about the boat and showed a lot of cool place. We didn’t she anything paranormal but another person had a ghost meter and found some “haunting” spots. We also visited the room that is the most haunted (you can book for 1000$ a night). Good tour, not cheap (70$pp) but worth it!
