I stayed at the andBeyond Grumeti River Lodge in July for four nights with my wife and couldn't be happier with the experience we had. We knew it was one of the most luxurious properties in the Serengeti, but we didn't expect the level of service to be so outstanding. The staff is exceptionally attentive to the point of picking up your preferences very quickly. The room is beautifully decorated with incredible amenities such as a plunge pool (cold and ideal for hot days), a comfortable bed, and a spacious shower. The food was phenomenal, with all the alcoholic beverages you desire.

I didn't like to see the lack of appreciation from some guests towards the staff. Even though this property is pricey, it doesn't give you the right to act rudely. Remember that the safari guides driving the vehicle are responsible for providing you with an excellent experience. In other words, they know where all the animals tend to be and communicate with other guides to learn where the animals are at any moment. Therefore, remember to be kind and treat them with respect and dignity. They aren't your private chauffeur, even though that's what it appears to be. Lastly, remember to tip them at the end of each day. That's the recommendation from our travel agent, and we saw most people not doing it.

I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting the best safari experience in luxury.

This is among the best lodges/hotels😊 we stayed in! The facility is newly renovated, and the rooms are just seamlessly flawless, the attention to details is just remarkable from the minute you check in to your room, till you leave, the cleanness is to another level, and the availability of everything is something else. The personalized service and understanding each guest details and specifics of their stay is just not common anywhere else from how you like your bed, bathtub to details of your food and drinks. The food is on another level and our guide was an extremely unique talented one.

Daniel, Waziri (our guide), Ramadan the great chef, and Joseph were the stars of our stay, we have no words to thank them enough and we are definitely looking forward to coming again and learning more about this special unique place. HEAVEN ON EARTH.

Our family had a wonderful visit to the Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge in June 2023! Rojah and Daniel took excellent care of us at the lodge. They had a great birthday celebration for my wife! The food and drinks were outstanding. Wilfred was a great guide for our safaris...he went above and beyond to ensure we had great wildlife viewing!

I stayed here in June of 2023, and let me just say that this is hands-down amongst the top-3 of all lodges I've had the pleasure of staying in ! We stayed in the 'family' room, and honestly, I think my entire apartment can fit in it with ease ! You get a fully-stocked mini bar (no alcohol), a super-comfy bed, numerous charging stations accommodating EU & UK plugs, a gorgeous rain shower (as you look at the hippos), plus a bathtub for you to unwind in after your safari. Don't get me started on the delectable food... I highly recommend this lodge. You won't be disappointed. Oh, there's a gym too...:-)

In November 2022 my wife and I were fortunate enough to celebrate our honeymoon and stay at this newly remodeled hotel. The hotel has 10 super spacious rooms (all the same) with unparalleled architecture and comfort. The rooms are designed to give you the experience of sleeping in the African savannah, so much so that at night you can hear dozens of animals roaming around your room. The food was excellent and very coarse, I still remember with much craving the gingerbread cookies that were brought to the room at 5am with coffee for the wake up call. Our game drive was one of the best we have experienced in Africa, we were able to see the Big 5. The privileged location of the hotel next to the river allows us to be very close to a large family of hippos and crocodiles. The best of our trip was the human warmth and extraordinary service of the people who made the experience unforgettable, I still remember with great appreciation all their kind gestures and service. A special thanks to Thomas, our butler, Shavani our ranger and the whole team for further enriching our experience.

A do-not-miss property! The game viewing and guides are spectacular, especially if you’re interested in big cats. The rooms are the most beautiful that we’ve ever stayed at, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. We had hippos, wildebeests, and monkeys all outside our room that we could watch while relaxing in our private pool. It’s extremely luxury without feeling stuffy. Bravo to AndBeyond for creating such an incredible piece of paradise in the Serengeti! We can’t wait to be back.

Friendly staff, great food and activities make this place a must visit. Hippos chilling in the river close to camp ensure you know that you are in the wild.

The best of Serengeti...iets the westerns corridor where you can land directly into the heart of the national park,the door to the biggest river in Serengeti, witch is the home of the bigest crocodiles in the world and homes of hippos. And the only place in the park that is close to Victoria Lake
