Couldn't be happier with the results. Amy did an incredible job of the cut and colour and the whole team were lovely and attentative. I've been looking for a good salon for years here since moving and Amy did exactly what I wanted. I love it! Will be back
I had Sebastian do my hair for me, and oh my God it was the best decision ever, he gave me the new look i so desperately needed as well as an in depth explanation through every step in order to make sure i was happy with what was going on. He listened patiently as i was attempting to explain what i wanted, never had a better haircut especially since i have curly hair and a lot of people claim to know what they're doing but end up butchering it. Sebastian was a star, very kind and very sweet too, couldn't have asked for more, it turned out wat better than i thought
Had my hair cut by Sebastian who was friendly, knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted and didn’t create a rushed feeling. Overall, I was pleased with how he cut and styled my curly hair and explained the steps throughout and would check if I was happy with that. Staff at reception were friendly and I was seen to within minutes - would highly recommend!
I had the best time at this salon! Sebastian was the best and he was so knowledgeable about what kind of cut or style my hair needed. This has genuinely been the best haircut of my life. I have never known how to maintain or care for my curly hair but got so much advice. I was in awe at my natural curls and how he managed to style my hair. I have literally never seen it look better! The whole environment was super friendly and welcoming. Was recommended by a friend and will definitely recommend to others!
I get my hair cut every other month to maintain the length. AJ at Nicky Oliver is 1 of only 2 people who have EVER done my hair exactly how I would like!! He explained every step and why it works for my hair type (thick and curly). Very professional, yet super friendly and just overall great vibes. I think I just found my new salon !
Second time visiting for a cut with Nuala. Really good service, fast and friendly. I show a couple pics and she knows exactly what I want, super fuss free! Really happy with the cut, will gladly go again. Would highly recommended the salon/Nuala!
I’ve been going to Nicky Oliver since a year now and it’s been a really nice experience overall . As soon as you enter you are greeted by staff who are so warm and welcoming. My stylist , Sebastian is great too! I can completely trust him with my hair. He listens to what you need and gives great suggestions.

Had a cut and blow dry done by Sebastian. Was a really friendly and chatty stylist that talked me through each step he was doing. Come out with exactly what I asked for and the best my hair has looked. Would definitely recommend and return for sure! 😊💇🏽♀️
I had my hair done on Friday at Nicky Oliver's by Sebastian and it's absolutely stunning! My hair has never felt more healthy! If anyone is thinking of going I'd definitely recommend Sebastian as a stylist! Great guy, very knowledgeable and super friendly! He knew exactly what he was doing and even gave me tips on how to look after my hair! Highly highly recommended! ❤️

Had the loveliest experience with AJ today at Nicky Oliver, was so thorough, understanding of my hair type and condition (thick and curly but uses heat regularly)- he was able to recommend products that would suit my hair, and gave me tips on aftercare of my hair.
He worked quickly, yet so effectively and transformed my hair the exact way I had asked for it. Completely recommend the salon as the level of professionalism and customer service was also very high. Can’t wait to re book.

I had Lindsey who did a brilliant job with my hair.
Already having colour on my hair, I was quite nervous. It was toned and made darker to what I originally walked in with, with a great finish. The whole job was executed perfectly and was the exact desired result.
Lindsey really is nothing short of an expert professional. She consulted with me thoroughly before going through what was going to happen and left me walking out feeling ecstatic, and I cannot wait to return!

Dan is amazing both professionally (ie he does a good job) but also very likeable. I made a complete mess of my hair and created some accidental very choppy layers. He suggested some ways to fix it so it all flows better and he fixed it for me. My hair looks amazing and I feel soo much better for it!
One of the nicest haircuts I've ever had! My first time at Vox this week and Aiden was so lovely and talented! Having short hair I struggle to find hairdressers who really get what I want but Aiden made sure we were exactly on the same page with what I wanted and I could tell he just genuinely cared about me being happy with the cut. Plus was so easy to chat to! Phoenix was also lovely who washed my hair. Just generally lovely vibes in the salon, couldn't recommend more. Can't wait for my next one!
Decided to come to Supercuts after reading some positive reviews and wanted to leave my own. I was after a cheap, quick and good quality cut to take the weight off my dead ends - without breaking the bank like in most Manchester salons! I was sat down within 5 minutes by Tawny, who was really friendly and communicated with me about what I wanted, listening to my preferences whilst giving her own professional recommendations. She gave a lovely head massage while conditioning my hair and I really liked the hair cut and face framing. The only thing I’d say was the use of the spikey metal brush when blowdrying did scratch my face/ears but wasn’t a major problem. The salon had a friendly, relaxed atmosphere which I loved. Great price for a good cut, thanks! Will be coming back :)
Delighted with my hair cut today at Vox. Shakira is very attentive and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted with my style. It was great to have Aidan there as her co stylist as well. A great salon, friendly, cool vibe. Highly recommend! And they have the option for you to be a hair model for their students so you get a great discount haircut trained by the very best :)
I attended recently (25 March) for a colour package with Lynsey. I had a full head of highlights/root melt, something I've not tried before, but so far I'm really liking the results of. Lynsey listened carefully to what I wanted, talked me through all the options and we looked at pictures of how I wanted it cut and styled. I had a lot cut off the length and asked for lots of choppy layers. Something I feel a lot of hairdressers don't quite understand or execute as when my hair grows it ends up looking quite boxy and all one length. Anyway, Lynsey understood what I was asking for. And she's cut my hair in such a way, that I barely need to style it, yet it looks like I have made an effort with it. The last couple of hair washes since the appointment, I have used a hot brush once to blow my hair out and smooth the cuticles (I have naturally wavy, kinked, curly frizzy hair). then every day after, I can just tidy it up a bit with a normal brush, style it and it still has a lot of volume. It's not as tangly, it falls back into its waves/curl pattern, not as frizzy. Anyway, I'm super happy with the colour package and especially happy with the cut as I feel that Lynsey has really cut it exactly the way I'd envisioned. thank you Lynsey.
It was my first visit today and Leon was absolutely great! It was difficult to find a good salon to do my hair as it is a natural curl. The staff at vox hairdressing is very friendly and attends to customers. Leon even suggested what would work on making the hair smoother and for a new haircut! Thank you so much and I will definitely make it my usual saloon!
I’ve been going to Vox for over a year. It’s always absolutely amazing work! My stylist takes time to learn what I want, is honest about what is achievable and works with me to get the what I want. I’m super happy with the dye and cut every time

Linzy worked wonders on my hair, exceeding all my expectations and leaving me absolutely thrilled with the result. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional, making my visit comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. I am truly in love with my hair, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to visit Supercuts. My first visit today and Amy was absolutely fabulous! I have moved to Manchester 2 years ago and it was tricky to find someone new to do my hair! Ambience and friendliness of the venue is amazing. Beautiful space and incredible friendly team. I have my hair cut by Steph and coloured by Pat, they are super skilled and always great to talk to. The service, space and attention to detail at Whitworth Street Creatives is exceptional.
There is a reason I travel back to Manchester from London to get my hair done here! Every single member of the team are so welcoming and friendly that getting my hair done has finally become a fun experience again. I wouldn't have trusted anyone other than Pat and Morgan to sort my hair out before my wedding and then chop it all off afterwards. They outdo themselves every time I go and I love my new hair more each time.
There’s a reason why I travel all the way from London to get my hair done here and it’s because the team are amazing!! I’m always welcomed into the studio with huge smiles (especially from Harry, who is absolutely lovely and super attentive). I get my hair done by the amazing Sarah but you can see that everyone who works there is super passionate about what they do and love having a chat with the people that come in.
It’s a beautiful space that I never mind spending a few hours in. Highly recommend.

Needed a fresh cut for a wedding and the team were brilliant at fitting me in at short notice (my fault, sorry!). You could see the synergy between them all and they have created a warm, welcoming and relaxed place and other customers looked very happy with the results. Brilliant place to for a trim or a full rework.

Arrived for my appointment but the hairdresser had rang in sick. The owner was super nice and very professional. A pain to park nearby but I'm sure is worth it for the type of services they offer.

Imogen has being doing my hair for over 10 years now and I would never go anywhere else! I trust her to know exactly what will suit me and give the best advice on colouring and products. She has done a couple of dramatic re-styles for me over the years and I never walk away feeling anything but confident, beautiful and already excited for my next visit!
Imogen is amazing! I have been going to Imogen for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. She really understands what I want with my hair. She really is an expert in hair colour! I would recommend her to anyone.
Like a lot of Imogen's clients, I have also followed her from a variety of salons as her work is THAT incredible...I am yet to find another hairdresser that even comes close even after 6 years of visits!

My experience with Imogen is always more than a hair appointment, she is so warming and welcoming. I love the results every time I leave her salon, she is incredible at what she does and this shows in her work. I have always visited salons and businesses in the past, and have never enjoyed going to get my hair done as much as I do now!
Before Imogen I had never found a Hairdresser who I felt comfortable enough to see regularly. I now have a hairdresser who I trust and know will always understand what I am wanting in my hair (and there’s been a fair few changes..) I had an appointment with Imogen just after restrictions opened from lockdown 1.0 and I was really impressed with how clean, efficient and Covid19 compliant it was. It made me feel very safe and comfortable in the salon, especially with it being a one on one experience. The space is also a really calming atmosphere to spend time in.
If you’re looking for the best colourist in the city look no further. Imogen at The Apartment is professional, talented, switched on and an all round lovely person. Would not hesitate to recommend - counting down the days until my next appointment.

She wasn't even apologetic and didn't care that I BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT. I think thats very unprofessional and won't be coming back again.

Long waits (the last time I was there, I waited for 2 hours), really loud music, an almost non-existent system of whom is next in the queue, but the haircuts are splendid, and the barbers are friendly and attentive when cutting your hair.
Had my hair done today by Hayley very very happy 😊
