I recently hosted my mehndi ceremony at the community center, and I cannot express how amazing the experience was, thanks to the exceptional support from the receptionist, Steward. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond, helping me with planning the decorations and offering valuable suggestions that made everything look perfect. he kept me updated on the progress throughout the day, which gave me peace of mind. Steward answered all my questions patiently and even assisted my decorators to ensure everything was on point. Without her, I would have been so stressed, but instead, she made the entire day smooth and stress-free. The venue itself was beautiful, but it was Steward incredible care and attention that truly made my day special. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this community center for any special event.
I had a birthday party at the community center, and I can't thank the receptionist enough for her incredible support. Despite me not feeling well and persistently asking questions, she was always patient and kind, answering every query without hesitation. She went out of her way to help with the planning, offering guidance and ensuring everything was taken care of. Her dedication and willingness to provide support made the entire process so much easier for me. I am truly grateful for all her help, and I highly recommend this venue, especially because of the amazing staff who make all the difference.
Hall space was a decent size for a community hall. Not too pricey to rent. Everything went well on my booking. I liaised with the reception staff and she was very friendly and helpful. Her communication was clear throughout my time being there. It is a shame that the car park is also for public use as its connected to the park. Overall no complaints my guest enjoyed themselves.
I hired it out for my childs birthday. The space was perfect for it. Receptionist was very helpful with all our needs. Will recommend it and use their services again.
First time using this venu and very very good service, we had an event here last month the staff were extremely helpful pulled out all the stops for our event. The staff were very polite and helpful would highly recommend.
This hall has some good childhood memories attached with good service however very disappointed to see how things have taken a bad turn. The lady at reception is unhelpful with a; ‘I don’t care attitude’. Very unprofessional lady! The hall size & location is good however management is not great. We turned up to a blocked sink. No toilet roll for guests & a few other issues that experienced venue management should know about. Upon raising issues, nothing was acknowledged. Infact the opposite of being told that someone from us blocked the sink. Will not be booking again unfortunately.
Very disappointed with the service provided by the receptionist.
She needs to learn how to talk respectfully.
She is very arrogant and rude!

She blocked the car park entrance and caused major traffic all because she couldn’t find a parking space inside the car park for her precious little blue BMW.

The management needs to remove her before they lose more business!

Her attitude and behaviour towards customers is appalling!
Attended an event on Sunday 19th August 2024. The asian lady that works there blocked my car for over an hour. I had so much trouble finding out who parked with such inconsideration. I was shocked to find out it was actually an employee. She did not even apologise for causing so much disruption. My kids were so distressed from waiting for so long. She is not a good representation of the Tyseley Community Hall that we have been attending for over 20 years. She was soo rude.
I love it here! Decor atmosphere, customer service and the food are all at a high standard. We always go for loaded nachos because they're the best nachos I've ever had! And I'm not a nacho person. Real tortilla nachos not doritos. The sizzlers are good, but a little too spicy. Steak was cooked nicely but the mash tasted like 'smash'? Their pizzas are lovely! Almost as good as real New York pizza. I ordered tagliatelle with chicken and mushroom which was nice, I've ordered this before and it's good if you like dryer pasta dishes.. it's not dripping in sauce - but it has a kick to it, jt could be chilli but I think it's black pepper?
I have a broken leg, so our group was moved to a table more axxessible for me as I'm on crutches. My needs were recognised instantly and catered to efficiently. The staff were lovely and even took time to make sure exerything was good and interacted and played with the kids and gave them a balloon each. The kitchen gave us a free pizza as the first ine that came out for the kids was 'too small'.. even though it looked like a normal sized kids pizza? But that I thought was nice of them. I would recommend visiting. Definitely try the machos, pizza and lasagne (my usual). Their peri peri chicken was nice too but there was so much food we had to take it home. Portions are decent for sure. The only reason I didn't give 5☆ is because it's not as great as the original Farros in Nottingham, and because the mash wasnt great. But seriously - do try and reply to this review if you ordered any of the things I mentioned!
Thank you Rana and Iqbal for providing us with a great service for my nieces mendhi. You were both very professional and able to accommodate our request.

Iqbal himself helped out on the day to make sure everything went smoothly.
Not only were we happy but our guest left very happy to.
I can highly recommend Piccadilly for any occasion.

Once again thank you Rana and Iqbal.

Absolutely stunning venue, as soon as I started wedding planning and saw this venue I thought to myself this is where I want to have my big day. Unfortunately the worst possible service - turned up to the venue on three different occasions for PRE-PLANNED appointments arranged with the staff; driving an hour to the venue each time and each time they will tell you available as soon as you arrived they will oh it’s already booked not only one time happened 3 times. They don’t check up the date you looking for and one of them they will say it’s available as soon as you arrived the other will say sorry it’s booked zero communication between them and there was nobody there (usually just staff cleaning up / setting up) and they were not expecting us. There is gentleman who was there each time and was very apologetic - unfortunately this meant nothing as every time following the same thing happened.

As beautiful as it looks, I just couldn’t bring myself to giving business to a venue who think that they are that superior that they could waste peoples time like that. Please take into account wedding planning is stressful enough without having this extra run around and no apology (apart from the gentleman who was clearly embarrassed).
Very nice place to do prays and good facilities as well
It’s good 👍 place
I attended a wedding here yesterday as a guest. This is my experience independently.
The venue itself has visable mould on the the walls, dirty carpet and the whole place smells like damp. The toilets are in a bad way, no tissue paper to add.
On my table alone 3 plates were filthy, one had a hair strand on another was dirty my cutlery had a chocolate like substance smeared over it.
Food was served very late, it was stone cold like it had been cooked the night before and left there.
There were not enough servers for the amount of guests and due to this many tables were given terrible service. Some were left without food my table was left without a main and still never received it after waiting. Dessert was served after a long time when guests had already started to leave.

What appalled me above all was the horrible exchange between a server and a guest. The server slammed dishes onto the table and when asked why she was doing that she verbally abused the guests on that table. She then came around the second time and caused a scene pointing and shouting at the guest.
After that I went to the toilet with my sister upon leaving the toilet we overheard another server spewing hate on the phone to a friend about the guests, she said dirty p*****.
I do hope the servers are reprimanded however I doubt it. They had no etiquette and were clearly unhappy in their job role.
This was my personal experience for a wedding I attended yesterday I can only imagine what other guests experienced.

The service and hall equally were diabolical. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

Lots of community activities here. There's a baby ballet centre in there for little kids who love to flex those toes. Aged 2 to 6 or so. Including a tap dance group. Seen lots of kids who look forward to coming here. Nice and friendly place with a good parking space.
Amazing architecture in UK, very spacious, thoughtfully built and managed. Positive vibes and Devine aura... must go place for some peace of mind and soul.
run down, poorly maintained. Lacking love and care and clearly visible everywhere. Dangerous electric wiring in the washroom clearly done by unqualified people.
I would like to leave a better review but needs much improvement and investment for that to occur.
Just wanted to share that I had an amazing experience at Piccadilly Banqueting Suite. Raju, Iqbal, and Mama from the management team were incredibly supportive and accommodating. They went above and beyond by allowing us to set up two days in advance of the event. Their generosity made a big difference. Highly recommend them! Can't wait to book our next charity event with them 💓🙏
I would never go again after the experience from another educational/activity host asking security questions and to parents with children and telling them to not use the coridors.
I have an SEN child who requires routes to be same as before, and being told to use another route completely threw him off from his activity. We stood in the cold for several minutes and the stress of change made him more anxious.
At the end we never had the activity that we were so excited for and bcx of how upset he got, we wont be able to do it at all, specially at the community centre.
I had paid advance for the activities and upon trying to contact that activity co ordinator I still did not receive a single respond.
How Shameful!
Please please do not stop parents who know their way asking them questions. We will ask if we need help!!
The place was cold because no heating had been switched on.It was colder inside as compared to outside.
Deeply disappointingly.
I really like this place, warm and friendly
Staff very nice

A great venue ideal for my regular dance fitness class and also ideal for a party. Kerry and her team are very helpful and will ensure you have a successful event
Nice little place to visit. In the heart of Bounville. There is a small play area for the children and a nice walk around the pond bit that's probably it. There is a small restaurant serving tea and coffees with some select cake. Parking is on the road in carpark spaces which are free.

Very poor event for the fireworks. Waiting over an hour and half for the low volume event to eventually be cancelled. Parents took their kids home without seeing the display. The firework engineers couldn't fix it.The field was a muddy mess, dark, dirty toilets, pointless and useless bag checks. It was packed with disappointed people. Never again.
I always love being there. Coffee is the best than any renowned coffee shops.

Avoid the fireworks event. Total mess. No outdoor lighting, outrageous food prices, no fireworks, no apology, no refund, toliets were a disgrace.

No surprise you have turned your social media comments off.

A quiet hall right in the heart of Alvechurch. It can hold about 100 people. The acoustics is pretty good for stage shows. There is a kitchen for use for functions. Parking is very limited but there is free street parking up the road. I would recommend hiring this hall for small functions
Nice place set in a housing estate not far from Northfield village

A scenic little park tucked away. The Pavillion looks beautiful reflecting in the lake. A relaxing place to stroll or cycle around.
Hi all, all I can say is that I had great time and rest for my eyes and mind. There is a lake nearby with ducks, and squirrels are near too. And yes, coffee is there with other beverages of choice. Really nice place.
Modern community centre in a leafy surround with cafe and meeting rooms. Car park on the small side with 2 disabled bays, with overfill to on street parking. Can be busy.
Friendly staff. Clean spaces, and clean toilets. Parking can be a little limited unless you arrive early. There is on-road parking, but that too is for the early bird to any function or classes you may attend there. Only four stars because I haven't spoken to the staff there as yet, but they smile as I come through the entrance.

Always beautiful and well kept. One of Brum's true hidden treasures.
Entry and exit to and from the carpark can be problematic due to inconsiderate parking and how narrow the entrance is. Disabled parking is usually taken by people without Blue Badges. Facilities in the actual building are fine though.

It's a good place to have a partying or celebration. You can bring along your own foods.
It provides spaces for parking and its easy to find there 👍
Really nice small village hall, went to a small charity event. Could do with some road signs to show it's location & some for carpark around the back.
Other than that a very nice venue
A lovely community centre with an excellent cafe. The barista is an incredibly friendly and welcoming person. The centre also offers a range of community support programmes.
Really disappointed with the service from the staff there.
Staff did not turn up till 5 min remaining on my booking was then told that after I cleaned up that some places needed a mop, either I could do it myself or a cleaning fee had to be paid, I requested a mop only to be told that I would go over my booking time if I did it myself, little did the gentleman realise that the time was over whilst he was still inspecting that place!! Disappointed is a understatement

The world's oldest Religion have many spiritual Gurus and their thoughts to achieve extreme attainment of one self is worshiped and followed by many people in Hinduism is shown by Devine Guru named Vallabhacharya and the path of worship Lord Krishna is then called Vaishnav and including Mahatma Gandhi had followed the way shown by the spiritual Guru Vallabhacharya. Followers spreaded through out the world between 14century to 21st century.. These people with integrated worshiped social behavior brought them to UK during Last lap of 18th century and spreaded at different big and small towns and cities like Liecster and Bermingham and London . This Temple represents this followers activities at Laxminarayan Temple.. All enthusiast may visit the tempel and find many social activities carried away with Religious approach to Mankind could be experienced here with great devotion to " Vaishnav Janato Tene Kahiya " by Mahatma Gandhi..Just excellent for Devine Darshan... Go and bow down to attain eternal peace...!!!
Great place to relax and get the sun it's so creative for small village amazing
It like the architecture look of the building. It look awesome and add the inclusivity and diversity of it's neighborhood. It's hollyness and uniqueness are the key features which outstand it from the other revival.
This is the place our Scout Group 87th Bierton Birmingham, meets. Tuesday and Friday evening. Ages 6 to 18 years.
Event location decent
Staff - rude and incredibly cheeky! No courtesy or respect, just trying everything to make an extra few pounds and ipp explain how.

After the event was told to sweeep hall, mop kitchen and move some chairs back to where they belong OR will be charged £30 for this. So I did everything that was asked. Then was told by staff that I'd gone over my time due to the cleaning so have to be charged £25 extra no matter what.
so basically they made me clean up everything and then charged me for doing the job. I would have just paid the £30.

After countless times trying to explain the audacity if what they had just done to the staff they simply couldn't seem to understand the point and just asked me to refer to the contract.

There are many community centres and venues I've e used over the years and this by far has to be the worst experience I've ever had. The staff didnt even care that a 7 day old baby was sitting in a cold reception while my wife waited with him.

I'd 100% recommended that you avoid any bookings here. It's massively overpriced too. The service was simply terrible on the day. Allot of my guests commented on why the staff were so rude when asking simple questions regarding carpark. He was getting annoyed because he had to leave his desk and come to reception to answer an question.
Thanks to Piccadilly Banqueting Service for all their help and care with my sister’s wedding – we had the most amazing day!! It surpassed our expectations in every way and we loved every second of it!!
We found this Banqueting hall through a friend’s recommendation and the amazing service started from the day we got engaged – The management were so helpful on the phone and then fitted us in to see the venue the next day.
We highly recommend Ever After, The management and their staff!  From the start they worked with us to accommodate our unconventional circumstances. Everything felt so personal and dedicated to us, devoted to making our day as incredible as it could be. They worked with us to create something that fit into our budget, giving us multiple options and never pressured into something we felt uncomfortable with.
The day itself was absolutely incredible, the feel of the venue, the food and the weather! Everything was taken care of, allowing us to enjoy the most amazing day.
I used to teach needlecraft a in this venue many years ago. Then I visited them often saying hello to senior citizens pl who inspired me. This was one of the best run elderly centre but unfortunately cuts affected them too. The event last week was well attended with various stalls, information, advice, food, crafts, music.
Excellent facility for the community. Rooms and toilets very clean and tidy.
Cafeteria at the front of the building overlooks an area with grass and trees.
There are benches on the grass, lovely to sit outside with a drink from the cafe.
This facility is great for the community. There are tons of groups using it and you can hire it yourself. It has 2 kitchen as well as a big sports hall and other rooms too

I really like Shenley Court Hall as it has many fun activities through out the week. It is even more fun in the holidays because the put on a variety of new clubs so kids and adults can have fun while on holiday and being somewhere close to their home.
