The best salon experience I’ve had! Dionne was amazing, she was very thorough with our consultation and made sure I left with my desired look. Everyone was very attentive and so kind. Looking forward to coming back!
"Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this Salon. The haircut I received was nothing like what I asked for, and it's left me in tears since then. Not only did it not match the style I wanted, bangs that do not stay back, with uneven lengths and choppy layers. It's going to take a while for my hair to grow out and regain its shape. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this salon if you're looking for a reliable and skilled hairstylist."
dionne did such an incredible job with my hair today!!! 💖 i was totally nervous before i got to the salon, as i haven't had a cut by a professional in a long, long time... but it was such a friendly space, and she immediately made me feel at ease. she's so kind and affirming, and i'm absolutely stoked about my new look~ ✨ couldn't recommend her enough!!!
It always tough to do Malias hair, today we went to our favorite place Nu Du Salon! They just won three years in a row The Best Salon in Long Beach! Here’s why I believe they own up to the title…
Malia always has had a fear of cutting or doing anything to her hair because it’s so hard to manage. Paul,Meredith and Shannon and their team talked to Malia step by step the process and told her why she needs to have it cut and maintained. They did a fantastic job and even stayed after closing to make sure it was perfect and she was happy.
It means a lot to me not to rush a job just because she’s a little girl, they have passion and heart and understanding. Thank you for always being there for us and thank you for being the best!

My experience with Mickey at Dean Anthony Salon was a tale of two visits. Initially, she executed the haircut I desired, but on my second visit, the outcome fell short of expectations. Despite clear instructions, Mickey cut my front hair too short and neglected to incorporate the requested layers. What further disappointed me was her response to my feedback, which felt unprofessional. Made an appointment, showed up 3 minutes late. My first time here and there was a big guy sitting in the first chair right when you walk in. He told me I was 5 minutes late and that he can’t see me anymore. It was clearly an ego play, I didn’t argue and walked out. I can tell he was trying to be an alpha and wanted me to apologize. I don’t mind apologizing, but I didn’t appreciate his approach. Very odd and definitely won’t be back here again.
I absolutely fell in love with Dionne! They listened and heard me. They also gave me one of my best cuts in years. Very reasonably priced!
Look for a traditional barber shop and I found them right around the corner. Zuko got me in in an emergency walkin. I found my new barber!

Dee Dee Thai Spa is my go to when I need a massage in Long Beach, they are the best. If you like deep tissue and Thai massage combo, I recommend Jenny, she is amazing!

Booked to put super basic lowlights in. They were not competent to do it.
I love this place. Everyone is so warm & friendly & Alauna is AMAZING 🤩. She always takes lots of time explaining & showing me how I can style my hair many ways, recommends great products & overall is just a wonderful person. I once went to her the day before two events I had to attend out of town she made sure she styled my hair to last 3 days looking 100 percent. Totally recommend NUDU & Alauna.
Today was a great relaxing time. Ron gave awonderful massage and Christina a great facial. I felt like a new person at the end!
My friend always had the most beautiful color and style, so much so that I had to have her stylist, Dionne work her magic on my hair. I am loving what she has done. I usually fix my hair the same way, same color. But Dionne has moved me to new ways of styling my hair, new tones to my color. Added to her amazing hair styling superpowers, she also has a kind, caring, zen demeanor. You will love her.

We just moved to the area and I needed to find a new place to get my partial highlights done. I love the ease of booking online for a time that works for you and they had a decent amount of slots to choose from. I booked with Debbie and she did not disappoint! My hair came out perfect, she was very easy to talk to and they have wifi so I could get some work done at the same time. Highly recommend Debbie!

One of the worst Supercuts...butI guess I should expected that. This was the third time I have signed up online and when I arrive I am not on their appointments list. The worst part this time I waited 30 minutes before even having eye contact or asked if I was waiting...and there were two stylists available... do better....
Lay was an amazing masseuse. I got the 60 minute Swedish massage and she found all of the right places to work. I feel so much more relaxed after this session. I would definitely recommend Dee Dee Thai Spa and request Lay if she is available!
I made an appointment with Jenny. She is very professional and cared about what she did. She had to fix the mess someone else did to my hair. She was amazing and the results were evident and better than what I expected. I’d definitely recommend her!

Thought the Fade would be better. Chill shop. A bit more black and whire then Greyscale. Paid for an okay cute. I have really easy hair to cut so its a bit disappointing that the service and execution was sub par for the price.

Called to speak with stylist about a lack luster Brazilian retouch. This is after I had come in to show my hair reaults. I was left on hold for 26 minutes. I hung up and called back and was greeted immediately. This was not acceptable, nor was my hair complaint addressed.
Been going to them for over 40 years, can't see me changing now!!

I always feel appreciated and have always had a great cut. I've never had to tell the stylists they haven't cut as much as I'd asked for or anything else. Always a great job. They're all chatty and happy too. Great place.
Maisie was amazing!! I came in with box dye and got partial highlights and they came out amazing. Everyone in the salon was so nice and made you feel welcomed! Would recommend 10/10 to everyone

This is a place off the beaten path, yet it has a really hip vibe to it. Guys with beards who like the crisp look, you’ll love this place!
Availability : I would encourage to call ahead and book an appointment. As for walk-in’s..it’s only if theres an availability that day.

I was pleased by this location. I scheduled my appointnesss online, walked in and was greeted by Jullian. She was super sweet and welcoming towards myself and my guide dog. Thanks, Jullian, for such a phenomenal job with my hair and brows. I will be back.
Put me in on tight notice - just be mindful it’s cash only. I got deep tissue and I’m a big guy but the women there are so friendly and really know what they are doing. I highly recommend this place. It’s around the side of the bakery and up a flight of stairs.
So excited I found this place. The front desk staff are very nice, and offer you a drink when you arrive for your appointment. I've never had to wait long, my stylist has always been on time.
Kyle takes the time to really make my hair look amazing. From haircuts to coloring, I've always been impressed with his technique and outcomes. He's friendly and fun to talk with as well.

A staple of Long Beach and the barbershop for clean cut. Chris is always accommodating for my last minute needs and I leave feeling so fresh and so clean. Not a bad idea to get there early for a beer next door!
Chris R. was my stylist when I recently visited. He did a great job understanding what I wanted based on a picture I showed him. He was a professional, cut the hair cleanly, and got me comfy with my first hard part. Also a great guy to talk to.

Jill is the BOMB. She took me from dark roots and yellow throughout to super ashy blonde and my hair was in much better condition when I left even after all the bleach!
This is a great place for a Thai massage (probably any style of massage). I have been getting Thai style massage for years ( in Ontario) so when I get a good massage I know it. Price is good and the lady who gave me my massage was extremely skillful.
My experience was great! Nathan was my barber and he made me feel very comfortable there. He gave me exactly the haircut that I asked for and cleaned my neck up very nicely. 10/10 would recommend.
