Exceptional stay in Jerusalem. Nice, quiet rooms, a very historic, lovely and thoughtful atmosphere and design. The breakfast was superb. Thanks to the owners and their team with Juliet, Arafat and others for your kind and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay so much and will come back when we visit Jerusalem again.
There is a huge construction site behind the hotel with heavy machinery in use from 6 am until evening. Unfortunately the staff didn’t find it useful to let us know about that nor was it mentioned anywhere else. Try to get a room facing the busy street to get sleep.

I have spent a couple of nights in this hotel and I have enjoyed a lot. It is very well situated, good price and nice staff members, very helpful.
When I arrived I had access to the room very much which is always appreciated after travelling.
I liked it so much that I have added an extra night to my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I've stayed there 1 year ago and it was a very nice stay.
Clean rooms and very comfortable (not bug but sufficient).
The breakfast is very good and you have lots of food variety.

Very welcoming family run boutique hotel. It was a terrific place to return to at the end of the day. Quiet and tucked away from the bustle of the old city. Can’t wait to return and can’t recommend it enough!! They took great care of our little group.
A family-owned hotel and restaurant located at an excellent location near Damascus gate. The hotel is renovated, but maintains its old Jerusalem heritage style. Clean rooms and excellent service. The restaurant serves delicious traditional dishes with a modern twist. Highly recommended.
The reviews don't make justice. The place is fair for the price. Huge rooms. Nice entrance, sofas, and deco. Nice local breakfast. Air conditioning. Toiletries. Garden. Clean and cosy. Staff has been so helpful. Wi-Fi perfect.

Breakfast is splendid, a buffet with a wide range of Israeli cuisines as well as continental. We checked in late midnight but their staff was there to smoothly facilitate our checkin. Wifi was smooth.

The staff is super helpful and friendly at all times. Also the location is perfect as it is only a 5 min walk to the old city. The breakfast is simple and rather traditional but very good. All in all we had a great stay which we enjoyed very much!!
Service was very friendly and location is very good. Breakfast was a little light and the wifi at times could be a little slow. However this is all justifiable because of the price and it is definitely a good deal.

Thé person at the front office treated us like garbage, we asked him if with our friends we could have a room on the same floor but he didnt give even a regard to our demand. We asked for a bigger sheet because our baby sleeps with us but this Time again we had to go see him twice to see our wish granted and lastly we had to do our bed ourselves !!! Doing our bed ourselves un à hotel Is just like going to a restaurant to cook your own food or to a concert to karaoke.

The hotel is in really in bad shape, really run down and in need of major renovation. The room was moldy as well as the bathroom. The lobby was crowded with old outdated furniture and tiles. I mean it was so bad i checked out the same day I arrived and didn’t get a refund, i didn’t care, it was that bad. I checked in to a near by hotel that had all of the accommodation of a 4-5 star hotel and my vacation was saved..
I don’t recommend this hotel unless you looking for a cheap hotel and don’t care where you sleep or stay.

Everything was fine except the staff literary opened my locked hotel door 3 times in 2 days, this is not acceptable, you knock and you ask plus there is no purpose in literary opening door just to see “if you are there” as it was during late or very early times hours before check out, what’s going on?
It made me feel very insecure about leaving my valuables unattended with this type of behavior.
The staff is not helpful either, you are just one more customer they won’t care or see again.

Extremely pleased that I stayed at The David Story. Clean, Central, Stylish hotel with comfortable rooms and great staff. Mahmood in particular was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommended.

Modern hotel placed in the new district of Jerusalem. Nearby, there Isn't so much to do but the hotel offers body Gym and a very big swimming pool + other activities provided by other suppliers. Rooms big enough with all the comforts. Nice food at dinner and on breakfast
I had a suite. It was spacious and clean, but the glass bathroom door was inconvenient for nighttime visits without disturbing my wife or vice-versa. Big bed but quite stiff. Breakfasts were ridiculously amazing! Staff was perfect! I forgot to bring earplugs. Nightlife, there is noisy.
We have a wonderful days there. The owner was super nice, friendly and always available to help us! Super recommended!
I liked the old fashioned style of the hotel. But the rooms are a little bit too 'rocky'. There are rock walls close to the bed and it's easy to hurt yourself. The restaurant is awesome! Gooood, delicious food!

Pretty good quality hotel for this area. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was good. Nice neighborhood with decent balcony view. The area is relatively quiet. There are many good restaurants and convenient stores in the area too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

What a gem! We had an absolutely great time and very positive experience when staying in the hotel. Located across the street Mamilla shopping center and minutes away from the old city Jaffa gates, this place provided everything we were looking for in our Jerusalem stay.

Nice breakfast spread, cosy rooms, good facilities like chess, table soccer, table tennis 🏓 and swimming pool and sauna. Only regret is that pool opening hours are quite limited
Everything was great. Fantastic hospitality and the rooms design were unique and nice the beds was also comfortable. Decent breakfast. Amazing service, caring for everyone and very thoughtful. Haven’t seen a hotel service like this it’s been an amazing stay.
This hotel was great! Perfect location, working AC, comfortable and clean with a hot shower. The owner was wonderful, kind, and helpful. The rooms are small, but the price is low! Definitely recommend!

Location is outskirt of old city. Quite peaceful and very nice view. Rooms are definitely clean and nice. Food are good and service are definitely perfect. Cons is the swimming pool closed at 5pm and the spa is always full book.
I was recommended this restaurant and so thought i would try it out - i was very pleasantly surprised by the setting, service and, of course, the food - which was incredibly nice (the aromatic herbed & spiced meat dish that came under a crust of pastry) and which i never actually ordered, but was glad i hadn't.

I was there for the day for an event, and it was a very clean hotel, and the food and service were great. I didn't spend the night there, so I can't comment on the rooms.
We are always staying in this hotel in Jerusalem. It has a very friendly staff, great restaurant where you can also have a coffee or beer. Rooms are beautiful and in Palestinian style. The hotel is close to Damascus gate and the old city. Recommend for a stay in a place where you feel welcomed and at home.
Cosy authentic family runned hotel, close to the Damasque gates of Old City. Ideal location to explore Ierusalem. Nice Arabic cuisine in restaurant, open dayly by 10:30. Rooms have historical look, high ceilings, thick walls. Good sleep!
This place is spectacular. I really love it there. The food was really good, place is clean, staff is great, service is great, etc. I really recommend this place. I know is expensive but it is worth it. You go wrong. I stood there for 3 days and loved it. Thinking of going back there again.
I've never actually stayed at this hotel, but I work next door and I've had a few opeople come up to me to complain about it. Apparently, guests are having trouble getting into their rooms because the lock codes are often wrong or just don't work at all. And the hotel staff never answer when trying to call for help. Very poor customer service
Fantastic place, location and restaurant. Beautiful old style rooms with modern bathrooms and amenities. Raed, Rober and the staff treat you like royalty.
It’s the second time staying in this lovely hotel. It’s a room en-suite only with no elevator but it’s only one floor. There is no room service & reception is there only during the day. Make sure you aren’t booked in a room that is opposite a nightclub which we were. I haven’t slept for two days, besides the hooting that they love in this country. Making the noisy rooms soundproof would really help a lot. The bedrooms & bathrooms are modern & spacious. Hotel Noel is very central with lots of restaurants & walking areas around it near Ben Yehuda. Recommended besides the noisy rooms.
Mostly the hotel was good. The location is great, quite close to the old city. We had a quiet night. The proprietor is kind and experienced. The rooms are small but quite functional. A shower is a bit messy. There is a small refrigerator in our room. There are only two drawbacks. One is that there are a lot of stairs, which is challenging with suitcases. The big drawback is the mosquitoes. We killed 15 in our room, and had to wake up frequently to kill the next batch.
Great location to visit Jerusalem (old town as well as jaffa road and the market hall all within walking distance). The host was very, very kind and nice and also have us good advice on how to visit mount olive. We loved that the tram was so close and that we could easily walk to old town. The owner also let us leave the luggage in the hotel for a couple of hours after our check out which was very kind.
The room was a bit small (had to fit the luggage under the bed :-)) and the walls are not very thick, but you can hear other guests sneezing in the neighbouring room.

The David Story Hotel is a hidden gem in Jerusalem! We booked it for before and after our day trip to Petra, Jordan. It is directly across the street from where one catches the tour bus to Petra. The receptionist is the nicest, most helpful person ever. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.
We stayed here for 4 days and everything went fine. Location is very close to the Old City and also near to the Pick-Up locations of most of the travel agencies. Price is a steal as it includes breakfast already and the room is huge with own living room in it. Only issue I had in my room is that the floor drain in the bathroom must be fixed as it has wrong elevation that traps the water on the bathroom floor. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this Hotel.
My stay at the Kaplan Hotel was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly - wi-fi, heat (February), hot water. The location could not be better - right off of Jaffa St in a quiet spot, a short walk from the old city. The hosts, two brothers, were warm and helpful and always ready to answer questions or to give advice or to just smile and chat. I highly recommend Hotel Kaplan!
Rooms are small but the price is great! Our host was awesome and always a good morning welcome. Coffee/tea around the clock. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!
We stayed at the hotel for a few nights in January, 2023. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early in the morning after a very tiresome journey. A gentleman at the reception kindly let us check in well before the scheduled time so we could rest a bit. The breakfast was great, rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the fantastic Old City.
Nice stay in the heart of Jerusalem The room was very beautiful with a modern design, and there was a nespresso machine in the room with cookies and mineral water. Breakfast was served at a nearby cafe, which was a fantastic location with delicious food.

Nice central hotel. a minute walk to main jaffa street.
There was a strong smell of sewage coming from the parking lot to the hotel.

I just had my wedding here last week. It was AMAZING! The food was the best in Israel. The staff were helpful and thoughtful every single minute. We stayed in the Canadian suite after the wedding and it was massive with a great view. The hotel is a perfect little hideaway, surrounded by nature in the middle of everything still in Jerusalem. I would definitely recommend staying here or hosting your next event here.
While not in the luxury catalogue - for that cross the street and open your wallet - this boutique hotel is situated on the second floor with comfortable rooms which are surprisingly luxurious. I found it relaxing, with friendly staff, close to the old city, convenient and altogether to be recommended. No comment about cars, as I was without one. There is no need to worry about food as there are plenty of opportunities close by.

This is a decent hotel, you get what you pay for. It is in an excellent location with everything on your doorstep, many cafes, restaurants, tram stop and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the old city of Jerusalem. The owner is a nice guy, however.......there was one thing that put a black mark on our stay though, noise.

Some of this work continued (loudly) late into the evenings, and you could normally hear hammer drilling around 8.30am, one evening at 7pm.
On our last night we heard cleaning in the hallway outside our rooms around midnight. The hallways had constant noise, chatter, phonecalls, banging etc. For anyone who likes to go out all day and maybe come in for a nap before going out for dinner, no chance.
I write this review so people will not get caught out like we did. Hotels in Jerusalem are not cheap and people deserve the honest the service they pay for.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the train station and the old city, both in walking distance (20 and 15 min respectively).The room I stayed was simple, but renovated and well maintained. There are elements in the property like studs on the floor to prevent any “slippery” incidents. Nathan and Eli are the best hosts I have ever met. Heart warming people, with lots of humor, who instantly connect with their guests. Always there to share tips and advice on how to navigate, and get to understand this multi-cultural city. Above all, they care about their guests’ well-being. Will definitely stay there again, the atmosphere in this hotel is amazing!
Beautiful hotel at the liveliest and most charming spot in city center jerusalem. Great indoor design and most importantly, personal treatment from nice stuff. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see jerusalem or just have a nice night in.
I'm more than happy to recommend Hotel Noel. I found this hotel accidently through Instagram and I couldn't believe it will exceed my expectations. I took a room with a balcony and I can honestly say I thought the room is a bit bigger but - it didn't matter. All was super clean, and new, and inviting. Can I come again?? :) Ohh and we were on a walking distance from every place we wanted to go to! Unfortunately we arrived late so didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the city but we will be back, definitely!

1. This is not a hotel but an apartment building. If you want to get the hotel experience this is not the right place for you. There is no one at the small counter past 8 PM and if you get stuck with one toilet paper (we got only one) you need to go down and get one.
2. We ordered the suite, in which the bath was clogged and the room was to be flooded within a minute. The treatment was lazy and we had to keep asking if there is any progress, last we were given the option to downgrade to a smaller room (which price is lower and we had to ask several times for a relative refund).
3. Regular room structure is poor. If anyone is to stand in the hallway, he can see right into the entire room and bath.
4. Some suggested that the hotel is noisy. Let me put this straight, this is a *real* hassle. On Thursdays nights the pub at Cinema Hotel across the street is *very* busy. Although the vibe is nice and cool there is no getaway and it feels like you're right in the middle of the party and the street traffic.
However:
