I called and scheduled an appointment for medium to large braids going to a ponytail with my natural hair. She quoted me $60. Once I arrived I told her to do a little slant I did not want straight backs. 2 hours later my hair was braided small and she told me the price was now 120.. I told her that is not what she originally quoted me and she said it's because you asked for a design. Overall the braids are ok BUT it's not what I asked for and the price was not what I intended on paying. For that price I would have got weave. I need something affordable for 2 weeks.
Returning customer...at this point my daughter only goes to Lollipoppin for knotless. The quality of work is impeccable, price point is sensible for a 9 year old, and the customer service is phenomenal. More importantly, I feel safe leaving my child in Blessing's care and that's priceless!
I was in town for a meeting and it was hot and humid in DC. My hair looked amazing for 3 days! I have coarse hair that frizzes easily. I got so many compliments!! Wish I lived closer to this salon!
They care about your hair health, which I love. My hair is thick and they were very gentle blowing it out and combing it.

The energy and atmosphere in this shop gives great vibes and a sense of belonging and the feeling of being welcomed. The stylists are very professional and knowledgeable they work hard at making sure your comfortable and you get what you came for a hair style that makes you feel gorgeous! I have been going to Kim aka shop owner for years. She has magic fingers with the scissors. She gets you in and out and accepts walk-ins. Prices are very reasonable.
My hair still looks like the day I got it twisted after 3 weeks, she creates detailed and defined twist.
Very talented professionals. The whole family came here, and they were great for cuts and styles for men, women and children. Will definitely come back!
She charge professional price but doesn’t produce quality work. I had knotless braids done and they’re terrible. She tried to make it right by taking it out and redoing it but I still received the same results. My hair looks like someone that was learning to do hair and I allow them to practice on me. I definitely will be taking these out tomorrow. I donated 220 for one night hair style.
Trust the ratings! I should’ve known better to allow her to remove my faux locs. I now have SEVERAL areas of MY hair CUT extremely short throughout my scalp and it’s obvious! She demanded payment upfront, attempted to charge me a higher rate than what was discussed. She was Very unprofessional by eating cookies while working on my hair and getting crumbs all over me. She used dirty, old combs. Ahhhh! It was a Terrible experience!

I am from Michigan. I visited the salon as a birthday gift from my daughter. The minute I walked in I was pleasantly greeted. Soon taken to the shampoo station by Shaynee (excuse spelling)., who did an awesome shampoo and conditioner.. Then to my stylist Shanelle (excuse spelling if incorrect). Who did an AMAZING trim flat iron style. My hair was beautiful and I felt great! I tell you the energy in this salon was positive and uplifting. Thank you Ladies for a wonderful experience and day!
This is by far the best hair salon in town, the shop owner does wonders with your hair and she has a gift for hair and it makes your hair grow and become healthy. ☺️
Blessing is an excellent stylist! I highly recommend. I started going to Lollipoppin Hair Studios after several months of my grandson getting his hair braided. He loved and talked about her so, that I made an appointment to get my hair braided. I as well, loved the way she took her time and did a great job. I now go there for all my services. The last time was for a wash, condition, and curl. Beautiful!!!
ALL OF THESE LADIES ARE AWESOME! Mahogany was my stylist for 15 years. She kept my hair and my girls hair looking fabulous and healthy. She is an ACE at what she does and her heart is truly in caring for her clients hair. I moved back to GA 3 years ago and I surely do MISS HER! 😩 it is very hard finding a stylist that truly cares about having healthy hair. Mahogany, Thank you for the many years you took care of me and my girls! I’ll be sure to come visit for a hairdo next time I’m in VA. Blessing is truly a blessing! My daughter needed her hair done in a braided ponytail for a cheerleading competition and it turned out better than I expected! We have gotten so many compliments and the style has lasted for a few weeks now. I would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to our next appointment!

Went here to get my hair died looks nothing like the picture she didn't dry or style it yet still cost almost 200$ I dnt ask for a rinse but that's what I got and the rinse made my hair turn freaking pink . Y would u give me a rinse ..??? And if u can't do what's in the picture say so dnt mess up somone hair

Norma is an exceptional hair stylist with experience working with texture hair. It's a nice and friendly salon.
Did a horrible job on feed ins and attacked me when she accused me of not paying. I made the payment, yet she held me for 10 minutes. I had to call the police. After realizing the payment had previously been sent she didn’t even apologize. Beware if you go here bad service and a scammer. If it wasn’t for the police who knows what would have happened.

Been going to Miracle’s since I moved to Maryland from Texas about 18 yrs ago. I have alway left out happy with my hair. So I highly recommended this salon to anyone. If u want nice, quick beautiful hair.
I am disgusted at the performance of these hair professionals, I came in with a high top fade and came out with no hair. I wish I could give you guys 0 stars but google is cutting you all some slack.

I been going to Tanya for 11years she is a wonderful person. When I met Tanya I had a perm I went natural with her help and didnt loose any hair. I left the state but I will always come back to get Tanya to style my hair.

I called to schedule an appointment and two of the three people I spoke to were very unprofessional. I’d never get my hair done at this establishment given the rudeness and shortness experienced before even getting serviced - before I could even walk in the door.

Came in as a walk in for a see in and they tended to me right away. Miracle was very firm but gentle with my hair! She was done with braiding and installing within a hour! The fastest I ever gotten my hair done. It looks so good and I’m in love ❤️

First time at this salon and it won’t be my last! My stylist Tiffani was awesome and she did a wonderful job on my hair! All the stylists there were doing amazing work as well. About two weeks ago I called this salon early on a Sunday more basically begging to be seen the same day.
The day prior a friend of the family installed a full weave with some leave out and, to be as polite as possible, it was horrible. I had to take out the hair the same night. I was upset to say the least and desperate to find someone to re-install my hair as soon as possible. A friend of mine told me about this salon and their work.
So..as I was saying.. I begged the lady on the other end of the phone (who I now know is the owner) for a same day appointment, but honestly it was unnecessary. She asked me to hold for a brief moment and when she came back to the phone she told me that Tierra can see me at 3pm the same day. Take about a life savor!!
When I came into the salon, Tierra introduced herself and her assistant. Her assistant washed my hair and it felt amazing! (That’s a big thing for me) Then Tierra installed the hair. Two weeks later, I’m still loving this hair and I have no complaints at all.
And I will be back!!

Tiarra Matthews is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!! She is truly a professional and takes great pride in her work. My hair has so much body, bounce and shine. I also took my mom whose hair was very dry and brittle. When Tiarra finished her hair, mom was truly amazed and very, very pleased. :-)

My stylist Shellette is the best. Clean salon, friendly (ALWAYS) personnel. She is patient and listens to your concerns to help create the best hair care plan for you. I continue to receive compliments on my hair style all the time. It was scary cutting off my locs in 2018, which is when I started going to Ultimate Image at the recommendation of my daughter. Then having length and dead hair trimmed/cut, however Shellette has made the transition super easy and stylish. I love my look!

I've been a long time customer of Tanya (Blow Outz owner). I'm a weekly customer who trusts her to do what's best for my hair. Not only is she an excellent hair stylist but she is a hair care aficionado. Tanya believes that healthy hair makes the style look great. And she practices what she preaches, only using quality hair care products on my hair. She gives me valuable instructions on the dos and don'ts of hair care. She is what I call a subject matter expert. I always receive compliments on my hair style, but I also receive compliments on how healthy my hair looks. Some people have asked me if I were wearing a wig because of it. So if you want someone who is a great hair stylist AND hair care expert, then come to Blow Outz. A place that cares about their customers.
This us your next stop and when you get there you won't turn back! Kim does a great job in getting her customers together. You're usually out in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours which is unheard of especially for people with thick hair, shoulder length or more. I'm the one that other salons have wait because they can get the people with the short or thin hair done or leave for the male hairdressers. Say goodbye to the all day hair salon experience. And then the prices are really reasonable. Check it out!
Tanya has been my stylist for 20 years, since I was just 12! I moved away and still came back to Maryland to get my hair done because she's just that good. I have uniquely thick hair and she handles it with ease. I trust her with scissors, relaxers and color!

My mom and I have been coming to Kim for years. If you need a nice hairstyle that is affordable she is the best. Also she is open on Saturdays and takes walk-ins. I would highly recommend her to anyone. It's good to have a good stylist to go to at the last minute with affordable prices.
