Dissolving an LLC, paid for expedited processing. 3 weeks later, it still shows as "active." I'm beyond exhausted.

Every call rep has attitude. They'll also mock you and give you incorrect information. The negligence and unprofessionalism is staggering. Avoid at all costs if you can.

These people are very incompetent at their jobs and when that happens is causes me to have to call them to fix it ..they never answer the phones “agents are always busy” no matter the time of day. I applied for an LLC to be dissolved and here they are sending me rejection letter that I did not pay the $60after all the prior delays that they caused. Now I have to email them my copy of the money order to show proof that I paid.

Exorbitant filing fees and incredibly slow processing time for routine business-related paperwork. You have to call and fax over and over again to get through, no response to emails or voicemails. A time sensitive letter to my business was sent to the WRONG person with a different name and address, causing further delays. People working only 2 days a week when the office is weeks behind on paperwork. It is SO unprofessional to provide NY businesses with such poor service and I hear NY legislators are now the highest paid in the country? Come on.

I experienced great kindness from the staff at the office of apostille. It pays to be positive I presume.

In mid-April, I filed an online complaint with the Department of State's Division of Consumer Protection against Pine Grove Cottages. This business initially said we would be provided with a full refund for our stay during the first week of June due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and then pointed to the cancellation deadline we missed when my husband and I asked them to provide this in writing. Keep in mind that New York state was at the epicenter of this pandemic for a long time. I received an email response to my complaint from a Christine Dunn. The text of the email was our forwarded confirmation with Pine Grove's cancellation policy at the bottom. Attached to the email was Pine Grove's proposed resolution which basically held me to their cancellation policy, and a document from Consumer Protection stating the case was resolved and therefore closed. There was no resolution stating the Division of Consumer Protection's decision, no contact information at which follow up questions can be asked and no information about appealing their decision which was not stated in their email anyway. There was no response to my email reply to Christine Dunn and no response to my email to the governor's office. We did receive a check a few days later from Pine Grove Cottages, and were refunded 1/2 of our cost-leaving us with a loss of more than $400. It is despicable that such state employees can deliver such poor service without being held accountable.

This office is a joke. They deserve 0 stars. Rude overpaid state workers. Divisions of our States government such as this particular one are the cause of NY being ranked as one of the worst states in America. $30 to $175 to print a simple piece of paper! Paid $30 for a copy of my LLC certuficate. They assured me i would have it in 24 hours. It has been a week. I have not received it yet. This office does not return calls or execute the proper steps to serve the public. I have talked two 3 woman in person. Their sense of entitlement is sickening
