If you’re in the Vaughan area and looking for a Mediterranean restaurant I highly recommend to check out La Grill as their food is always fresh and their grill flavours are out of this world.

I loved it! Fresh ingredients, delicious bread. Hummus so fresh and thick, I got a Chicken Shawarma sandwich and it was amazing!

Honestly the best chicken and beef steak kabob in the greater Toronto area! The food is so amazing here! We celebrated my son’s baptism here and this restaurant is amazing not only for the food, but also to host family events at as their food is so good and their service is fantastic as well. I’be been coming here since I was younger, here I am as an adult enjoying my son’s baptism party at this lovely restaurant! Thank you La Grill.

Wonderful dinner for a retiring colleague. Large banquet venue that doubles as restaurant when not reserved for event. We were a small group of 9. Had combo dinners for 4, great variety of appetizers, salads and main dishes. Generous portions, food excellent. Servers friendly and accommodating. Try it out!

Great tasting food and the staff is super friendly. The owner Christine is always super accommodating even on days when they are totally booked, she still manages to help me out with take out orders. The food has remained unchanged and taste the same as it did over a decade ago. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality middle eastern cuisine!!!

Food is always a hit! Have ordered platters from Nohadra for a few occasions, and it’s always consistent, tasty, fresh and top quality. I recommend and will continue to order from here.

The food here is impressive, especially the tabbouleh and meat dishes. We visited with a large group and had a great experience. However, this place feels more like a venue or banquet hall than a traditional restaurant. It might not be the best choice for a date or a casual meal, but it's ideal for celebrating special occasions with a large group.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and we were so pleased to see the falafel made to order! The bread, the soup and the whole meal was awesome- very surprised by the negative reviews, we were very happy with our experience.

It used to be a place where they served great shawarma. Then the owners changed in the last 6 months and now it's really bad. I wouldn't go here again.

First time and definitely won't be the last. Came in on Friday before closing and tried their falafel wrap. It was amazing!!! The portion is big (could feed 2) and the price is on point ($16 tax included). The owner was extremely kind and offered free samples, fries and drinks as I was their last customer. You cannot get better food and service than this. 10/10 would recommend!!

The absolute best shawarma place in the GTA. I’ve been coming here for the last 12 years and it is consistently the best food I’ve ever eaten. The service and owners are incredible, super sweet and kind people. I cannot recommend this place more - it is worth any drive and the food is always made fresh to order.

Most amazing shawarma wrap I’ve ever had. Got the big shawarma wrap and it lives up to the name. We chose our toppings and look away, when we look back we see a mountain of chicken. Even the atmosphere was great, the staff were extremely nice and kind.

I am so pissed. This was my second time ordering from uber eats. both time you guys missed my order. I order two chicken on rox and got only one. same thing happened the first time. I should not have ordered again from you guys. unbelievable.

Great chicken shawarma! The wrap doesn't look huge in hand but it's big on satisfying the hunger!

Generous meat/veggie ratio of about 50/50. The chicken came out of a hot tray but was moist and tasty. The combination of the sauce and soft bread melts in your mouth and along with the crunchy veggies it's a sure winner.

The staff were friendly and hygienic with the prep. This place just screams mom & pop and could use a bit of upkeep, but overall it's great.

The wrap was toasted in it's wrapper which seemed a little strange and did cause it to stick to the wrapper a bit. Not a biggie.

New ownership, absolutely terrible food. Shawarma was not wrapped well at all and fell apart. Not that it matters - it didn't taste good and was a total waste of money.

Had a great experience eating here. Owner is very welcoming and passionate about preparing your order. They gave out samples of the shawarma while they made our food, the sandwich had a ridiculous amount of chicken added. All sauces and ingredients very fresh. I don’t normally remember to leave a review but I was truly blown away from my experience here.

This tasted so authentic and the combo is worth it. You could feed a family of 4 for $20 nice.

Meat was so flavorful but ease up on the rice, it's a bit much. The soup is good one it's own or mixed with the lentil soup. Soft pillowy bread and nice tang from the pickled veggies and red onions.

Service was on the slower side. Not that busy when we arrived but there is so much to pack for a combo it's a feast so understandable trade off.

I totally understand the comments about slow service. They do take their time, so plan to wait a few minutes. Not because they are slow, but because they take the time to make you feel like not just a customer, but a friend. From the first time and everytime I go in there they make you feel special. Other places should definitely take note.
I've been going here for about 6 years. Usually get the chicken shawarma They never disappoint. Went in on a Friday just before closing. Chicken on the spit was basically done. They offered me falafel instead, but topped it with the remaining chicken. I have never had a wrap this size. A little pricey ($15) but worth it. Definitely two meals in one for someone who doesn't eat massive meals. They even gave me a free can of coke just for praising the food and service. I will continue to go and support them.

My husband has been going to this place for years. He introduced me to it about 4 years ago, and I can definitely understand his obsession with it. Their food is always made to order and is quite tasty. Their toppings are always fresh. This father-son duo is doing an incredible job! They're always in a good mood and accommodating to requests. Their house sauces are all delicious and unique, the mango is our favourite. The meat/protein and toppings are stacked generously, regardless of whether you get a wrap or a dinner. They tear part of the wrapper so that it can be opened easily. Once the dad even cut up my shawarma into "sushi" for me, so it was easier to eat. Lovely little place. No complaints whatsoever. 5/5 highly recommend this hidden gem.

Im sorry but not coming here again. This restaurant was very busy with previous owners but with this new owner lots has changed for worse. Absolutely horrible and old food served to me today... went and spoke to the owner and made all the excuses in the world instead of accepting the facts... just at this liquid in my rice????? What a Waste of time and money...

Apr 2023: So, I went to this place may be 10th time today. Alex and Gadi continue to serve with smile and nice little gestures like giving chocolates to ladies, and complements to couples. There is no compromise on QUALITY and QUANTITY, i love this place so much because of these reasons. I ordered falafal plate and check the photo quantity and presentation. I mean no other pita place can match this outlet. Simply AWESOME

If you are looking for best falafal place in GTA then go here. You will feel the positive energy as soon you enter the restaurant. This is all because of smiles from owners - Gadi and Alex.
They will greet u with a smile, prepare the food with jokes and dance and then finally make sure that u get the taste u r looking for. Unlike many falafal places, quantity is not an issue here. Their single wrap is sufficient to eat in 2 meals. Taste is marvellous and you will come out of this place feeling contented on pocket and tummy. Loved it. Thanks Gadi and Alex for this great experience

Our experience at La Grill for my sisters wedding was OUTSTANDING. Christina was so amazing and helpful throughout the entire booking/planning process. She was always available to talk and was extremely helpful with decor and seating. Her team was incredible the day of the event. The food was delicious and was still hot when it was served. The whole day exceeded my expectations and we were all so happy with how everything turned out. We can't wait to book our next event here. And its worth mentioning that everything is newly renovated and is very bright and inviting. If you are considering booking an event here there is no doubt in my mind that Christina will make it perfect.

We ordered food today , it was awful food, it wasn’t eatable, when we called store they just avoiding our calls and when we asked about refund they declined it. The manager is very rude with us. Never gonna to buy food from here, not gonna to recommend anyone this place. They have no courtesy how to talk with customer.

UPDATE December 2022

This restaurant is under new ownership, and is much worse than the 5 star review I gave the previous owners. The food is now terrible, portion is worse, and the service was horrible. It’s a shame, I asked the new owner for some garlic sauce and he replied very rudely it’s already there. I would not normally go to the trouble to edit this review but it’s THAT bad and I wish I had known before. Miss the smiling and happy gentleman that used to work here.

My new go-to for shawarma in Vaughan/Woodbridge. I've been here twice before and had a good dinner specials, so we decided to order a $60 family meal to celebrate my daughter's first birthday. I was really pleased at the quality and amount of food provided. The rice was perfect, tasty. Both lamb and chicken were tender and juicy, and good portions. I appreciated everything being ready for pickup as I was running late. The owner even helped take the food to my car. A good value, there are a lot of great specials here. I've tried a lot of other places since moving here and while others have been hit or miss, the personal touch here will keep me returning.

You guys will love this place!! Great customer service (Zad), a big amount of delicious food very tasteful, very clean, highly recommend this restaurant!

Fair portion of Shawarma , $9 with pop . Taste was better than average . Not very filling . Server was in a rush . Lady at counter was polite and wished everyone nicely . Was good over all but lacked the punch to get 5 star . I would give 3.5 but not 3 or 4 .
