This is such an amazing environment, so supportive and full of all the info you need! Can’t wait to start my course! 🫶🏽

Just had the taster day at the tattoo academy in Liverpool! Honestly it is the best day in any educational setting I’ve ever had. Ray & Ashton are the most loveliest, approachable people who make the day fun, easy to have a laugh with but also very informative. It really has given me some aspiration to start their course. I absolutely recommend coming to the Tattoo Academy Liverpool. Ray and Ashton are brilliant Tutors, they are always on hand to help and answer the million questions that I asked. If you have anything you are unsure about, they’ll chat to you about it one to one to bring you up to speed and increase your confidence.

I have anxiety and not a lot of confidence in myself, but they made me feel welcome and at ease. I met some really awesome people doing the course and you are offered a lifetime time of support afterwards. The information and hands on experience gained on the course is awesome. If you’re thinking about getting in to tattooing, I’d definitely recommend this course first, from laws, health and safety, needles, theory and practical there is nothing left uncovered.

What a fantastic experience. I completed the Foundation course with Ray and the team in Sept 23 and have just completed the Intermediate course this month. 5 stars start to finish for both. The access to experienced artists you receive from day one introduction, the industry knowledge, the skill set you learn and the delivery of the course is truly an amazing journey. The course work enables development piece by piece. You are challenged to your capability in a great learning environment.

Spend 5 years learning and picking up bad habits, or learn from industry experienced professionals accredited to actually teach and mentor - no brainer from me!

I had the best day here, I couldn’t recommend enough!! My mum and I travelled from Wales to do the free taster day and it was 100% worth it, even my mum enjoyed participating! Ashton is an amazing teacher and so so helpful. Ray and everyone who joined is super friendly and supportive with good vibes all around. I hope to be able to be a part of it and do both courses soon!

I cannot recommend this place enough, I went with my daughter who wants to join the Academy. From the minute we walked in we were welcomed by one of the most vibrant happy individuals I’ve met Ashton, her personality was infectious, Ray, the owner and founder was an absolute ball to be around making the most amazing team. The course, given it was free, was informative and well set up in a lovely bright studio and there were free doughnuts! I’ll never make the next great tattoo artist but that didn’t matter because you were made to feel like one with the amount of encouragement given. I’d go back and do every free taster day if I could! So thank you for a truly fun and enjoyable day ☺️

I have just completed my tattoo training in fine line tattooing and wow I can't recommend the academy enough! Ray and Ashton are just incredible! Straight away from day one they both put me at ease and they are the most loveliest people ever! So easy to talk too!
The knowledge I have from both of them is incredible I've learnt so much and I've learnt from the best in the business!

The academy is such a fun amazing environment I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into tattooing to join the academy you won't regret it!

Amazing experience here getting a tattoo, Z was so lovely and made sure we were comfortable at all times. He is extremely skilled and I'm really pleased with the tattoo I got here. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t even put into words the experience I had at Amethyst. Z is amazing and we were brought to his shop by a series of unexplainable events and are so glad we were! Z is professional, kind, compassionate, and his work is fantastic! Best of the best. I cannot speak more highly of Zino at Amethyst Ink. I've spoken to a few tattoo artists in a few different studios, and non can compare to Zino. He is the most friendly, professional, understanding and reassuring artist ever. He puts you at complete ease, and truly listens to what you want from your tattoo. He has done many tattoos for me now, and a couple for people I have recommended him to too. He is so skilled and talented, and my tattoos that he has done are unreal. I regularly get stopped by strangers asking me who has done my art because they like it and want things done themselves. I am proud to wear his artwork. The experience is always so fun and enjoyable. His studio is decorated lovely, which he has done all by himself. It's a really comfortable setting to get a tattoo done. He does both flashes and custom designs. He prides himself on his custom designs and I think he specialises in black and greys but I could be wrong! He has done lots of different styles for me, and each one I've truly loved. It's the perfect place for people considering getting their first tattoo. He is more than happy to answer all and any questions you might have and is really helpful and honest. He uses good quality equipment, and the hygiene standards are exceptionally high. All his tattoo inks are also Vegan. He also charges really reasonably and does lots of different discounts including student discounts. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially first timers, and can't wait to hopefully go back soon for my next piece!
