Would not honor a promotion that they issued me last time I went (there was no expiration date). As for the waxing, be prepared to go home to finish the job yourself. So much hair left behind
Went to Yohanna (who was amazing). I always hate going to get waxed but she made the process easy and painless! Truly was a great experience and when I go back, will definitely be going back to Yohanna - she was skilled, kind, and attentive! Could not recommend her more!!
The best threading and tinting I’ve found in Chicago! Staff was kind and did an excellent job shaping and tinting my brows. My new go to eyebrow place!
I walked in and waited very patiently for the lady to finish her friendly phone conversation. She never did. I waited and waited and then left. I am glad that I did, because the place is very dirty. So it worked out great.
Went here for a buddies Bachelor party and it was amazing! Service was fantastic, food was great. Had Sauna, cold bath and hot tub along with very comfy and peaceful places to just fall asleep. The bar was awesome and food was great. Massage was amazing! Did an hour and let me just say I felt so rejuvenated! Give them a try and relax your worries away!

Had my first visit at the EWC Southport location and it was great. My ethstie, Angel, was really nice and made me feel comfortable throughout. Aimee at the front desk was also nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.
I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and the only person I’ve ever gone to was Andrea. She is the most down the earth person. She makes you feel comfortable, she listens to you and she works fast and she REALLY good. I’m telling yall go to Andrea. She’s the best waxer there.

This was my first wax with Gabriella and I’ll for sure be rebooking with her again! Since my last waxer I’ve not felt entirely thrilled about going back to get a wax but after my service with Gabriella I feel so better about returning. She was incredibly nice throughout my service, made sure I was comfortable and she did an amazing job! Best waxer at this location, 10/10.
This place is horrible!! So we went here for my bachelorette party the lady at the counter was rude. Her and her friends looked at us like if we didn't belong in there or what were we doing in there.
We went to the bar order to drink and the bartender told me she couldn't understand me when I asked for a rum punch. Which is literally rum and fruit punch. I asked for amaretto sour she also didn't understand what that was either. And tell me the only thing I could order was off of their menu that had just a few mix drinks(about 7).
We went downstairs to actually go to the "spa" and they use the word "Spa" very Loosely... it was more like a locker room and a dirty one at that. We were going to get a massage but after seeing some of the rooms downstairs in the ladies spa area we were discouraged. There were places where they must have performed other spa services that were left dirty and gross. There was a lack of good hygiene being followed in the hot tub. Lots of foam was in the hot tub along with black dirt and probably dead skin cells floating around.
The sauna was very big but it was also dirty. The steam room was very small. We felt like we had gotten dirtier by partaking in any of the amenities at this place. Any videos or pictures of this place posted publicly or most likely posted by friends or family members of the employees and owners. Specifically because there are numerous signs saying that you're not allowed to videotape or record or take pictures and you'll be thrown out. So a video review I saw that was posted 3 days before us attending was apparently staged in which they cleaned the place properly before taking the video and giving it five stars. Not a true reflection of this place or its services.

This bathhouse is wonderful in every way. exactly what is needed. There is everything you might need in a bathhouse, including a sauna with wet steam and a steam room with dry steam. There is also a pool with hot water and, of course, a pool with ice water, in the literal sense of the word, the water is so ice cold that I will compare this water with the water in an ice hole, it’s very cool. There is also a section with a massage table. There are also sun loungers where you can take a nap. I was in this bathhouse during the day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and at that time there were practically no people. I recommend everyone to go to this bathhouse, I stayed in
I had a great first experience at this location. Jessica was amazing and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! She is very skilled and my wax came out awesome. The front desk staff was also very kind and attentive. I will definitely be back.
Very easy and convenient. I went late on a Tuesday and I think that's key if you want a quieter experience. I also got an 85 minute massage that was great. It's not the most appointed sauna I've been to but the price is also less. I recommend bringing your own toiletries. Hair dryers are provided.
I’ve been coming to this location for quite sometime. LaToya is the absolute best! She’s attentive and gentle. She talks through the process to make you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend going to LaToya especially if it’s your first time!
Sky was fantastic! She made me feel comfortable during my first wax, she provided helpful information, and she was detail oriented and went over spots more than once if a few hairs were missed due to them being short or thin. I will be booking with her again!
Lori is fantastic. Always friendly, always fast, always has your best interest in mind whether she recommends certain products or additional service. I look forward to coming every month to see her. I’ve hesitated to give a public review because I don’t need everyone else booking with her too (selfish I know) but she’s that good and everyone should know.
I have been going to European wax centers for awhile and always have a good experience but Jodi was the by far the best waxer I have ever had. I didn't know a Brazilian could be that painless. Already recommended her to all my friends
Love the staff at the Chicago-Streeterville location! The customer service is great and the facility is always really clean. Special shout out to my wax specialist Maya! First booked with her because she was available for the time slot I needed. So glad I did because she is amazing! My first time here. Elizabeth was whom I made my appointment with based on reviews. I had a wonderful experience. Elizabeth is very attentive, listens to your concerns and makes sure to make your experience comfortable.The young lady at the front desk Alexxis was fabulous as well, Alexxis went above and beyond by getting me a deal with my services I wasn't aware of. Diamond was great! My session with her was quick, smooth, and relatively painless! And her music really helped make me feel calmer during the wax
I got a 90 minute massage with G and it was excellent. Very professional and personable. I asked for deep pressure and he delivered. A vigorous but still relaxing technique with great stretching and reflexology. The room was also clean and comfortable. They add a 15 percent gratuity to all services, but will remove it if asked and you can tip in cash. G definitely earned a 20 percent tip! Highly recommend.
I have been here a few times and had great experiences, but moved two years? ago so it wasn’t as convenient for me to get to. When the place I had been going to closed for the month of August, I booked a massage at Reflexion figuring I would receive the same level of massage I had received previously. While the massage was fine, my biggest issue was that I was only given a towel to cover myself with that left me feeling exposed and uncomfortable at various points during the massage. The masseuse also used incredibly rough washcloths to wipe off the lotion/oil from the massage that left my skin feeling raw. While I am hoping it was a fluke from my previous experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to Reflexion again.
My daughter and I see Lori at EWC. We’ve never been disappointed with our eyebrows. Always loved the work. Lori even convinced me to try the eyebrow tint and was pleasantly surprised how good it came out and get it done at every visit. Highly recommend Lori!!

I love Elizabeth at European Wax Lincoln Square. She’s friendly and gentle. When I get waxed by her it lasts longer, because she’s very precise and thorough. She’s quite skilled in her work. 💯 recommend her.

Maya was amazing! She accommodated me and made me feel comfortable. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and she made sure I was comfortable at all times and she was very courteous.
I went here in a staff retreat and the service was amazing. The manager made every effort to accommodate 5 of us in short notice including ensuring we jade 5 female massage therapists. We got the Swedish massages which left us feeling rested and rejuvenated. The prices were great especially for an hour massage. Great location in the heart of magnificent mile. Thank you Renee!
My first experience with waxing, and all of the employees made me feel welcomed and comfortable! Walked me through every-step, never made me feel pressured to purchase any extra products (even though I did) because Carli recommended them to me. Carli also was awesome! Made sure I was taking deep breaths in, and made sure I was comfortable with the rest of the process! To say the least, I walked out making sure I was scheduled for my next appointment!
I will have come back and update this to add the technician’s name, but it was the best wax I’ve ever had. Not painful in the least! Took her time and did it right. She did a fabulous job. 10 stars! ✨ ⭐️

I haven’t been to European waxing in a long time, I still had some wax passes left so I decided to use one. Dionne was excellent. She was efficient fast and did a great job. The only reason why I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5 is the price increase. I have been a customer for about 10 years and the price increase in the last 3 years has been way too much. Don’t think I’ll be renewing any wax passes as the prices don’t see reasonable anymore.
What an incredible team! My sister, cousin, and I planned out a spa weekend to Chicago with De La Vie providing massages, facials, and pedicures. We were very impressed by their attention to detail, professional advice, and warm spirits. Highly recommend if you are visiting Chicago and want a memorable experience.

Carli is my go to girl! She makes every appointment go by quickly & as pain free as possible because of how she incorporates breathing into each pull. Leaving me without a hair insight every time. She’s thorough and kind. The receptionists are great at communicating as well! All around the best wax center I’ve been to.

Diamond was absolutely incredible. I had my first official Brazilian and when I say first official that means I got a botched painful job in the past and was very apprehensive about trying again (at a different business not European Wax). I called initially and spoke with Onika. She was very kind and answered questions. Once I got there with Diamond I let her know I was afraid. She was very reassuring. She was quick and I experienced minimal pain. Good music, vibes, and conversation. Definitely will be back.
Have been coming here for years, and can't imagine going to another waxing place. Sofia is amazing; it's always a great experience - not only is her waxing process smooth and she explains everything, but her personable approach is great if you're a newer client. Highly recommend, and definitely try to ask for Sofia! But... I've gone to other waxers here too, and honestly they're all really great!

Love this location. I have one less than 5 minutes away but I will travel to this one every time. The women at the front desk are always welcoming and nice. I always see Aeja for my waxes. Joanna was awesome! I’ve gotten waxed here a bunch of times and I still get pretty anxious because it always hurts (I have a low pain tolerance), but Joanna made me feel at ease the whole time with light conversation. :)
I had my first session with Belle this afternoon and she was lovely. Quick, efficient, and friendly, and it was the least painful wax I’ve had yet. I’m plus size so I’m always a little apprehensive initially but I felt at ease with her immediately. I’m not sure what the girl at the front desk’s name was but she was very nice too.
Dominique did a good job at making me feel comfortable. Not many places take males and I was happy to find someone in the city. We had good conversation and she gave me some good recommendations for products.

My first wax at the Elston location, and Rachel was fan-freaking-tastic. So friendly and kind. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She did a wonderful job, and I actually enjoyed getting waxed because the conversation was so funny! I'm definitely going to be booking with Rachel again!

Went to Cristina for my first-ever Brazilian, and she was amazing! The waxing didn’t take long at all, and Cristina was warm, friendly and professional. Made me feel a lot better about my first time since I was nervous! Highly recommend her and EWC.

As always she was friendly and professional. She scheduled me with Mary who was able to accommodate my appointment. She is detailed oriented and personable which made the experience positive (as positive as a waxing can be).
Overall this location has a great staff and I hope they’re able to retain it.

For your eyebrows, I can only speak for Carli, since she was the first person I was introduced to, and I would not go to anyone else!! Not only were my eyebrows beautiful afterward, but the whole exchange was so pleasant. She really makes the trip worth it and I look forward to seeing her at my future appointments!

Lorena aka Lori was absolutely amazing! I have been going to her since September and every time she does a great job. I know a lot of women are afraid of the Brazilian waxing but she does it in a way that is painless and very quick. I’m always in and out within 15 probably less. She’s very attentive and especially when it comes to the eyebrow waxing she is phenomenal and there is no redness or irritating feeling. She takes her time with you and makes sure you are always comfortable. She’s the best ladies! Book that appointment! This location in Lincoln Park is great too!

Quick and great service. Got my nails done in gel and my eyebrows waxed in less than an hour. It was easy to make an appointment for the same day. Reasonable prices for Lincoln Park area.
I called them on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to fit me in in the evening. Wonderful customer service! The atmosphere of the spa is relaxing and smells great. My Tui Na massage was top notch. I was really sore going into it and came out feeling physically and mentally refreshed.
Went several times for deep tissue. This place is amazing! All the ladies here are so sweet (especially the receptionist) and the massages are outstanding. They are really good at asking what you are specifically looking for in each session. Prices are reasonable too!

By far the best salon in the city. Originally followed my manicurist, , but soon was introduced to all the wonderful services they offer. Their amazing staff are both knowledgeable and helpful in customizing the exact services and product that are right for you. My skin has never looked better or been more complimented. A wonderful experience to say the least.

Sometimes when I get facials I feel like the staff does a good job of spreading stuff on my face to clean it and add moisturizer. That's fine, I enjoy it. This is not a default practice at this place. The staff is skilled and knowledgeable about different products and treatment methods. The custom recommendations for me were so on point. My stressed skin shone after my treatment.
I've been to many massage spots throughout Chicago, Reflexion is by far my favorite. Their attention to detail is impressive, you never feel rushed, and they really care to make you feel great walking out of there. The Tui Na is great for anyone who is active. Calming music, personal rooms, hot towels, and nice massage lotion vs oil. Most of all, nice people!
I got a manicure on October 19th (almost a month ago) and you can see in the picture how the polish is still intact and my nails have grown a lot!!

First time I have used this spa. It was lovely. The services were fantastic. Anna did my massage and facial. My friend had Renee do their facial. We were both very pleased. We are going back.
I can't say enough positive things about this place. It's gorgeous, soothing, and clean inside. Vicki gave me probably the best massage I have ever experienced in a lifetime of therapeutic massage - not only did she regularly check in verbally, but she reacted sensitively to how my body was feeling, using different techniques for different issues (including some I had never experienced and will be adding to my own repertoire). The price is about $15 more than I am used to per hour, but the quality of the space and service more than covered that difference. I will be back again and again.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I received a gift certificate for a 30 min massage, 30 min facial, and pedicure! What a wonderful experience. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere and very kind personnel. I really enjoyed my time there and am extremely satisfied with the service. I’ll be going again! :)
I highly recommend Renee Day Spa. I called about 3 weeks ahead of time to schedule a couples massage and manicure for me and my 4 year old. Yes, it sounds totally ridiculous, and perhaps it was, but my daughter and I had the most amazing experience. The massage was amazing, and I have had hundreds of massages. They probably thought we were crazy when we walked in, but we were treated professionally and the services were top notch. They ask for your credit card when you book, which was perfectly acceptable. I will definitely be back
Cheryl Ann is incredible! She was very professional and so kind. I felt comfortable my entire visit. Also the most precise and fastest wax I've ever had. The business is very clean and sanitary as well. Highly recommend The Waxing Room and Cheryl Ann!
I had a great experience with CherylAnn! She was friendly and professional and did a great job with my Brazilian. This place is designed like Salon Lofts where different small businesses have their own booths or rooms of sorts. CherylAnn's space with very clean and inviting while remaining private. I will definitely be returning to her!
The salon is very clean with a relaxing atmosphere, and CherylAnn is professional and kind- all around a great vibe. I went to CherylAnn for my first Brazilian wax, and I was so satisfied with my results that I just finished booking my 3rd appointment with her. I highly recommend this location!
Easy 0/5 stars rating. Fiancé and her sister arrived yesterday and the spa was completely different from advertised. As you can see in the pictures provided the floor is dirty, sheets are dingy and the overall quality of the rooms was very poor. There are cameras that completely go against any type of ethical values of privacy and the pictures on the website and google are completely false advertisement. After mentioning to the owner that they were uncomfortable with the room and didn’t want to continue with the massage, the owner denied them a full refund. Due to urgent travel necessities we had to leave with not even full credit on a company gift card. The full amount for the couples massage, $230 was taken and never returned. The owner was exceptionally rude and uncooperative and overall a terrible first experience with this spa. If you expect your money to be taken regardless of receiving your service or not I guess you can give them a try otherwise I would highly recommend you avoiding this spa.
CherylAnn is the best! I’ve been getting brazilian waxes for over ten years from different places and just recently came to her and I will never go to anyone else! She is fast and professional and there is no pain! She is truly gifted

I came right on time for my appointment and the lady who did my waxing was was friendly and took her time. The waxing session it was a little painful but she tried to relax and put me at ease. She also did my eyebrows for $12 and it looked great just the way I like it! Good service and friendly staff! Decently priced!
Andrea always takes such great care of me. She's great at making a potentially scary wax experience quick, easy, and most of all as Pain Free as possible.

Great massage from Rose. Great pressure. I got 90 min hybrid massage for $128. I didn't like the receptionist asking me about a tip when I was paying. That turned me off but the massage was awesome and I was very comfortable in the space as with Rose my therapist.
Love this place. Owner is extremely nice and does a great job threading and dyeing eyebrows. My 12 year old got Henna Tattoo on her hand. Owner did a fast excellent job. I highly recommend this place.
Very nice place, I really like all the different kinds of waxes they offer. I've never gotten my lady parts waxed with hard wax before, but it makes it almost painless! I got a full brazilian, and I wasn't even red after! I also really like the staff, the receptionist and Tiffany(the woman who waxed me) were both very friendly. I highly recommend.
I love the waxing room! Its clean, professional, has great parking, and usually they can get you in on the same day. Sabrina does an amazing job. I was in full on panic mode when i went for my first Brazilian wax, but she made me feel incredibly comfortable and went to great lengths to make it as painless as possible. She explains what she's going to do before she does it and does the "ice, snatch, press" with a countdown. All my waxes have been 100% perfect. This is the place to go for all of your waxing needs!
