Our first trip to Los Angeles and we were glad we chose Palihouse on W 3rd Street. Such a charming and pretty hotel at an excellent location. Easy reach to cool neighbourhoods such as Beverly Hills, Sunset and Hollywood boulevards, Melrose and the Fairfax district. Also some excellent eateries nearby ie. Joan’s On Third, Slab, Magnolia Bakery, Du-Pars and The Original Farmer’s market. Highly recommended!
We were deciding between hotels in the area and are very glad we went with Palihouse. We spent one night, and after hearing that we were in town for a friend who’d been in a terrible accident, Chalice, the lovely server in the restaurant, comp’d my coffee. Totally unexpected and compassionate generosity.
Cait and Johnny and the valet team also provided great service and helped us with our bags when loading after having to store our bags for a couple hours, and this was despite parking on the street.
Everything is in the details, from giving our dog complementary treats and toys, to the poolside water and snack, and the Diptyque products that gave a subtle, delicious smell throughout.
We didn’t mind the traffic outside our balcony — that’s LA — and the Grove, Comedy Store, and shopping were all within walking distance. This hotel is our new go-to, and the luxury you get at this price can’t be beat.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a rather last min work trip. You can’t beat the location, right in a rare walking area in LA. Front desk service was incredible, the man who checked me in, I can’t remember his name but he was Ukrainian and was so warm and knowledgeable about the area. It was a quick and seamless check in. The rooms are a decent size and have very cute decor. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the shower has good pressure. Literally everything you need for a good hotel stay. The pool is chill too! The restaurant is so good, loved the bfast muffin and the turkey club was huge! Cait, Ariha, and Jonathan helped with my check out process and that was equally as efficient and friendly too. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
We chose this boutique hotel for proximity to another hotel where we attended a conference. This was only 1/2 mile away. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. We went to the Saturday happy hour and enjoyed the drinks. We would recommend Palihouse for cleanliness, safety, comfort, location and service.
We had a lovely stay here. They allowed us to check in very early and the process was super smooth. The room was clean, the decor and the design were cool and unique. Convenient location as well. Would stay again!

We came to LA for our Grandaughter’s wedding. She booked this hotel for us. We were absolutely thrilled with the location, service, professionalism, safety and kindness of all the staff. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the room service, delicious breakfast served within 10 minutes of ordering. This is an extremely well run and welcoming hotel.
We had such wonderful stay here. The hotel is super cute and fun. I love how the style that’s mix here. Clever! The moment you walk in, you are greeted by the amazing scent which is so beautiful and refreshing. Not the cheap air freshener that sometimes you smell from hotels. Then the extremely friendly staff that wears adorable uniform. Shout out to Anderii who not only recommend great places for us, he also took good care of us. What a pleasant experience just be greeted by his big smile! Thanks abs we will love to come back again.
