Each time I have been here they have been very compassionate and helpful
I’m aghast. If I could review all of the wildlife services in MD with this, I would. After watching a raccoon fall over 100’ from my tree, TWICE, I observed it was missing a tail and had an injured front right leg. Trying to get some kind of wildlife help was worse than pulling teeth. 48 hours this critter wandered between 3 yards. Various DNR officers told us they could not help because it was on our properties and directed us to call pest removal services who informed us they could not help because the animal was not INSIDE the house. It was clearly hurt and disoriented. NO wildlife facilities could take it because it was an adult raccoon. FINALLY, DNR sent an officer out to euthanize via firearm after 48 hours of us dealing with this. They wouldn’t even take the body to test for rabies, just double bagged and told us to dispose in the garbage. A raccoon, that couldn’t manage to climb down, fell twice, had clearly sustained injuries, was obviously disoriented and not acting normally, and they refused to take the body to test for rabies. We have children and pets in our neighborhood and would like to know if there are potentially more rabid animals around. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Oh, and don’t bother trying to trap the animal yourselves, apparently they fine for that and cannot come out to take care of it if you trap it. Most convoluted nonsense I’ve ever encountered. We were just trying to do right by our neighbors and end this critter’s suffering.
You have a very small officer with a large nose and a poorly faded tattoo that works the Caroline Talbot sector. He’s colorblind I fear for he labeled my car as being silver when it’s in fact blue. Surprised he was as detailed in his entry about his traffic stop with me when he can’t even get basic colors correct. Hoping he asks Santa for some public speaking skills or maybe a pack of crayons this year. It is fascinating really how others are required to do their job at the bare minimum but others are held to higher standards. Guess that’s what happens when you are a lawman and don't just have to follow it. I assume though based upon his stature of being smaller with a larger nose that he wasn’t hired for his smarts but his olfactory abilities instead. Low to the ground, good sense of smell…
The security guards were very friendly when entering the building. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and assisted me quickly, politely and efficiently.
Was thinking this was going to be a harder process than it was. Went in and met with Mrs. J Lambert and things could not have been easier. She was a pleasure to work with, made things super easy.
Was able to meet with an auditor and she was able to answer all of my questions.
Have always been helpful anytime we’ve had to call them out with poachers on our property.
Very helpful last year our boat lift snapped and the boat floated down the canal then they called saying they secured our boat.Thankyou DNR

In these covid - 19 Days in which we live It is certainly great to have the folks @ DNR helping the people with their Renewals, Licensing and other DNR Issues. I had the the pleasure of meeting (over the phone) Christie Gross LRS Supervisor for DNR. She made the job of renewing my husband's boating & fishing License easy as 123. She went the extra mile making me feel comfortable & understanding this whole process!! She is A Beautiful Angel and reminds me that there are still some that work their Weight & Gold. Thanks Again Christie Gross, You Are Greatly Appreciated! Sincerly, MCP/Security Officer Brenda Redding
During a time a great difficulty, Kylie Gregg showed great compassion and professionalism.
The folks who work here are as pleasant and competent as you could ever hope. The process has been long and inexplicably drawn out. But the office and the clerks are awesome.
Your office moved my boat at anchor and now they can’t find it and don’t know who I should be in contact with, it’s been about a week and I’m getting the run around.

What is wrong with you people who does something like that? Have your officer who is responsible reach out immediately this is unbelievably unprofessional !!!!

You guys are awful!
Wonderful people to work with. They're really dedicated to expanding and preserving park land in Maryland :)
I have worked with the office for more than 38 years as an appraiser. This office has always been so professional not only to me but to my clients, My clients only have high praise for Ms, Parker and her staff.
