Very friendly people on a beautiful Thai sunny morning. Always a nice walk in the morning.
Loved this place. Stumbled on it by accident. Very unusual in a great way. You must go and see it. Met a monk there who had very good English who was able to give some history of the place.
Throughly enjoyed my visit and as usual came away feeling calm and relaxed.

Picturesque with interesting old buildings. Rather quiet at night, shops close early. Some decent restaurants with river views, apparently none with AC.
Lovely neighborhood and lovely people! You have to walk around the alleys next to the river, try different desserts and learn the story of those people. Highly recommended!!
There's not much to see in Chantaburi. This one is the star attraction but frankly no where near anyones expectations and that is largely because of lavk of any form of maintenance barring a couple of houses here or there. You can opt to walk down the road on the other side of the river but beware of a large pack of stray dogs, it can be scary.
Overall you wont miss much if you skipped Chantaburi altogether.

An alley with 1 to 2 km. distance, which you have to share the road with all vehicles. This old community comprised old style houses along the canal. Some are changed into shops, restaurants, and cafes. Only some restaurants open when we arrived on Sunday at the late evening. It's not that much unique, however it's worthwhile to stroll and take a look. Anyway, for energetic and adventurous people including who love the modernity this place might not suitable for you.
