Great location for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan thanks to the proximity to the metro (1 stop to Grand Central), plus good price for the area. Safe neighbourhood and convenient supermarkets nearby. We (4 people) stayed in a loft with a sofa bed and used the kitchen extensively (equipment provided). Unfortunately the sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable. Service was ok, not always super responsive. Would visit again.

Stayed 2 nights between Christmas & NYE. Was fantastic! Short walk to main streets of restaurants, shops & bars. Hotel bar & restaurant is great too. Room was large however did not have coffee/tea which was odd but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend.

Such a nice hotel! One of the best venues to have a wedding at! The rooms are nice and the hotel has excellent service. In a very safe environment. I love the cafe downstairs.
This hotel was the perfect resting spot for my husband and I on a one night trip to Brooklyn. The whole hotel feels warm and welcoming and the furnishings and fixtures are top notch both in design and quality. We had a quiet room and slept wonderfully on the comfortable beds. The showers had awesome water pressure as well! The staff was helpful and attentive and I love that we could grab a delicious cappuccino and breakfast bun right in the lobby. We can't wait to return!
Can I give 0 stars for service, deceit, lying?

We stayed here a few years back and returned because of the location, which is actually back. Walkable to City Point and many subway stations, Manhattan Bridge.

Checked in, got off the elevator, walked toward our room. Carpet in the hallway was SOAKED. Bathrooms towels laid strewn in front of our room. Okay… gross. Did someone’s bathroom flood? No warning or acknowledgment.

That evening, around 8pm, we return to the room to shower and get ready for an event. The water from the sink and shower is ICE cold. Called the front desk, “we know. Run it for 20 minutes. The plumber just left”. Ok, sure, we can do that. Running the water off/on for the next TWO hours. Keep calling the desk. The woman is SO DISMISSIVE and rude. Not one apology. Continued to mislead us, “run it for 20 minutes”. Asked to speak to the manager, “he’ll be here in the morning”, she said. Asked for his name. “You’ll know”.

The next morning, we go to check out at the desk. Younger man was very pleasant. We were told management would reach out to us about compensation. Of course, we have not heard back since December 2nd. We have emailed the hotel. No response.

Never again. Next time, we’ll stay at a hotel run by a corporation, so someone will take accountability for subpar accommodations & incompetent staff.
This place is hardly a 3 star so I'm not quite sure why it's listed as a 4 star hotel. The service and communication (or a lack thereof) from most of the staff would barely qualify for 2 stars. The room phone wasn't working in our room the entire time, and neither was the coffee maker. Literally got hung up on twice by the front desk when I called from my own cell phone WHILE I was staying there in my room when I asked for a coffee maker. Since we left, we had to call multiple times over 4 days back-to-back regarding an item we left for someone to finally lie to us that it wasn't there - I can't say I was surprised at this point, just glad it wasn't that valuable. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. We'll never stay here again.

Pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Best pillows ever!!! The most satisfying and the reason I will always return to the Ace in Brooklyn is a gentleman by the name of Mike in the bar area. Always ready to make my NY experience perfect with food and beverages. This LA woman will always return! Alma Arias

Stayed here for one night only but wished we stayed longer.

The room we got was bigger than any other hotel in Manhattan and at like half the price.
Had kitchen, 2 TVS, a small patio and a nice bathroom (no bathtub though).

The only minor issue is the location. Minor because it's just 2 blocks from the subway and you can be in Manhattan in less than 20 minutes.
If getting on the subway isn't an issue and you want a more budget friendly place than any hotel in Manhattan then I'd definitely recommend this place.
USD 350-400 per night will get you

16m2 room
Medium clean
Free water
AC not working
Lobby is so over-crowded you could not even sit to work
Breakfast not included in this price.
Staff was friendly.

I left earlier and crashed the couch of a friend cause it was more comfortable.

I guess most other NYC hotels will be the same. Don’t see any reason why I would ever spend my money on sth like that again.

As all the other reviews have said you come for the view and you stay for the view and you leave after you’re done with the view. During the day is not as spectacular as night and there are angle issues with the patio outside. The best view is sort of hidden behind the bottles at the bar. The attitude thing is real not sure why that is but it’s worth it if you come here on a nice Sunday, Funday with the friends to do some photo taking. Beautiful hotel. For the price the cocktails should’ve been a little bit more on point, but they were doable.

Saturday December 9, 2023, my son and now daughter-in-law had their dream wedding at this romantic and unique establishment. Dear Peter Lawrence this could not have happened without your tremendous assistance. There were a few bumps at first but, when you stepped in everything went smoothly from that moment onward. My family and I learned in our travels in hospitality the good people step up and make things happen when you just ask.

The Wythe is a most special place and everyone there makes sure your event unfolds exactly how you dreamed it to be. We had guests flying in from around the world including leaders in industry, not bragging just true, so it was imperative this go as planned. Well maybe a little brag!

Everyone @ The Wythe from Deshayne at the door, Anastasia and Cheryl at the front desk and the mighty Jack was there to help in any and all ways to make this dream wedding happen for these two amazing young adults. We cannot thank you enough!

Head over to The Wythe if you're in town to have drinks and dinner it's fun, funky, romantic and the food is spectacular!
While there we learned the company my wife works for, the largest cosmetic company in the world, had an amazing holiday event there for the NY office. Small world.

The welcome event on Friday night @ Club Blondeau was amazing and fun. Credit to Yamil the manager of this unique club with making this happen exactly how we pictured it unfold.
Thank you Yamil you crushed it, Go Bills!

The wedding event on Saturday was romantic, charming and the best ever! The service unsurpassed, the food prepared to perfection and did I say service, yes I did, but so good it needs to be repeated. Everyone is so all in @ The Wythe and now I understand why my son and daughter-in-law dreamed to marry there. If you are planning an event of any kind, be it corporate or wedding, birthday, any event, please visit and consider The Wythe, trust that is where they make your dreams come true.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and happy holidays to all.
Thank you, JV

Peter, at the front desk, is extremely rude and unhelpful. He used the term "that's on you" when I asked for help, and every one of the staff claim to be a manager and don't let you ask for help - avoid this hotel at all costs.

EDIT to cover the reply from the business:

Peter was extremely rude, and I didn't ask for any information - just a courtesy call or door knock on the door if the person is in the hotel. I have stayed in hotels around the world and understand guest privacy completely; the person at the front desk didn't want to do the work themselves - I didn't need any information or reply or even confirmation that the guest was there.

In fact, NYPD was willing to go to the hotel, and knock on the door for a welfare check, but fortunately I was able to find a simpler solution - no thanks to the surly front desk staff who refused to let me speak to anyone else.

P.S. You misspelled "Management" in your reply; expected for a group that has employees pretending to be managers.
Absolutely wonderful staff and property! From the time I approached the front door until I checked out, everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lobby was well appointed and comfortable and the view from my room was outstanding. Plus, the room was clean with in-room filtered water and a very comfortable bed. Additionally, the property is located near restaurants and a riverside park, allowing for easy access to local photo ops and activities. Will definitely stay again. Overall, 10/10 and highly recommend!

I recently stayed here and had a great experience overall. The hotel has beautiful views and an interesting vibe. Very rustic and bougie. The staff were super nice and helpful. I fell sick while staying there and one of the house keeping ladies got me tea for my sore throat which I truly appreciate. The only thing I didn’t like was how shallow the sink was LOL not a big issue but sometimes design gets in the way of functionality. I had food through room service and I totally recommend the chicken tenders. So crispy.. just yum!! Location is great and I didn’t have any problems with noise. I will mostly staying here again when I am in NY.

big thank you to Christina who upgraded me and my friends room! the hotel is beautiful inside very clean and cozy, the decor is also great. the room was fantastic and I loved the shower as well! truly have nothing to complain about, other than you have to walk through a bridge to get to the hotel if you're coming from Manhattan but other than that 10/10 recommend!

So glad we stayed here. My wife and I brought our 4yr old to the city for a weekend adventure. The WV was the perfect home-base. The room was large, clean and comfy. The balcony that overlooked the city was our son’s favorite part. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will be coming back when the weather warms up so that we can take advantage of the pool.
We found the staff friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and clean. Our room was cleaned daily, and the bed made up. The location was good for a visit to the city. Manhattan was a short walk over the Brooklyn bridge or two blocks to the subway. We arrived at about noon, while checkin is not until 3:00. The receptionist offered to hold our bags until we returned. The neighborhood has a few options for food and drinks within walking distance.
For a 5 star hotel, save your money on this one. The hotel has a cool interior but because of the open design of it, you can hear the water hammering and pipes in the walls making annoying and loud knocking noises all throughout the night, along with sounds of water dripping and faucets of nearby rooms being turned on and off. The bathroom is not private at all, instead everything echos from there. Also, you either get piping hot water or freezing cold water - no in between. Separate from that, I tried calling the hotel 5 times to get a copy of my receipt for transactions that were not mine, totaling almost $300. The representative was rude and unhelpful. I am still waiting to be refunded for one of the incorrect charges. Will not be staying at another 1 Hotel. Classic example of aesthetics do not equal quality.

Side note (kind of funny) - there was a stone there for you to put any clothes on top of it that you would like to donate if you overpacked. Who's doing this? And let’s hang it up with the paper hangers - no pun intended.

I proposed to my girlfriend on Thanksgiving this year. The service was absolutely fantastic: prior to my booking, the concierge reached out to me and offered some services for my proposal, of which I chose the massage and the romantic setup. I want to give a thank you to Anggie and Daniela, who helped me schedule everything and were absolutely fantastic.

The rooms were very comfortable. They did feel a little small: I wish that the king bedrooms had a table or a desk in it. Everything else about it was great though. We got breakfast ordered to our room and it was extremely nice.

We ate at the Leuca for thanksgiving dinner and went to the rooftop bar after the proposal. Leuca had a nice ambiance and our server was very friendly. They were very busy during the Thanksgiving dinner but were still attentive. The rooftop bar had a great view and is a great place to relax with friends and chat.

Overall this felt like a luxury stay that was well worth the money. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and loved it. The hotel is in safe area of Brooklyn. There is a market down the street to get groceries/essentials. We stayed here for 4 days. One of the room attendants was amazing. All I know is that she is Dominican with blonde hair. She went above and beyond to get us what we needed and gave us great recommendations. All of the staff were great! We stayed on the 1st floor in one of their studio apt. It was very comfortable for my daughter, husband, and I. The kitchen in the studio is stocked with kitchen needs. Hotel is super clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again.
Though only for one night, we enjoyed staying in a beautiful hotel close to our daughter's apt in Brooklyn - great amenities, comfortable bed in a spacious room with a lovely view, and very friendly staff. We will be back! Parking across the street was convenient, though it would be nice to have more than a 10% discount on the fee.

Loved everything about this hotel !
Location is amazing-many Cafes and Restaurants in the neighborhood, The property is very impressive and stands out from a distance. The check in included Valet Parking was swift and the room is lovely: very nice decor and a Great (truly 5 Star) Shower. 2 small remarks:
1. The bed was quite small
2. Not enough free power outlets in the room
Bottom line 👍🏻👍🏻
View from the Balcony of NYC Skyline is a BIG bonus

This hotel is very beautiful, well designed with beautiful combinations of Hard concrete, steel , wood and natural accents of plants. Enjoyed the visual aspect of it. The rooms are also very thoughtfully designed with a lot of beautiful and elegant touches.
Staff was friendly and pleasant, highly recommend staying here very cozy design and sexy lighting through out.
I had a great room with an incredible view of the Brooklyn Bridge, unfortunately the 7AM construction crew on the adjacent lot woke me up from my late night drunken adventures which really mushed my plans to sleep in and get a bit of rest away from home. I wish I would have been informed of that upon check-in then I could have requested a room with a worse view but quieter.

Service and Location is the best. I definitely need to say the front office stay (esp. the one guy forgot his name) was so friendly and welcoming, he deserves an appreciation. The rooms are newly remodeled but the quality of the remodel was pathetic but look very modern. You will realize when you stay :) and relate to what I meant. The rooms have the best views. I stayed for a couple of days and it was easy to get in/out to anything within the Brooklyn downtown. No free breakfast in the morning but have complimentary coffee and complimentary water bottles in the room.
I'm a Marriott kind of guy, and Aloft is my kind of chain. Love the boutique style of rooms and hotel amenities. Vibes are more chill and less corporate than other brands. The hotel is near a lot of subway stations, so it is easy to get to Manhattan for any tourists visiting NYC. The hotel has a nightclub on the roof, so the higher your room, the higher your chances of hearing the bass to "Drop It Like It's Hot" bumping in the hallways.

BEST hotel in Brooklyn by far!!! We (+ many of our guests!) stayed here for our wedding weekend and couldn't rave about the property enough! From the attentive service to the incredible rooms/views/ambiance and incredible dining options, The William Vale is everything and more. They made our wedding weekend the most luxurious experience every step of the way. HIGHLY recommend staying or hosting a group here!
First all the house keeper kept knocking on the door when it was only 10am. I open that door and it wasn’t pleasant. My sister informed me that they did give this before on her first visit with her and my daughter so I was prepared and sure enough she came knocking on the door and my face showed it all I didn’t need to say a word. She apologized several time that’s rude for housekeeper to knock on the doors when it’s not checkout time. Sure you had a list of the rooms that is already empty. We left here and went to Radio Hotel much better.
Such a beautiful hotel, and the restaurants are truly amazing. Jaffa is my favorite, the pickled mussels were some of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We had to wait over three hours past our set check in time for our room to be ready, however, which was disappointing as one of the reasons I picked this hotel was the “flexible” check in. The rooms are definitely tiny, but they’re so pretty! The beds were comfy too.
My overall experience at 1 Hotel was good. The hotel was beautiful, and staff were very nice. My minor things that I would like to have improved is that my room phone did not work during my entire stay Every time we needed something or to order room service, we had to call the main number and we were transferred to the kitchen or housekeeping etc. Secondly, I noticed our bathroom was not 100% clean upon arrival. The sides of the mirror were dusty, and the actual mirror was dirty. The faucet handles had white toothpaste spots and the shower had a little hair stuck to the wall. The room lotion and soaps dispensers were dusty as well. I cleaned and wiped everything down myself. At brunch on Sunday my server was great, but I had someone's hair in my eggs. Manager came over apologized, replaced the meal and removed off the check. The hotel is very expensive just wish things could have been a little better. Staff is amazing and kind tho.

I got free coffee. Really amazing crew. Personalized service. Imaging having hotel doors opened and closed by reception staff... dressed to the nines in casual... you managed to personalize a very special anniversary for us. We left the suite at the Four Points to stay at Ace. Immaculate. The earthy free big bottles of toiletries, smells of cedarwood, cinnamon, bergamot, citrus oils. 5 stars all round.
The place is great with a great atmosphere. The staff is coordial and welcoming. Room service is upon request - I like it! Great TV selection with game mode. There's actually a pool table right by the entrance. No complimentary breakfast.
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. We didn't stay in a room, just there for the day. Check out Harriet's Rooftop bar after 5pm, amazing views of Hudson, Statue of Liberty, and Manhattan! Had a drink at The Osprey Bar, go see the bartender Diego! Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!
I would say this definitely isn’t a four star hotel.

The location is horrible in the sense that it’s right on a 6 lane road and is quite noisy likely in all the rooms. But the subway is at least close.

The people at the front desk really seem like they’ve never been in a hotel before. The idea of needing to request your room to be cleaned ‘for environmental reasons’ is laughable. Obviously it’s just for saving money, otherwise they wouldn’t put single-use plastic bottles in the rooms. If you want to be environmentally friendly with cleaning, offer guests to choose when to change towels/sheets and use eco-friendly cleaning products.

Floors were sticky in our room so we always wore socks.

The bed was comfy enough (although small) and the shower worked so our well-being wasn’t overall too negatively affected. Just absolutely zero luxury and if you’re paying more than $250 a night it’s a complete rip off.

I was there for a 10/21/2023 wedding and stayed for five days 10/18-10/22. Abbas made many promises to relocate me to a better room that was not on the ground floor.
He FAILED miserably to do anything including an apology for his failures.
I was on the ground floor next to a busy street both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
A 10% discount for the wedding party was supposed to be applied and never was.
I would never stay there again!
Was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Loved the little breakfast setup they had and the fact that it was all day. Every single staff member I talked to was so ridiculously nice, they even let us pick which floor we wanted to stay on. Room was nicer than I expected and the bed/pillows were so comfy. The location is also excellent with everything you need a short walk away.

Quite a fantastic hotel for nyc. The rooms don't have full sized mirrors and something is seriously wrong with their elevators (getting stuck, not responding, trapped in the elevator for 15 minutes, etc.) so I deducted a star. I like that soft pleasant music plays throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar has great views, but closes early (11:30pm). Everything feels very "new". The free water they give you in the rooms is teeny tiny, and they seem stingy with giving more.
We fell in love with the location and atmosphere of this hotel. We were in town for a wedding and the hotel was walkable to the venue. It’s in the heart of the action, and you can find food, bars, people within a few feet of the hotel. There is a gorgeous rooftop bar in the hotel with amazing drinks and views. This did make the lobby a little busy at times while people waited for the elevator for patrons who were not staying at the hotel. But we didn’t mind. We stayed in a room with a balcony and enjoyed the views every day. The room was a bit tight, but you’re in New York so that is to be expected.
I came here for a wedding, not a stay. It was a great wedding. The space for the service was in the lobby I think but there was no cross traffic. The reception was on the mezzanine, drinks were held on the veranda with an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge (as one would expect from the name). The drinks and food were great, the service very professional. Everything ran like clockwork. I would recommend this to anyone considering a no nonsense (but awesome) wedding in Brooklyn.
We enjoyed our stay here. The Manhattan view was worth the extra charge.

One slightly jarring thing was the room service - you have to request it. As we were staying for 6 days this was annoying and we would have just preferred for it to be done each day as the towels needed replacing, bin emptying etc. It’s not offered automatically under the guise of saving the planet which is superficial cover for saving money.

The hotel bar is very laptopy - not a problem but it makes it quite soulless and also impossible to get a seat.

Overall I would stay here again.
The room was 580 a night and it was an absolute shoebox. There was zero room for luggage and no closet. I felt completely ripped off. The one hotel wasn't working and we were there for a wedding and it took as long as 10 minutes to get to the restaurant at the top of the hotel because they control who goes up. I was really taken back by how unpleasant the experience was. I really do not recommend this hotel, not worth the price
Well located hotel in downtown Brooklyn and so close to Manhattan without the chaotic vibes. Walking distance to waterfront park, Dumbo, and a short car ride or bike to Williamsburg.
The woman who checked me in and the gentleman working Valet when we arrived were amazing. Super helpful, friendly and kind. Any interaction I had with the cleaning/maintenance staff was also very positive.

Almost everyone else we I interacted with at the front desk were rude and unhelpful. We loved the location and wanted to stay an extra night, but because I booked through a third party they were so dismissive and just kept telling me to call them. Even when I just wanted to know what the nightly rate was, straight ignored me. When we left. The manager on duty handed me the keys to our car and told me to collect it myself (it was valet and 50usd a night) because he was alone.

Room was average. Well spaced with king size bed. Bathroom was okay, lighting wasn’t good but shower was nice. We weren’t picky about room cleaning as we were only there three nights and we travel with a dog. Overall

I wouldn’t discount this place because of a couple poor attitudes. It was a bit
Overpriced 400/night for the amenities and quality of the rooms. But for easy going travellers who want something central, plan to be on the go a lot, but aren’t looking for anything over the top extravagant, I would still recommend this place.
These rooms are TINY. Tiny for New York standards. More than that, they are uncomfortably small. They’re so small you have to hang your garbage outside your door. My suitcase barely fit in the room and good luck putting more than a single toothbrush in the bathroom. Reception staff were more interested in their hair cuts than checking me in. My bed was lumpy and had a hole in one side. This hotel tries to be cool, edgy and hipster as a cover for just being a terrible place to stay. There are plenty of other options so do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Zero stars.

Christina M. who is allegedly a manager is extremely rude and discriminatory! She was yelling at me in front of staff and other guests claiming that my service dog was not a real service dog and threatened to have my dog stay somewhere else and gave me attitude when I asked to speak to upper management. She also told me "good luck" when I told her not allowing a service dog in was illegal and that I would be speaking to my lawyer and her boss. Her co-worker Peter who also was a "manager" used the excuse that she wasn't feeling well that day to defend her horrible behavior. There was a big group of us here for a wedding and many guests complained about her horrible attitude. The venue space for the wedding was stunning and the event team was amazing! Christina was far from amazing.

I also paid $1200 for a loft that claimed to have a pull out couch and it didn't so my friend slept on a small couch and they didn't even bring extra pillows or offer a discount/credit. overall horrible customer service. Very disappointing. The staff seems young and inexperienced in the hospitality field, a training on dealing with customers and overall conflicts needs to be held for them.
Surprisingly affordable stay in NYC. 2 minute walk from the subway station, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Downstairs lobby is a bit of an eye sore, but you can get some Marriott points from this location.

Easier hotel to get into via subway with bags than Manhattan.

So glad we booked this hotel for our final overnight in NYC.

It's just a block from the river in Williamsburg, an area about as hipster as it gets. The L train into Manhattan is just a couple of blocks over. And the G line is also a short walk.

The service is impeccable.

We arrived just after 7am, dropped off our bags, went out, and returned at just before 4pm to find our room ready and bags already taken up. On check out it was the same: they looked after our luggage until we went for our flight at about 5pm.

The staff were friendly and helpful whatever their role and whenever we bumped into them.

The room was large and east facing (amazing light for sunrise). The king bed was comfortable. And the highlight was the wonderful shower (little uneasy about the one way mirror behind the minibar!). All of the toiletries were excellent and there were robes, an often overlooked item.

If I had one complaint it would be the soundproofing. We could hear people in the hallway, some banging from the adjacent room, and water being run somewhere.

Of the 9 hotels & motels we've stayed in on this trip, Wythe Hotel is top. This would definitely be a hotel we will return to on our next NYC visit.
I would not stay here again, nor recommend it.

My room had no air conditioning on the first night. I was moved the next day, but the process of talking to the front desk was not an enjoyable one. Not friendly, not kind, not understanding or apologetic of the fact that I had no air conditioning when it was 80 degrees and raining (super humid) for my stay.

All three treadmills in the gym were broken. The restaurant was apparently out of stock of everything, and the serving staff had no idea where to find the things you must have had in stock (looked for red wine in the fridge then said you were out? clearly didn't know the menu or how to serve your guests.)

There was no blow dryer in my first room, no iron in my second. I had to ask to borrow one from a coworker who was staying on the same dates.

The floors in the hallways look like they weren't vacuumed the entire time I was there. Luckily the rooms seemed clean, but common areas were lacking.

I loved the Ace Hotel in Brooklyn! The staff was dynamic and so helpful! The room was a delight. It was larger than most and eclectic in design! The housekeeping staff was so nice and took great care of us. The lobby area was warm and inviting.
Stayed here and had an amazing time! Woman at the front desk was so helpful with all the accommodations I needed with my puppy! Nearby parks feel super safe even at night. Room was beautiful and felt like home. Cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I spent three nights at the Wythe for a wedding that was taking place there. We had a Manhattan view king room on the fifth floor.
The hotel is nice inside as it had the restaurant (Le Crocodile) and because we paid extra for the view.
However, if it weren’t for the convenience of the wedding we attended taking place there, I would’ve been happier elsewhere.
To start, the room floors are concrete and no slippers were provided. We had to call and ask for some to be sent up. We also called asking for an iron and ironing board that didn’t arrive until we called again asking where it was hours later.
When ordering room service for breakfast (twice) they forgot items or not what we asked for.
The worst part is the noise. Being on the fifth floor, we were right under the bar that is in the hotel. All you hear all night is the screeching of the chairs being moved, slamming of what I’m assuming were kegs, and music (noise occurred after the bar closed and started back up as early as 5 AM). The hotel is also neighbors with some kind of venue that has extremely loud events late into the night.
Overall, for the price we paid, I expected better and was not pleased with not getting any sleep due to the noise.
This hotel is decent, you get what you pay for. Not too many bells and whistles but I was not expecting much. It was affordable and clean. Cozy, as the website suggests. But as far as amenities, there are basically 0, again, which is shared on the website. Location is great if you are going to Barclays center.
This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s beautifully decorated with well-chosen original art all over the place, the environment is magical, the rooms are really nice, comfortable beds, spacious, lovely bathrooms. Helpful staff. Highly recommended, can’t wait to return.

WOW! The Horton has it all-Location, Views, a great cafe and restaurant, and amazing staff. Usually staying in Manhattan, we wanted to try something different. Glad we did! Love the area-close to water-the ferry-and shopping. Entering the hotel you get a cool and modern vibe-people are in the lobby/cafe area working and hanging out. There is a great restaurant associated with the hotel where you can have lunch or a glass of wine if you arrive too early and your room isnt ready. We came into town for my birthday-the hotel took our bags to the room and left me a birthday card/gift. These little extra steps are what help this hotel stand out! Clean rooms-on the smaller side but well appointed. Amazing views of the water and manhattan-I couldn’t have been happier with my stay.

The Wythe is a MUST BOOK for your wedding!!!! I fell in love with the venue (garden terrace and main hall) the first time I came across it on Instagram and never looked back!! I could not be happier with how everything turned out leading up to the wedding and day of!

Abijah and Cassie were super communicative throughout the process, Lisa did a wonderful job at our menu tasting (which they set up as an elegant dinner in the main hall to really 'experience' the atmosphere for the wedding). August was super helpful in coordinating the room block and welcome bag distribution. The entire staff was friendly and super accommodating. Check in was smooth, in room dining was fast and matched the incredible aesthetic as the room and rest of the hotel!

The day of was magically, the venue is truly the perfect place for a hotel wedding that is both aesthetically pleasing (brick, high ceiling, black and white tile, string lights, long tables, etc.) and logistically seamless!!! Could not recommend more -- I wish I could do it all over again (the pics and vid will have to do ha)!
This is a new and really fantastic hotel. The foyer and bar area is very chic and trendy with beautiful plants, wood and soft lighting. The staff even let local people come and do home office there. There is a really good vibe and great energy among the front desk team. In fact, all the staff were very charming and could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They checked in with us every day to ask if everything is ok, always welcomed us when we arrived, and made us really feel like cared-for guests, even if we were older than most of the other people there. The room we had was so clean, quiet and nicely decorated, with a great view of Brooklyn. Really cannot fault this place. It's well worth the extra dollars for a room. Would highly recommend.

ACE Hotel in Brooklyn is the bomb. I was pleasantly surprised with my view when I looked out my window and lo and behold I saw the Statue of Liberty. I have only been to NYC a handful of times and can honestly say this was the nicest hotel I have stayed at for the rate and the service . I look for the most important things for me such as cleanliness and comfortable bed. The mattress was A PLUS!! I am not looking for a hotel where I stay in so sleeping is my main reason for booking a place. After all , NYC is for enjoying the town. From this location I was able to do just that. I was a 2 minute walk from the subway and only 3 minutes to nearby coffee shops. Staff were cordial and inviting and super sweet. Keep up the good works guys. I plan to return....Seattle ACE is not far from my home and I am familiar with them from that standpoint. It is great to have a hip place to return to when I am back in Brooklyn. I did tell the staff I really want one of the sweatshirts with the logo of Brooklyn in yellow. Maybe the price will come down soon. hint hint
The hotel unfortunately is not worth the price. We opted for the “Roomy” and boy was that a sham. The room is hardly any roomier than their cozy rooms, if it is, it negligible which is unacceptable when you’re paying well over $100 a night more for that room and nearly $500 on a Monday night.

When we walked to the desk for check in, the two agents at the desk eventually looked up from their computers and just started at us. No warm welcome, nothing. We had to ask them if they were available for us to check in or else it would have just been a silent staring contest.

They gave us a room on the 3rd floor with a view of a brick wall and all the garbage dumpsters. Which was ever more fun when the trucks came to loudly collect the garbage at 5am. The room was also an accessible room, which we did not request, so the bathroom was odd and the door wouldn’t stay closed. And there is shoddy construction all around the bathroom in general.

There also was no desk like the listing said there was.

The hotel lobby is lovely and the restaurants look great. But overall pretty disappointed and can’t see myself wanting to come back.

Hoxton team, what about this room makes you think it’s worth the price you charge for it?
Book at your own risk. Having been at several other Aloft properties, I had an expectation of service and how my stay would go. I was wrong. The staff is nice enough but the operations need improvement and the hotels needs to be renovated. My room didn’t come with an ice bucket so I was given a plastic bag with ice. The television in the room didn’t work. The walls in the bathroom are painted so you see blue paint running down from where wet towels and water have hit them. Since the rooms are so small (expected in Brooklyn), you could hear most of what was going on in rooms from the hallway. The location is good and provides easy access to get around, but set your expectations upfront.
This hotel is centrally located in downtown but that’s its only positive quality.

I prefer Bonvoy properties and Marriott should be ashamed to claim this as their own.

The first room had a broken TV. Why would engineering not remove it rather than leaving a broken TV?

My second room had no AC. I reported this to the front desk in the morning as I was leaving. The front desk immediately called engineering and said they would get it fixed. When I returned it was still out. All night in August with no AC. The front desk offered 10,000 points for the inconvenience. I never received the points!

My third room, same trip by the way, I ended up getting RING WORM from the shower!!

I have stayed in better, cleaner, road side motels than this dump! It seems to be perpetually under construction and is very dated and smelly.

Never again!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The room was not only elegantly furnished but also thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences that ensured a comfortable stay. The staff's professionalism and attention to guest satisfaction were apparent from the moment I arrived. The hotel's commitment to sustainability was inspiring, and it's evident that they're dedicated to making a positive impact. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu that catered to various palates, and the quality of the dishes was outstanding. The hotel's location was perfect, providing easy access to both business and leisure activities. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I look forward to returning in the future.

I stayed with my girlfriend for her birthday, and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to us for the entirety of our stay. Both the day we checked in and the day of her birthday, the staff at the front desk went out of their way to give my girlfriend some birthday wishes. We also went to check out the pool, and had a great experience since we were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the poolside lounge beds since there weren't other reservations that day. During our stay, we had a couple minor requests for feminine care products and makeup remover wipes. For the former, the staff provided us a pretty comprehensive care package, and for the latter, though they aren't on the list of items the hotel keeps, the concierge that day insisted on giving us her personal pack of wipes, which was above and beyond what we could have expected.

The two of us had a great time at the William Vale! Combined with the great views and nice neighborhood, we would definitely love to come back again!
You are paying for the views. Although the front desk when checking in was nice, the customer service when calling from the room was atrocious. It felt like the guest services was outsourced. Very odd. We called because the curtains would randomly closed and we were looking forward to seeing the sunset. Unfortunately, the guest service agent said she didn't have a clue how to help us and to wait for someone to come. We eventually figured it out and no one came. Then we called because I wanted to cancel the cabanas and they acted like they couldn't hear my voice. It was all very odd. For the expenses ( I stayed in their skyline suite) and using their hotel for a birthday party, I felt that the overall experience was subpar.

I expected to have a good day at the rooftop pool but the experience was spoiled by the rude staff.
My friend and I booked day beds, showed our confirmation, but someone up front didn’t give us the wrist bands. We sat down on the beds and 5 minutes later Nicole comes up to us and says “you can’t sit here you can sit at the bar these are reserved!” We told her we booked day beds and showed her the confirmation but she wasn’t listening and just kept saying “no you can’t sit here” and kept pointed at the bar. She didn’t even pause for us to get a word in… her tone was rude and loud. Very unnecessary considering how close she was to us. It was like she wanted to embarrass us for whatever reason even though we told her these are our booked beds.
With the same attitude, she told us get up and go to the front and for the 3rd time we showed her the confirmation. To which she turned to the other hostess and said “oh why didn’t you give them a wristband!” with no apology to us. Again same rude tone. That pretty much set the tone for our time there.
We ordered food which never came considering the oven broke and the waitress kept telling us it’s coming but there’s a problem with the oven. They waited a full hour to tell us our food wasn’t available and didn’t even offer a solution or another option on the menu. Such trash service for the price paid. Won’t be returning.

I would rate my experience as 50/50. Some good points was that the people here were nice and the rooms definitely were comfortable and beautiful. Bad points, waited over 4 hours for room service to deliver a bucket of ice and absolutely NOTHING was complimentary in the room, not even a bottle of water! At one point I thought they’d charge us extra for using the towels. For a way better experience I suggest you try the Coda Hotel two blocks away. WAY BETTER service all round and the pleasant staff will make you feel more welcomed.

I did not stay in the hotel, only went to a music event on the rooftop. Great view (but it's NYC, there are lots of places with great views), however the sound system for the event was pretty terrible. It wasn't remotely loud enough, all I could hear was people talking. I spoke to staff about it, and their response was "if you care about audio quality, you shouldn't come to the Williamsburg". Pretty revealing!

I would not recommend this venue, and would not return.
The Williamsburg Hotel is conveniently located and exceptionally well designed. The rooms are not only beautiful, they are designed in a way that makes them incredibly functional. The staff are all incredibly friendly and competent, they were very helpful and I had an incredible stay! I loved it so much I now want to move to Williamsburg 🤣
I would NOT recommend staying here.

The room for two is too small, especially when no one serviced the room the whole 5 nights of our stay.

The front desk staff are just simply rude and unhelpful.

For 4 days in a row i requested our room to be serviced and cleaned, and this never took place. You have to make the front desk aware of this the day before you want your room cleaned, which was done and still nothing. On the final day of me requesting I confirmed with three different staff members and still nothing.

The lights in our bathroom where flicking the whole time, as we couldn't use them, again from the day i checked in to our final day i requested someone come and look at them, again the staff at the front desk had not interest in helping , just standing around and socialising at the front desk.

Finally the $25 resort fee, that has to be paid for the room. No exceptions. There is nothing "resort" like about this hotel. The fee is to cover the use of the terrace and gyms and the tea and coffee in the room ( which was never replaced once) The terrace is table and chairs, I don't know why anyone would enjoy sitting out there and the gym is located in the basement with no windows and is just a basic room with little equipment.

All in all, the stay in Brooklyn was great! THIS HOTEL AND STAFF ARE NOT, don't wast your money, there are much nicer hotels to stay within this price bracket.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Williamsburg Hotel during a trip to New York City, and overall, my experience was delightful. This boutique hotel perfectly captures the trendy and vibrant atmosphere of Williamsburg, offering a unique blend of style, comfort, and exceptional service.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The hotel's modern industrial design, with its exposed brick walls and sleek furnishings, exudes a sense of urban chic. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, creating a visually striking environment throughout the property.

The room I stayed in was spacious and elegantly appointed, featuring contemporary amenities that added a touch of luxury to my stay. The comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep, and the high-quality linens added an extra layer of comfort. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the surrounding neighborhood, allowing me to soak in the vibrant energy of Williamsburg.

One of the standout features of the Williamsburg Hotel is its rooftop pool and bar. This rooftop oasis provided a serene escape from the bustling city below, allowing me to relax and unwind while sipping on a refreshing cocktail. The panoramic views of Manhattan were simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. It's worth noting that the rooftop can get quite busy, so finding a lounge chair may require some patience.

The hotel staff was friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. They were knowledgeable about the local area, offering excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, bars, and attractions. The level of service I received during my stay truly enhanced my overall experience.

However, one minor drawback was the noise level in some areas of the hotel. Given its prime location in the heart of Williamsburg, it's not surprising that there is occasional street noise. While my room was relatively quiet, I did notice some disturbance in the lobby and communal spaces. However, this did not significantly impact my stay.

The Williamsburg Hotel's location is another major selling point. It's conveniently situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and vibrant nightlife. Exploring the local scene was a breeze, and I enjoyed immersing myself in the trendy and artistic atmosphere of the neighborhood.

In conclusion, the Williamsburg Hotel offers a stylish and inviting retreat in the heart of one of New York City's most vibrant neighborhoods. With its modern design, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff, it provides an excellent base for exploring Williamsburg. While some minor noise issues were present, they were outweighed by the hotel's overall charm and top-notch service. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a chic and memorable stay in Brooklyn

I recently had the opportunity to stay here, while not boasting a luxurious five-star experience, provided a humble accommodation option. However, it's important to note a few drawbacks that potential guests should consider before booking their stay.

First and foremost, the guest rooms showed clear signs of wear and tear. The property seemed to lack regular maintenance and attention to detail, resulting in visible signs of aging.

Another major concern was the noise level within the hotel. If you're hoping for a peaceful morning and the chance to sleep in, you may want to adjust your expectations. The walls seemed paper-thin, allowing every sound from the hallway to permeate into the rooms. From early morning cleaning services to the chatter of other guests passing by, tranquility was hard to come by.

Regrettably, even the sound insulation between rooms left much to be desired. You may find yourself startled by unexpected noises from neighboring guests, such as the unfortunate experience of hearing your neighbor's bathroom activities in the early hours of the morning. This lack of soundproofing severely impacted the quality of sleep and overall comfort.

However, it's worth mentioning that the staff was friendly and accommodating during my stay. The customer service aspect was one redeeming factor in an otherwise mediocre experience.
We came to the rooftop party and stayed for the night. Let me just start with how breath taking the view was. Very picturesque. The service was a bit slow but understandable because of the amount of people. Regardless we loved it. The room was fairly small but beautiful, the bathroom was well stocked up. We had a little balcony which I thought was a nice touch. They had a bunch of healthy snacks available and a stocked up mini bar in case of an emergency. Very prime location, close to the water , bars , restaurants and some shopping stores. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly, they held our bags for us after we checked out so we could go explore the town. I highly recommend it and will be coming back soon.

The best hotel at which I've ever had the privilege of staying. The room was a perfect classic-meets-modern situation. The view was stunning. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food from the in-house restaurant was consistently delicious, including when ordered via room service. The service in general was impeccable. I can't think of anything negative to say about the entire experience.
Super cute suite! The unit was nicely update with all a small kitchen included.

Very close to all shops and bars! I would stay here again. The bar and restaurant is beautiful as well!

Very clean and well designed! The apartment style hotel is spacious for NYC. The front desk staff were polite and attentive. The full kitchen and balcony were great additions. The parking garage was about a 7min walk from the hotel. The neighborhood was great!
So nice! I loved this hotel, the rooms were spacious (for NY) the room had a kitchenette which was really nice- and a balcony. The bed was so comfy that I pretty much never left the room except to eat 😂 I do not normally stay in Brooklyn, but if I ever do again, I will be staying here.

Parking is horrible, and not easy to find. Majority of the area has 8:30am alternate side parking. I had to park in a garage on India street and take a Uber because I couldn’t walk the 3 blocks with my luggage. Check in was easy and the rep made me feel comfortable and inviting. Entering into the room I loved loved loved the setup. I had the deluxe loft suite with kitchenette. The bathroom is gorgeous and great for soaking because the tub is so deep. The bathroom also has a small door on the ceiling that is creepy, but it was a placement for the boiler. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well in it. One of my complaints is that I could hear people in there room. Walking and slamming the door. If they’re talking loud I could hear them. Even to flushing there toilet. I was trying to fix my sheets because it was tucked so tight, and the headboard isn’t flushed to the wall so it banged a few times and the person in the other room started banging on the wall. It was very weird. Besides that extra foolishness I hade to endure. I did have a great stay, and I was able to unwind and relax.

This hotel is simply amazing with a wonderful rooftop experience.
Rooms are simple yet, unique. I had the pleasure of staying in a room with a mature and somewhat of a Shakespearean vibe!!! The staff are friendly, and the location is on point for anyone wanting to explore the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. Don't forget to visit the restaurant on the first level- great food!!!
