Our foursome played Waterview today. The course was in good shape and staff was friendly. The problem is the round took a solid 5 hours. We typically play Buffalo Creek and Tenison in 4:00 to 4:10. There is no excuse for a 5 hour round. My friends said they would not go back.

I drove from Greenville with one of my buddies, and we had a 7am tee time. Upon arrival we was told that we had to play the back 9 twice due to the front 9 being aerated. Apparently the back 9 had been aerated a few days ago with made playing miserable due to all the clods of mud everywhere getting mud on your shoes with was impossible to get off made swinging your club questionable at best. You couldn't even clean your ball due to there wasn't water in any of the ball cleaners. You would think if they are going to have their fairways full of mud clods they would keep them full to clean all the crap off your ball. I paid $43 to play on a course that should close down due to all the aeration that was going on. I remember this used to be nice course at one time, but I don't think I will be playing there ever again. They should be ashamed of themselves ripping people off like that. I will say their greens was really nice, but that's the only positive that I took from this experience.
Would give it a solid 0/5 if that was an option. Whole experience was terrible. They have let this course go. Prices in person don’t match what’s online. Entire staff was incredibly rude. GO TO FIREWHEEL instead.

Quite a few tee boxes are full of weeds. Fairways are mostly okay. Conditions of greens are atrocious which makes scoring incredibly difficult and unpredictable. Pace is very slow. Wouldn't recommend. Driving range is terrible.
I called 24 hours in advance to cancel my tee time due to rain. Was told I will be refunded in a few days. Waited 2 weeks with no return. Called again and was told I have to reach out to the website I booked with for a refund, but I used their website. Then I was told I have to come up there in person to discuss getting a return when I don’t live in the area. Horrible horrible customer service and was out 3 tee time fees with no refund still.

I played this course a few days ago and forgot my callaway rangefinder on the golf cart. I called the pro shop 2 days later and was told that they did not find it. I only assume that they did not find it because someone at the cart return took it for themselves. I’ve tried to talk to the manager but I keep getting told that he’s in a meeting. I left my phone number for him to call me back but they have not reached out. Please be careful with your things at this golf course because you may never get it again.

Range is absolute destroyed. The range needs to be shut down for 2 weeks or cut down to 25% operation to allow the area to recover. It's horrible.
3 hole par 3 is in horrible condition. Greens are not playable, Fairways unplayable.

The main course.. tee boxes are rough. Fairways are rough, Greens are below decent.

Clubhouse has very limited offering and very slow service.

Course overrun with students who do not fix their divots nor take care of their mess. Leaving range balls all over the chipping area.

Prices for this course should be $25 - $35 max

Course needs to undergo major repairs.
I’ve been a member of this course for almost 15 years. However, I canceled my membership today. The staff is rude. There were no teetimes available because they currently only have nine holes open. I pay my monthly dues every month, on time, and have done so for over a decade. To be told that I cannot find a single opening (as a single player) is unacceptable. The parking lot is empty.
