I recently stayed at Camden Court Hotel for three nights and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement.

The bed was comfortable and the room size was just right, cozy without feeling cramped. However, the breakfast was monotonous, with the same menu every morning during my stay.

The staff were helpful and efficient but could improve their friendliness with a smile to make guests feel welcomed.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay with room for small improvements in hospitality and breakfast variety.

My husband & I stayed with our baby the 15th & 16th Dec. David on reception checked us in & he was an absolute pleasure. Every staff member we encountered were so lovely & helpful. They made us feel so welcome! Our room was top class - spacious, clean & suited us very well with a baby. We used the pool & were very happy with the facilities. We didn't opt for breakfast, but any food & drink we had was very satisfactory. The 2 girls on reception who checked us out were so friendly, & told us no rush to leave the car park. We have stayed in the hotel previous years & always had an enjoyable stay. And once again I am recommending the place to everyone! We are really looking forward to returning again in the new year.
We had a great stay at Camden Court Hotel. The room was perfect, staff were lovely and service was great. The pool and jacuzzi etc open at 8am which was great for post marathon tired legs!
A group of 20+ wanted to eat in the restaurant on Sunday evening without a reservation. The staff were extremely accommodating and managed to seat us together and provide a meal. It was fine with a very positive approach and much appreciated.
Great staff, great service, great location. Thank you!
I recently stayed at the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my stay feel truly special from start to finish. The hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to all the major attractions and transport links. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the quality of the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.
Stayed 5 nights, price was fair. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Prime location. It's bit loud with the club being next door, but honestly it didn't bother me. It seemed to be live music every night and it was strangely suiting. Only negative is hot water wasn't always available.

The room was nicely decorated and clean (other than the carpet , which could have benefited from vaccuming). We booked , having not read the reviews that said there was no hot water, the windows wouldn't close, and the club was next to the hotel (we read these after booking). Having stayed there for a night we confirm that the window does not close properly there is a huge gap in the seal of the windows and the club was right outside our window(it is very loud, you can hear it even with earplugs). We stayed on a thursday night and the club music stopped at 2/2:30 we got a good nights sleep waking up at 10:15 to pack and check out. There was hot water, but it took check 10 minutes of running the hot water for it to warm up. I have a feeling others did not wait, hence why they said in their reviews there is not hot water. For one night, I wouldn't mind booking a again, but if I were staying several nights, then I would want to book somewhere where I can have a proper early nights sleep.

The Cellar Bar provides a relaxing atmosphere, great cocktails, snacks and food menu. The salmon is particularly tasty. All the staff and service are excellent too, Alex couldn’t do anymore for us, he was professional and friendly. Would definitely come back ☺️
The hotel is under renovation and when walking from our room to elevator, we had to bypass some construction. We did not hear any of the construction noise but definitely had to pass workers when going from our room to lobby. All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the full breakfast every morning was WONDERFUL! We had a nice stay.
Wonderful hotel with an excellent service! Staff are true credit to this establishments. We was not happy with the room we were originally given due to renovation however, upon a request reception staff were happy to offer us an alternative room with a better view. Lukas who was a waiter at the lobby ,and one of the new members of staff was exceptional! Very friendly ,polite and highly professional. Wonderful young man ! Thank you!
I do NOT recommend! They first tried to put us in a different room then what we booked with stating they would move us in the morning. We were then placed across the hotel in the old part with no working AC. Fortunately, they did move us the next day but the updated room was not optimal with no room to put luggage, a bathroom with no hooks or countertops to place anything and one morning our water stopped working! We certainly did not get any warning regarding their renovations. Breakfast was good with a wide variety, however, they did not open breakfast consistently at the same time causing us to miss out on days in which we paid for ahead of time!
From the moment we got to The Gresham the service was impeccable. The manager noticed us as being from a red-eye flight and even tho we weren’t technically guests yet he brought us a cappuccino and americano with biscuits on a lovely serving tray in an elegant, calm sitting area. The recommendations for where to go at night were spot on. The room was larger than I expected as was the bathroom. We loved the heated towel bar! The bed was so comfortable and it was quite sound-proof. It was a lovely get-away after busy Dublin days. The breakfasts held a sumptuous spread. It was not quite luxury but darn near close. High quality experience.
Fabulous hotel, very helpful staff, breakfast was amazing and plentiful with a lot of choice. Rooms were large and the mist comfortable beds and pillows I've ever slept on. Bathroom was large with plenty of toiletries. Bar was a good atmosphere, beers, cocktails, wines and champagne served here. Definitely recommend this hotel and will be back myself.

Just perfect.
As of mid-July 2023, this hotel is undergoing a major renovation, which I did not see in reviews or on the hotel website (perhaps I missed it). My take is that most guests will be impacted in some way. Our first room was right in the middle of the construction area but we asked to be moved and we were. They even upgraded us to a larger room. They put us in a side building disguised as part of the main hotel. It was a bit odd. We had to take two elevators (and walk through construction) to get to our room, which was large, newly renovated and very acceptable. I would describe this as a big, modern mid-range hotel. Nothing too special, although there was a nice big breakfast buffet in the a.m. Felt a lot like being on a big cruise ship. Construction workers and housekeeping also used the elevators and we often had to wait as the elevators were full of workers. Over all due to the free upgrade to the bigger room, the central location, and the fine service I was satisfied with my stay but I gave 3/5 stars due to the unmentioned construction and the awkwardness of the building layout with main hotel and side building being connected by series of hallways and elevators.
Stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of the year. Really nice hotel, staff are lovely around the bar area. Reception staff could probably do with cheering up. Hotel is very modern, beds were comfortable and shower was great. So close to everything, great location. Didn't have the food but my mum and dad did and they said it was great. Would definitely stay here again and was reasonably priced.

Excellent, friendly staff. Amazing food. The Loin of Bacon is amazing
Our previous stay in Ireland was at a B&B above a pub, which was fine, but upon arriving at the Gresham we were blown away. Everything from the lobby, to the breakfast buffet, was top notch. The staff were extremely friendly and always greeted us coming or going to ask if they could assist in any way. Highly recommend!
The room was extremely clean and modern. There were three of us but we had plenty of space, along with a refrigerator and safe. The location is perfect, you can pretty much walk anywhere in Dublin within 20 minutes.

Nice place.
I didn't have food, just drinks.
Prosecco cost 15 euro... bit steep for knock-off champagne.

Payment method of default gratuity 10%, 20% tip is a bit generous. I'm irish, so tipping after being served beer at the bar makes no sense, I expect your employer to be paying you a fair wage. This is on the owner/manager, not the issue with the bartenders. I do however tip if you are very kind and go out of your way to do something without me having to ask, but I don't ever expect that from a bartender, especially when it's busy.

What a great little find. Awesome atmosphere in an old wine cellar. Place was clean and cozy. Staff was excellent and the food was great. Watch a local game on t.v. and had dinner. Many beer and wine to choose from.

Food not so great and rather expensive 😬 but staff exceptionally friendly and so helpful with entertaining the kids with balloons and coloring books.

The service and knowledge of the staff was incredible. I had a beer that only exists at the cellar bar, the Monck House Red Ale and it was incredible.

The whole bar exists in the cellar of the Merrion Hotel and creates this amazing close and intimate atmosphere or a nice quiet place to have a conversation and some excellent drinks. I would highly recommend a stop here every time visiting Dublin.
