Love my haircut and the customer service here. My lovely hairdresser Siiri always does an amazing job and the rest of the team are divine too.

These ladies are the best! I have been seeing Amanda, and more recently Claire, since moving to Brisbane in 2018 and have nothing but praise for their work. Gina is also fantastic, having done a few blow dries for me too.
They are friendly, accommodating and do a great job. The salon is relaxed and welcoming, with great music and good wine and cheese on a Thurs night! Amanda even cuts my little girls’ hair and she is so awesome with them - they love her! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Don't know what to say, nothing but friendly and simply fabulous. Friendly staff, friendly owner and the owner is ALWAYS there, that's commitment!
I'm the owner and operator of a hectic freight business so I know what it takes, I get no time for self maintenance. If I'm not stuck in the office I'm on the road driving filling in the gaps. I know the crew at 235 can't accommodate everyone at any time but if I give them a ring and tell them I'm all kinds of messed up they'll try their best to fit me in, sometimes I have to wait an hour or more and it takes multiple stylists inbetween clients but they get it done and it's amazing. I don't believe they can do this with everyone but they know my situation and it has taken many years to build this relationship and this understanding. I am HAPPY to wait!

We had been longstanding clients. The salon cut our children’s hair since their first haircut, for a very reasonable price, as long as it was combined with an adult cut. This was increased by $170 without consultation, for two under 5 children’s cuts. Unfortunately the management style seems to have changed, and the salon seems to only want to service high net worth cuts and individuals. I would ensure you have a written quote before proceeding.

I have been going to Savanna Hair Design for 7 yrs. I come once a week for a shampoo and blow dry and hair colour when needed. There has not been a single time when I was not happy. Suzie is amazing and pays real attention to detail. She takes time to make sure I am happy with the outcome. I highly recommend her. She is also very reasonably priced, in my opinion.

I went to the Eden’s crossing savanna hair salon and I went to get a shadow root stretch and they didn’t do it properly it’s blotchy and they left brown hair die marks on my blonde hair and I called them telling then I was upset about it they said I have to pay to fix it when they messed up. I will not be going back there ever again, worst experience I’ve ever had and they were rude.

Amanda listened to exactly what I wanted and did such a great colour! Better than I ever imagined.

Over time my naturally copper hair has darkened. I have been to other salons to try and get my colour back to the same colour as when I was younger and I have come out disappointed with a deep red colour.
As the colour I want doesn't come in a box I resorted to doing it myself by using a gradual lightner for years.
I had seen some vibrant coppers from Isabis on the local community page so I thought I'd give it a go.
I had a free consultation with Amanda where she checked that the previous gradual lightener wouldn't interact with anything. She listened to me and what I wanted.
When I came back they had a corner set up for me near the door (in case of fumes but it was fine anyway) as I had my newborn. There was a ramp access from the back of the salon so I could bring in the pram.
The service was absolutely amazing. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. They not only took food care of me but also my newborn as Paige also talked and distracted her while I was relaxing getting my hair washed.
Amanda also made sure that my hair was covered when there were intervals of waiting so when I fed my newborn that I wouldn't get any dye near her. They made me feel so comfortable .
Here I am now, a week later with vibrant copper hair am so happy I have found a salon to keep coming back to.

All I can say Is Lachlan and the team at salon 235 are amazing. I walked in there with red hair which almost every other hair dresser rejected to touch but Lachlan patiently worked on my hair and did a beautiful highlight for me . Highly recommend.

Had the best blow dry by Sue. I’ve lived in Coorparoo for over 45years and have seen the salon on my walks. Decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Sue is very friendly and was trained by Jon Le Court so is very professional. Highly recommended.

Couldn't recommend this salon more, I've had two great experiences here now and I'm extremely happy with the results. Had a full vivid colouring done, and it turned out better than I could've expected. All the staff are so lovely and listen to what you want and offer great advice. Mandi is an absolutely wonderful human and highly skilled. I've been looking for a salon in brissy now for a couple of years and finally found one I feel I can fully trust ☺️

Absolute worst haircut I have ever had! When I was finally able to take off my mask and see what Suzanne had done, I just cried. Totally unflattering, ugly, and destroyed my shoulder length style. I had to go to another hairdresser and have it cut again into a very short style just to be able to live with it. Now I will have to wait months for it to grow.

I'm a new client to the salon and look forward to returning for my next cut & colour. I have thick, wavy hair that is cut pixie style, and frankly, a lot of hairdressers don't seem to do well with this combination. I was also looking to lighten my hair when it has a strong red undertone. Con provided a very thorough consultation at the beginning, the process of the cut and colour was pleasant, and not rushed, and the end result is as good as I dared hope. I will never go to a "commercial" salon again where clients are pushed in and out as quickly as possible. Con & Grant clearly care that each client gets a bespoke, personalised, caring service. I have been a client at this salon for 15 years because they provide immaculate service. What I really appreciate about this salon is their honesty and professionalism. Con and Grant will guide you to a hair cut and colour that suits you and your features. They won’t let you look bad, and I really appreciate them taking the time to talk with you about what you would like. I keep going back because of their honesty and integrity as professionals. This kind of service is hard to find!

Poor consultation skills on part of the hairdresser. I came in to share a very personal concern regarding my hair situation but instead was kicked out and told to "think about it". For your price point (which was not the issue by the way) I expect more care for your customers. I don't doubt his service once you make it to the actual haircut.

Edit: the response here is classic blame shifting to the fault of the customer. I have worked in the hair industry for over 6 years. I knew exactly what I wanted, the hairdresser obviously didn't want to deal with my situation. That's fine, you could have just said that. I felt humiliated and left feeling more insecure than I did before.
And FYI the stylist offered no stylistic advice. Just gave me the price and didn't even offer a booking afterwards.

Hi, I cannot believe one can have so much pleasure going to the hair salon. I have just had my second visit to Savanna and I have to say Susan (owner) is a lovely, lovely friendly lady. She is beautifully presented, very professional and has many years of experience and it certainly shows in the way she looks after her clients. The salon is spacious, neat and clean and it feels great to sit and enjoy. I went to Mandi on recommendation from a friend, and I was thrilled with my experience! It was my first time with her and Mandi took the time to ask questions, listen, and discuss her ideas on my hair cut. It was amazing to get such a good cut from such a lovely place. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, too. It was also so nice to see different, fresh styles from everyone employed there! Stoked to have a salon I'm excited to go back to!

After being a regular client of Con and Grant for 15 years (and now a retiree) I was surprised and disappointed to have the cost of a trim and tint jump from $195 to $230 without notification. So much for friendship and loyalty. I wont be back.
