My hair was highlighted and cut with Cristin on Friday, March 1st, I have been coming to the Make up and Hair Studio for a few years, love it here, very comfortable place, even those not working on you are always there with a welcoming smile. Cristin is the best, she always does an excellent job on my hair, whether it be a cut or highlight it’s always perfect and I’m always happy. Thank you for all you do.

I brought my mother in to get a haircut. She’s a little older and hard of hearing. Cher gave her the best haircut And my mother was feeling amazing when she walked out of there. Everyone at Hair stories is so nice and caring and they were so patient with my elderly mother I appreciate everyone in hair stories. They’re the best!!

LOVE this place!. Everyone is super friendly. Service is spot on, timely and I always leave happy with my hairstyle. I came here a few years back looking for help and color advice. Chase spent time with me, set me up with Tommy and I've never looked back. I typically have Cher or Mary cut and blow out but I've used others as well and always been happy. Everyone from the front desk to the sink is spectacular !

My first time at Hairstories was a beautiful experience that started with my own mess up that one of the owners, Chase, rectified and gave me the best total hair experience I've ever had. My haircut is gorgeous, the color is on point and exactly how I wanted even though I couldn't put it into words. The staff is sweet, the front desk girls are lovely and the products used are high quality. The best!!!!!! Rae cuts my daughter’s hair and Dre cuts mine. This salon is the absolute best! Friendly and professional. I needed info on hair color for my doctor and Dre went out of her way to get it for me. She also went on to make suggestions for products to use because of an allergy I developed to most shampoos. I absolutely love Hairstories. Been a customer for over 10 years. They never fail to make our hair perfect every time!

I have been going to Hairstories for a few years consistently. I am very satisfied with the services. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the people are all genuine. Even the other clients are nice. My current stylist is Sam and before that I saw Jamie and Cher. Once in a while I get lucky and Chase will cut my hair. I am never disappointed and plan to continue going to Hairstories. Another thing I should mention is the assistants are very good as well. I have dark hair and they all seem to manage to clean me up very good after a color service. Special shout out to Daisy.

I absolutely love coming here! The girls are amazingly talented and make you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. I love Dawn's energy! She makes me not want to leave… I've gotten my makeup done by Heather and Julianna and Nunzia usually does my blowouts. Amazing!!!

After trying several salons, and being dissatisfied, I went to Bali. I was pleasantly surprised by the expert cut from Greg. It is what suits me, and I love it!

I was skeptical when I came in. I spoke with Greg over the phone to come in for a consultation. I had a picture of the color I wanted exactly. On the first coloring my hair seemed dark and I wasn’t sure if it was going to come out anything like the way I wanted. Second highlight color after the wash I thought “this is not going to be anything I asked for.” But then when he cut it and began to blow it out, voila! The highlights popped out, my hair was this warmish mixed brown with reddish brown highlights. He color corrected my dry, frizzy, (much darker almost black) from drugstore hair boxed color, put on a sealing gloss, I could never get my hair this smooth, this soft, this silky and this TAME!! It’s a bit pricey, but if you have damaged hair, he’ll see your vision and give you the best treatment according to your hair type! He just recently moved out to LI from NYC and we are so great full to have him! I am telling all my friends! I’m not one to sit in a chair every week for 3 hours but I will follow up and sacrifice on an every 6 week visit (or if the greys are popping out too soon). Thank you for staying open for me. 😁

Good hair day is a warm and inviting space. Getting your hair done takes hours, and it is so nice to feel relaxed and comfortable during the process. Crystal did a fabulous job on my color and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Consistently have a great experience here. About a year or so ago I heard about the space, and Crystal, and the services, and decided to book to check it out, and I’ve never looked back. I regularly get my haircut here. I always feel like I’m heard, and that we figure out what makes sense stylistically, and I just always leave feeling way better than when I walked in. Crystal is the best, the space is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend!!

The VERY BEST. This is my new favorite place, I will definitely be back. All the staff was so sweet. Greg was amazing and totally transformed my hair. I feel so much more confident! My hair is healthier and stronger .

Lori is truly the most talented, sweetest stylist and has the best chairside manner. My mom & I love our hair dates in her chair & today we were both blown away by our results! Lori is thorough & so skilled, the assistants are top notch, the receptionist makes you feel like a celebrity & the whole atmosphere is beautiful with the new updates & overhaul. Won't ever go anywhere else!!

I had the best day at The Makeup Studio! So much fun getting my makeup applied along with a step by step makeup lesson with Donna! She suggested I bring my own makeup and it worked out great! She's gifted, patient, loves what she does and is Magic with makeup and brushes!!! She shared her tips and best practices with me and I walked out of there feeling fabulous!! But before I did, I inquired about having my hair done for a wedding in 2 mos. I asked her what she thought I should do and she recommended wavy beach curls. Then she asked one of the ladies to give me a quick demo on my hair. That's when I met Jennifer. She styled my hair with a curing iron and upon Donna's suggestion - it looked sooo good! Thank you, Jennifer! I appreciated Dawn at the front desk, very helpful, friendly and makes everyone feel at home and comfortable. On a separate occasion, had a spray tan with Jaclyn - this was great too! Looking for a little pick me up - head to The Makeup Studio - you can not go wrong!!

I just got married on Saturday. I live in Florida now, so I was not able to do a trial. Which made me nervous, but my gut told me to go with them. I am soooooooo glad I did !! My hair and make up was gorgeous! I couldn’t stop looking at myself 🤣! I looked like classic Hollywood ! Ari and Donna were absolutely amazing and so so so so nice ! Please please please go to them !! Thank you girls so so so much !!! I wish I still lived here ! I’m considering on flying up here just to get my hair hair done when I need it! Love you so much !

Absolutely love coming into the studio. Dawn is always so friendly and sweet. Tori is legitimately an artist. I’m always so happy with my hair. I’ve been going there for years but today was special. I was there for 7 hours because I was getting a lot done. The entire staff was so accommodating. They made sure my parking meter never ran out, and they went to get me lunch because I was sitting there for so long. It just really touched me how kind and caring everyone was. And my hair came out amazing!! Highly highly recommend.

Shalyn did my color and when I tell you she’s TALENTED and so knowledgeable she really is. She took her time. She went above and beyond with numerous steps to formulate the perfect blonde because the shade I wanted was very specific and she made it happen and I could never thank her enough and she made sure it was perfect and she did it while leaving my hair healthy and not compromising my hairs health. David styled my hair ! He was extremely thorough and an absolute perfectionist. He explained everything he was doing while he was cutting and made sure you were ok with what he was taking off Before he did so. He was the sweets and you can tell he was very experienced.

Him and Shalyn were the best. Please go see them. I love them so much and can’t wait to see them soon.

Very welcoming & clean salon. I have been coming for a few years with my daughter & our hair always comes out perfect! I have had different stylists when my regular is off they are all top notch. Corey Ann does fantastic color & blowouts. Nunzia does great cuts. Will continue. To come here since for many years prior could not find one salon.
