good and inexpensive local desserts
The peach nectar and the chocolate one are very good!!
I have a strong fondness for black sesame desserts, and I highly recommend this charming little shop. The taste is incredibly smooth, and the flavors are concentrated and delicious. The black Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls are particularly exceptional – I have no complaints whatsoever. A delightful experience overall😋😋😋
second visit - first time i tried the sea salt caramel ice and found the cup a bit narrow (so it was hard to mix the toppings around an enjoy), returned as my friends wanted to try
this time i got the tiramisu ice, loved the mascarpone cream. the ice did taste a lot like tiramisu, wish the portion was bigger!!

My friend and I ordered Sea Salt Caramel Ice Flake and Tofu Soft Cream to share.
The Sea Salt Caramel Ice Flake was layered. Topped with caramel crunch, popcorn and sea salt milk foam, it had milk ice in the middle and came with custard pudding at the bottom. The saltiness of the milk foam made the dessert less heavy to have, and the custard pudding enhanced the sweetness of the dessert. The sweetness and saltiness complemented each other well.
However, the Tofu Soft Cream was not as good as we expected. It was quite refreshing, but the tofu flavour was not that strong. Perhaps it's becoz I didn't think the crunchy match that much.

nice stone milled black sesame desert
Desserts were acceptable given the price, awful staff though, in such a local place I wasn't looking for exceptional service, but it was such an unpleasant experience. got ignored a lot of times before we could make our order when it's not busy (11pm, weekday), what's worse the dish washing woman splashed sewage all over the place, can't believe I didn't get an apology at all, our clothes and table were all wet!
Not sure about the main sellers but I got the sesame ice cream one and it was so good! Love the crunchy rice puffs that go with it. Also cheaper than the main sellers !
No need to worry about the language, so many photos inside you can just point at them.

A little overrated, I had the peach flavor ice flakes. The ice flakes were really fine but it tasted just alright since there wasn’t any syrup or anything that makes the ice moist, after eating this I actually felt more thirsty.
Very local dessert restaurant, famous for steamed egg custard and other fruity dessert. Price is very friendly!

Popular dessert place. Layered concoction with cream, shaved ice and a sort of tofu/custard pudding underneath, making this an irresistible warm weather dessert. About 50 dollars, half self service.

Very delicious dessert. Mainly grass jelly and other unique desserts. Would really recommend coming here since there are not a lot of shops that sell these kind of desserts.

A small shop located in Whampoa neighbourhood. I saw it on Instagram and as a big fan of black sesame, I decided to travel all the way to Whampoa for it. And...it didn’t let me down at all!
Sesame ice cream ($32) is very rich in the sesame flavour.Creamy and smooth! Very big portion as well. Can’t wait to go back and have it again!!!
Matcha Ice cream ($34) not as outstanding as black sesame but still good! Just the right level and sweetness but matcha not extremely rich. If you like matcha flavour but doesn’t like it being so bitter, this is the right one for u!

經過紅墈想食糖水就上網搵，味道唔錯，$25一碗，非常低食，CP值高。

店內係無位坐，附近又無位可以坐低食，仲要落住雨，所以都只有拎番屋企再雪凍一下先再食
仙草食落好冰涼好爽口，係上面淋左少少煉奶，令到口感更加好；多數食既都係芋圓，好少食到地瓜圓，口感一樣好Ｑ彈；配合埋西米，薏米，紅豆，綠豆，唔太甜，當個晚餐真係唔錯

Omg didn't know it was durian.... The menu is only in Chinese. I never tasted durian before and I can guarantee that it will be the last time. 36 hdk for a small dessert with durian that I hated... 😅 There is another dessert restaurant just next door that is cheaper and is written in English 😅.
It's seemly special for mango derived desserts.
Standard Chinese dessert place with pretty average prices. We had the walnut paste with tong yuen and the almond paste with tong yuen. Their pastes are much thicker, denser and more flavourful than other places I’ve been to. Their tong yuen were also alright. I also brought home their store specialty dessert soup that has a bit of everything in it. Also quite yummy, but nothing amazing. All in all nothing spectacular. If you’re in the area it’s a good dessert place to go to, but not a place I would go out of my way to visit.
A must try dessert place. So yummy and so many options in such a reasonable price. Go go go and try it!
The price was reasonable. The ice with green tea ice-cream and red beans was so yummy with the sweetened condensed milk.
