Went in to buy the full chicken meal. The meat was delicious, just a bit dry but nice none the less. I was served by a friendly young lady and waited for 15 minutes or so and my order was ready. Whilst I waited for my order, other people were enjoying eating inside the restaurant and having a wonderful time. The ambiance is awesome also. The menu has a lot of variety and options to choose from. The place is also so clean👌👌🫶🫶

The service is amazing. The first time i went there i ordered a mixed grill for 2 and was a little disappointed by it... The wrap meal was quite nice.
The second time around i ordered the full chicken, chips and salad which i had noticed was a favourite among the customers on my last visit... it was indeed deserving of being customer favourite, i loved it. Also ordered with a t-bone meal.. it was really nice.

The chicken dishes were sublime and the pizza. Beef dishes were OK (ordered the mixed grill and chicken fillet menu items). Tracy, waitress, was superb despite the restaurant being rather busy for both sit downs and take aways. Great value for money. Would definitely visit again.

What an amazing dining experience, from the moment you walk in it feels like you in another environment. Saw this place on Tiktok and we went to go try the food for ourselves. What blew us away was that everything on the menu is so affordable and we tried 2 different meals which both are extremely tasty and delicious. The natural pineapple juice was so yummy honestly we couldn’t get enough of it. For us this place definitely 5 out 5 for food , service , venue. We are coming back for more

Amman Restaurant in Fordsburg is a hidden gem for those who love Middle Eastern cuisine.

One of the standout dishes at Amman is their grilled chicken tikka. The juicy and tender chicken is marinated in a blend of spices that gives it a rich, flavorful taste. The homemade Turkish bread complements the chicken perfectly, making it a perfect match. Also the chips on side was actually delicious.

While the food is fantastic, the service is unfortunately a bit slow, which can be frustrating for those who are in a hurry. Recommend if you are in the Fordsburg area.

Best chicken tikka meal with laffa bread. My standard order is the chicken cubes meal. Great avocado smoothie as well.

Great food - Absolutely loved the food and I am yet to have a bad experience food wise

Negatives - Service is Horrible. You will Wait a good 20 minutes sitting at a table waiting for a waiter or waitress to serve you, and then again for the food (waiting for the food is not the negative)

Unfortunately you will be pestered by homeless persons while you eat, and they sometimes come into the restaurant and to the tables

There are two toilets 1 allocated to ladies and the other to men, Its not really clean, the floors are wet, sometimes there's no toilet paper.

The food is genuinely good though and not badly priced.

AMAANS QUALITY AND SERVICE HAS SERVERELY DROPPED.

My family waited over an hour to be seated, another family came in and then seated themselves on at a table that they were clearing for us, they then sat us outside. The tables were utterly Filthly and we asked them to please wipe the tables and chairs but they didn't. Another family again eventually sat next to us and their table and chairs were cleaned before us.

We placed our order and waited like 60 minutes for the order just slightly over, only to be served RAW chicken. We were so utterly disappointed. None of us ate the chicken.

We generally go for the Avo
And date drink, but even that was horrible. We were served like milk and dates and the drink had no taste at all.

Really sad.
