Cleanliness/usability of changing/shower area is a huge concern - showers hose fixtures broken/removed, some drains clogged, and hair in every shower stall during our 2 week swim lessons. Otherwise, great place to go to swim, but skip the bathrooms and get the car seats wet.
Great place to have a birthday party. I recommend you do the cabana rental to make sure you have space reserved for your group. They offer 8$ for a burger, chips & soda when you rent the cabana. (Up to 20ppl) Fair prices for other consessons. You do have to go out of the pool if you want cake. We usually do it @ the park pavilion & open gifts there. (If not rented, it's on the other side of the parking lot) They do stamp your hand to get back into the pool area. The life guards are attentive & there is a good amount of them. They do a safety break every hr. There is also a small skate park in the back corner of the parking lot (free) & a small playground neer the pavilion.
Family loves the facilities and food, especially the new fruit bowls they sell. However, there were two groups of boisterous older teenagers wrestling, shoving, and kicking people that weren't dealt with in the vortex pool. At one point I even had to be like "hey, can you guys chill?" to which the older two boys kept shoving each other. There should definitely be a stricter no horseplay policy, especially with little kids and babies being in the vortex pool.
Fun place for a family day! Kids had a lot of fun, lots of things for all ages of kids. The food is decently priced, but it always takes awhile to get your food. Especially if you order pizza. They got my order wrong twice, buy fixed it pretty quickly.
This place was awesome for all ages. It is very clean and has a lot of lifeguards on duty. I would recommend buying the season pass because your kids will be begging you to take them back.
Love the place. First time visiting. I just thought in comparison to other water parks, it’s actually expensive. I had 5 kids with me, and we paid $78. And then we ended up not swimming because it got windy. Most city water parks cost average $8. But that’s my only thing…
We absolutely love this pool. Everyone has discussed the amenities, but what I haven’t seen mentioned yet is what it offers *before* the pool opens to the general public.
1) Swim lessons four days a week for two weeks at a time - HALF the price of places like Foss. My kids (and my wallet) love it.
2) Water walking in the lazy river, against the current - great exercise, nice to meet & talk to others, and good to do while the kids are in their swim lessons.
3) A cute playground, a skate park, and outdoor music events, right next door.
We drive 30 minutes to get to this pool, that’s how much we like everything it has to offer. ;)
We loved the day we spent here! Our kids were entertained all day. Clean facility. Love how big the place is with lots of areas to hop back and forth between.
