Very friendly staff, club felt welcoming. The course was in pretty good condition given there had been a lot of rain in previous days.
We followed members out but it was painfully slow, so much that we walked off after 11 holes.
Slightly disappointed.

We had the NHS Retirement Fellowship Christmas Lunch here and it was a fantastic setting with an excellent atmosphere and food
Considering all the rain we've had recently, the course was open and very playable. A bit of mud here and there as to be expected, but all the greens bar 1 were water free. Lovely course.

Went there after funeral service. They looked after us very well. Staff were very helpful.

Such a shame when a group of "privileged" members spoil it for visitors. Had to walk off after 12th hole. Group of 4 playing in front of me (really slow)and refused too allow me play through even when they were stopping for regular mother's meetings on the green whilst I was waiting at tee box. Really good course and the clubhouse seemed nice. The rules of slow play should be to members also and not just visitors.
A class venue. Fairways with even grass coverage, well manicured greens with difficult slopes; bunkers a bit boggy after recent downpour. comfortable clubhouse.

Played in the Event Organizers Golf Day on the 22nd and was very impressed with the welcome, food and the course, It's a thinking course so don't take it for granted. Well worth a visit.

It’s a good, challenging course. Greens are immaculate but the fairways need severe work. As a new member, to justify the cost, I expected the course to be in better condition.
Fantastic course in great condition
A lovely course, challenging but not ridiculously difficult, in very good condition throughout. Lovely halfway hut bacon rolls. Well worth a visit.
Lovely course, very well kept from teebox to greens. Great terrace too

Had a society here last Friday, we had an excellent day from start to finish, the team are brilliant from Jess in the office to all the bar, catering staff. Rolls etc was great to start and lunch was good too. The course isn't the longest but is very tricky and interesting, got to think your way round. Greens are in good shape but the tee boxes could do with being cut by a rotary to take the long stems off ,but maybe its been left longer because of the hot weather. We're all booked up ready for next year.
Have played many courses in the past few weeks, & despite having access to only limited water the green keepers have done an astonishing job keeping the course in great condition! Best course in the area! Great apre-golf experience too!

Seriously good golf course and some of the views from the tees simply awesome. Decent and friendly pro shop and the food, snack and beer selection was great. Great service too.

Lovely, well kept course that’s great fun to play and looks beautiful. A few challenging holes over water and alongside train tracks create a great mix of hole difficulty. Great value too. £11 twilight? Amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful especially when I’m running late, allowing me to run straight onto the 1st tee.

A great golf course which is always in top-class condition. The newly refurbished and repositioned bunkers have revived this classic Herbert Fowler design.
