This hotel was wonderful. We started our stay at another hotel just down the street but they didn’t have air conditioning so we switched. The Maritim was the perfect choice. Not only did it have AC but it was very clean. It also had a pool. The employees were very helpful and the location was amazing. The hotel has an underground parking garage (you must pay, it’s run by the city) which is very convenient and is at the end of a dead end for drivers (making it a less busy street). The grounds to the right of the hotel are amazing and adjoin a historic park that has beautiful walking trails and fountains. If you go left instead, you’ll find a long street full of shopping and restaurants. There was also another fountain, a beautiful church, and some lovely architecture to be seen within a very easy walking distance. I wish I had more time to visit as there were so many things to do. The beds were about the same as any hotel in Europe, which is to say not very good. I would absolutely not recommend the pull out sofa for an adult. The rollaway is a better choice. But still, that seems to be the same throughout Europe. There was also easy access to public transportation. As for the hotel’s breakfast, there are a lot of choices close by but none as fast as a pre-prepared breakfast (except the bakeries). However, the price for the breakfast when added to your room was higher than the meal was worth. I would choose the bakery for something fast or a local cafe for something slow and either should be less expensive. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Our flight was canceled and this is where our airline put us. This is about 20 to 30 minutes outside of the airport. Although the hotel was very nice, the room was very nice. We did not get to look around outside at all because we came late in the night and left early in the morning. But very nice looking hotel

Despite frequently staying in various hotels due to work, Maritim always offers the most memorable experiences. A resident of Bad Homburg for four years, my apartment is conveniently located just five minutes away. My father, visiting from Brazil, stayed at Maritim for a month with his caregiver. The staff's exceptional friendliness, the suite's comfort and charm, and the delicious cuisine ensured that my father now insists on returning to Maritim whenever possible.

I, too, have begun to enjoy this 'paradise', finding it the perfect retreat from routine, a refuge during the hot summers, and a place to indulge in quality time.

Situated in one of the most picturesque areas of Bad Homburg, Hotel Maritim offers more than just a place to stay. It provides a uniquely hospitable environment with suites that offer enchanting views, state-of-the-art amenities, a delightful pool, and a well-stocked minibar. The restaurant's mouth-watering menu and park view is another highlight.

I owe a great deal to the entire team for their support when work demands on me long hours of intense concentration. The Hotel Maritim provides the ideal blend of high professional standards and warmth in a human-centred atmosphere.

A special mention must go to the amicable and helpful manager, Silke, and the receptionist, Frederico, for their exceptional service. My heart is genuine with Maritim, and everybody deserves to experience the same pleasure.

There’s room for improvement.

Pros:
The staff is very nice and helpful, good location, Rooms are spacious, good breakfast.

Cons:
No iron in room. No coffee or tea in room. It feels a little outdated. Pillows are uncomfortable.

Overall good experience but it felt a bit barebones.

I always stay here when visiting the area. The pool is fantastic. Breakfast is OK rooms are nice, missing facilties to make coffee in the room is only complaint. Iron room "Bugelzimmer" on floor 4 by the stairs. Staff very helpful great location near park and main street / restaurants
