Captain Connor was really an amazing guide for the medium level 2hr trip white water rafting. He was hilarious and great to converse with the whole time. Definitely made the experience remembered for our first time going on the Colorado river!

Dutch was a great tour guide and was interesting to talk with and made great conversation. He was very knowledgeable about the river and area and was even able to point out a family of bald eagles. We had a great time with our family and even got to float in the refreshing Colorado River. I’d highly recommend doing this trip. It was great for our 3 year old son and our 15 year old son with autism. They did great and had fun. It was a memorable experience!

Mixed results from our experience. Unfortunately, and beyond their control, I-70 was closed and we could not do Shoshone rapids, as planned and booked.

Whitewater Rafting LLC adjusted and put us all on the Roaring Fork river. We left late because of this. Guide (Kai) was great, weather was great, views were beautiful, but river and rapids were definitely a disappointment. They did offer free duckies/kayaks, to go with our rafting group, and that improved the experience. We otherwise had a float, and only really hit 1-2 mild (Class II ?) rapids.

When we returned, they asked in the front office how it was. I told them the good parts, but it was disappointing overall. The staff just frowned and acknowledged it. I would have liked to see them discount our booking. I didn’t push them for this - it wasn’t their fault, but it wasn’t ours and we did not get what we booked for Shoshone class III-IV. I think they should hav just charged us the ‘mild’ rate of $55 (vs. the $69 paid), or something closer to that would have felt fair and reasonable.

In the end, we were glad we could do ‘something’, and the team there was fun and nice, but I’m disappointed they didn’t adjust pricing to match the experience. It was a pretty extreme situation to have I-70 closed for hours the morning of (due to a semi roll-over). I would still recommend them, but book the Shoshone river and if they have to adjust, I would suggest getting a refund instead (unless you want just a mild river float).

This company is top notch. Everyone was experienced and very professional. We had a great time with our guide Ryan called Coach. He was awesome and a lot of fun with the grandkids. Definitely would recommend and go back again. Thank you for the fun day.

This is legit white water rafting at a great value. We did a full day and did 3 hours on the Colorado including the Shoshone Rapids (challenging class llll rapids) and then after lunch we did 3 hours on the Roaring Fork River which had great rapids and near nonstop rapids. We loved our guide Rosie who took our group of 8 in a large raft for the morning and then let us take single ducky kayaks in the afternoon. After a scary tip over down some serious rapids Rosie helped me get back in my boat which was no easy fear. (I'm a heavy girl who was exhausted after trying not to drown in 54 degree water). Due to the busy holiday weekend we did get delayed 1 hour in the middle of the day which made for a long day all together. But, overall our group had a great time. All the staff were knowledgeable, skilled, friendly and fun! We also purchased the photos that they took of us (over 50 shots) and really appreciate the quality and value of the option to purchase them all. We also found great t-shirts in their shop to remember our day. These are the best rapids I've been on after rafting in Costa Rica, Montana, and Wisconsin. I would recommend this company to anyone no matter their skill level.

This was the most fun I have had in a long time. The first 20-30 minutes was the best but the rest of the day was great. The wife and I did the six hour tour. The complete experience was outstanding the staff were professional and the guides were there to keep you safe and keep it fun. After lunch they allowed us to switch to inflatable kayaks for who ever wanted to attempt it. I would give this a 10 across the board if it were allowed. Once again thanks to all the staff it was an outstanding experience.

Webbs was great and so were our boat mates. I wish we would have done the lower half, too. They advertised age 2+ but the rapids we hit were definitely more advanced than that. 5+ is more accurate. But we also came at peak time after an extremely wet season so that probably caused it to be more intense than normal. Regardless… 5 star and if I could give more stars, I would.

We had an awesome time on the Colorado River with Whitewater rafting, LLC. Not knowing how our 8 year old daughter would like it, we had booked a short, mild float. We all loved it so much that we extended our time to a half day trip while still on the river. Our guide, Larry, was absolutely amazing. He was great with everyone on the raft and very knowledgeable of the river and the Glendwood Springs area in general. Everyone in the office and all of the guides that we interacted with were extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with. We had purchased the photo package in advance and the pictures did not disappoint. If we are ever in the Glenwood area again we will most definitely be taking another rafting trip with Whitewater rafting.
