Overall, a very satisfying tour where we had the opportunity to taste some good local wines. It was esp interesting to see during the vertical tasting that how a wine changes character during the aging process.
My choice : the whites .
My favorite place in Thessaloniki. Great selection of wines, interesting tour. Amazing facilities, super friendly staff in one of the most beautiful areas of the town. Highly recommend a visit
Superb winery in Thessaloniki area. Astonishing views on the sea, Olympus mountain and the tastiest bruschettas I’ve ever tried! Highly recommended both for wine tours or breakfast. Mind the opening hours!
Proud producer of malaguisa (thanks to Mr. Vangelis Gerovassiliou for reviving this lost variety) and assyrtiko whites. Interesting wine museum where owner’s corkscrew collection and many other wine related items are exhibited. Classical tasting or enjoying wine accompanied by small dishes are possible on a nice terrace overlooking the estate.
Great experience. The tour is very good and the museum interesting. Amazing sculptures inside the vineyard.
An amazing estate with an exceptional wine museum.Especially the private wine opener collection. Highly recommended for art lovers too. The tour was informative, but the wine tasting session was really bad. We tried the ECHO wine tasting that includes different vintages of red and white wines... The staff just served us 7 glasses on the table and left....No info, no discussion, no hints or food recommendation about the wines we sampled. Not even a little booklet with info about the tasting profile of the wines. Big disappointment....

Had a great time at Ktima Gerovassiliou. We went on a walking tour around the vineyard, production facilities and museum with an impressive collection of corkscrews and other agricultural equipment (the tour was in Greek and English), followed by wine tasting (we went for 'craft your own tasting' option when you can select the wines you want to try) & some wine shopping.

A friend took us to this winery. We took part in a 45-minute tour of the winery while the guide explained the origin of the winery and the winemaking process. Very interesting and educational. The winery contains its own museum as well as various sculptures by famous world and local artists. I am delighted with this place. At the end, we tasted wines and cheese on a sunny terrace with a view of the vineyards.

A stunning vineyard with exceptional views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tour was very informative and easy to follow. They have beautiful items in their shop as well as their wine, of course. They also sell olive oil and a sweet balsamic. Definitely worth a visit if you visit the region.
Great vineyard experience!!!
Visit the wine museum with a unique collection of winery machinery !!!
Have a walk in the vineyard or taste some wines! You can taste the hole red or white series of the firm with some appetizers!
The view of the see & Olympus Mountain is stunning !!!
Do not miss it !
Plenty of parking, friendly staff, best time to visit by sunset!
Enjoy!!!
We felt this winery has the best setup for visitors we have ever experienced. The guided tour is exceptionally well designed (and short of wine making jargon). The tasting (see photo) is a flavor experience. The setting of the winery and vineyard is beautiful. The modern art dispersed through the vineyard is tasteful. The experimental vineyard is a great experience if you are into grape varieties. The winery’s museum is the best estate museum I have seen so far (ok, Mouton Rothschild’s museum in Pauliac is also quite good). And the personnel is very knowledgeable and helpful. Don’t miss visiting this winery if you happen to be in the area and like wine.
One of the best designed wineries in Greece! Perfect location, excellent tours and a fantastic wine-tasting experience afterwards!
A hidden gem near Thessaloniki. I’m surprised more people haven’t found out about this place (but also glad). We have visited twice and both experiences were awesome. The first time (September 2021), we did the tour and then tasted some vintage wines. The second time, we sat outside, had some great cheeses and cured meats, and tried some more wines. The charcuterie is out of this world, the options were fantastic (ask for the holzhofer, you won’t be able to find it anywhere else in Greece except a small deli in Athens). The space is beautiful. Just vines everywhere, a really peaceful winery. The wines are amazing, and we loved how many vintage wines you can taste. The staff is very knowledgeable and they helped us a lot both times. I can’t wait to show this place to more people!
A jewel winery 20' away from Thessaloniki. The estate is located on the top of hill outside from Epanomi, with great 180° view of Thermaikos gulf, and surrounded by 200 acres or 800.000m2 of vines. Within the estate you can find a cafe-restaurant with glass walls (to enjoy the view) and a fabulous wine museum which among all its exhibitions includes also an enormous corkscrew collection of more than 2.500 pieces. The estate offers tours for the winery and the museum. Congratulations to our estate's guide for his thorough knowledge!
