The variety, depth & breadth, quality of visual effects of topics is superior in every way. I’m a long supporter & consumer of public television. When WETA world became available, I wondered what it would offer that differed from the other PBS stations in my area since the available programs were already excellent as well as diverse. I have been not only surprised but “wowed” by their contribution to cable television options. Thank you!!
Bloomberg overall is amazing!!
I love my job.

I normally do not listen to this classical music but it is relaxing to listen to when I'm stressed and need to lie down

Walter Scott Quotes. O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive!

The deadly 1991 fire at the Imperial Foods plant in Hamlet, North Carolina was more than just an accident, it was intended to be a "code upgrade."

The fact that it went so terribly wrong and killed people didn't seem to matter to what was then the MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour. Or to anybody else, given the politics of the ownership.

Looking back at my old notes and contact with these folks out in Arlington; September 3, 1991 appears to be a rehearsal for 9/11/2001.

Every bit as much as March 14, 1991 Boardman was itself a rehearsal for Hamlet. Something for nothing.

And given the consequences to this planet since 9/11, and more shocks every day, these folks are either dumb, or depraved.

These people do not care what I think, and now the feeling is mutual.
Great snacks.
I give this company 3 stars b/c if you can get past their salesmen, the product is very good.

A great station that produces world class public radio station programs.
National Holiday Concerts, news casts that are world class in statute.
Children’s programs that educate and teach values. We supported them when we lived in Alexandria and support our local station WETA in Hampton Roads..

I am thankful for the divine music you broadcast year round. However, your hammering of classical music lovers with Christmas jingles for an entire month before Christmas (and sometimes even after) is offensive to me and many others who are music lovers and Christians.
Musically, I cannot but be horrified by the juxtaposition between a divinely inspired piece by Mozart followed immediately by a simpleminded “jingle bells”. From the sublime to the crass: The contrast is so jarring it invalidates the previous experience of divine inspiration.
It is as if, during a beautiful soirée, a drunken guest publicly relieved himself in the middle of the reception area. It is that anticlimactic.
As a Christian, Christmas tunes have always struck me as denigrating of the transcendent experience and the real nature of Christ.
The crassness of the jingles truly belongs in Walmarts and any other businesses whose sole intent is to guilt the customer into buying more than he intends, lest they he be called unchristian, making a subconscious connection between consumerism and Christianity.
Finally, do the producers not understand that a vast number of the listeners are not Christian? Surely they would rather not have Christmas tunes rammed into their ears.
In protest to this imposition , senseless from both a musical and a religious perspective, my family and friends who share this view will abstain from donating to WETA. If you finally understand how senseless and counterproductive this delusional policy of yours is, we will be doubling our donations next year.

I like WETA throughout most of the year, but after Thanksgiving it cuts back on classical music and starts playing Christmas stuff. If I want to listen to this type of "music," i can go to any local mall. My letters to them have been answered with, "This is what our listeners want." I simply don't believe it.

WETA are well meaning folk who's primary interest is public service. Sadly this Tuesday, September 26, 2017 around 5:30 AM they played NPRs morning edition. Today, NPR thought is reasonable to do a snippet from a New York Times' article suggesting 'six people of the Trump administration used their personal email accounts to do business. The President has complained that HRC used her personal email account to do business.' NPR left it at this. This deliberate distortion should never have been repeated by NPR. Why NPR chose this article to highlight demands an explanation. I encourage WETA to have NPR alerted to this piece of yellow journalism and demand better of them.
Nice building. Hard to find parking.
