Great experience! Not only for kids😉 we booked family ticket 2+2. Kids first time, parents after 20yrs brake 🤣 we all had a great time ❤️ great service. Good to arrive that 20min ealier, place can be very busy. Can't wait to come back. Such a great experience for every age 🤌

A fun winter experience to share with friends and exercise you don't even realise you're doing! There is a really good atmosphere in the space. We went at 12pm on a Thursday. It was quite busy but still enough room to skate around and go your own speed. All staff are kind and helpful. Special mention to Caitlin at the cloakroom, she is so lovely! Only costs €2 to leave your stuff. In 2023-24 it's behind the church on the main road near the lidl in the village. Gorge Christmas tree and sign to take photos with too. Overall positive experience and would defo go again!

Update: They offer student rate of €16 if you buy ticket in person, just not online. Went again on a Wednesday at 7pm and it was really quiet, only about 10-15 people, so had loads of space on the ice. Staff were still very attentive and made sure everyone was safe. They remember you and welcome you warmly back or for the first time - thank you Caitlin and the man with the Disney Prince hair! Also music is tops!!!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the rink is run very efficiently. There was no long wait to get or return skates or to collect tickets. The only criticism I have is that the rink can get quite crowded and for the price I think the sessions should be a bit longer, it would be great if the offered a student discount. Overall it is a wonderful experience!

To say its over crowded is an understatement! It all looks good but its a health and safety risk to all users thanks to the no limit of people on the ice ! We paid for 1 adult and 4 children and had to leave after 10 minutes because it was unskatable ! Twice I was pulled to the ground by people falling because there was only 18 -24 inches space between people, those being 6'5 adults and 2 foot tall children who are terrified with the situation ! Handed the skates back in and got a voucher to go another day! Absolute joke !

Very packed. Should allow less people per session. However organised very well. Tickets are very quick, Ice skates very quick. Staff amazing ice rink is very well maintained. Just a bit small and too many allowed on the ice rink per session. quite expensive.

A bit too crowded per session, and can’t get over the fact that now you can’t get penguin for less experienced kids unless you book and pay €5! Skates are at very poor quality as well. Overall experience is OK, don’t expect much and you might not be disappointed 😄

Had to take one star down to reflect this.

Had a great day out with my two children and partner. Full of belly laughs and joy my kids and us really had a great time. Great idea to have the photos taken while on the ice and to be able to purchase them is great memories for life we will definitely be back before it leaves.

It was an amazing experience for all of the children. It was so inclusive for wheelchair users as we had faith, we were just able to put her onto the ice in her wheelchair which is great as she would be nervous out of her wheelchair. The staff were super helpful and friendly ❤️

It was a lovely experience, facilities were good. But there was definitely too many on the rink and there was a large group of children that were so dangerous, naturally kids mess about but they were swinging back there skates and came so close to hitting/cutting people behind them, they were skating into people to be funny and grabbing random people around them to stop them from falling causing those people to fall. Nobody seemed to be keeping an eye on them. Kids should be in a separate area or allocated there own slot. Took a lot of the enjoyment out of it.

We brought a group of young people as a Christmas trip. The staff were so helpful and really made our group get into the Christmas spirit. Big shout out to Jenny and the others on reception for helping me find the tickets on my phone. Can't wait to go again.

The skating was so fun! One of the staff helped me try learn how to turn which just made the experience even better! Really enjoyed it! Some of my friends used the penguins and that made them feel like they could manage which they were worried they wouldn’t be able. Thanks

The staff are really friendly and chatty and there is a great atmosphere in the rink.! The skating was great fun and the staff took good care of the little ones or those on the ice for the first time. The only recommendation would be that the staff inform people when they can get on the ice! Will be back again!!

Dundrum on Ice is so conveniently located with plenty of staff to help with anything you could imagine. They’re friendly, professional, and quick to resolve any issues over the phone or in person. Super accommodating to any age group and it’s so easy to book online!! Will definitely be returning :)

Loads of fun. Very busy. Get there early to avoid the massive queue for ice skates. We were at the 17:00 (5 pm) session. Even after the Zamboni cleared the ice it was already fairly uneven in places at the beginning.
Be prepared for a few falls and loads of fun.
There is a professional photographer taking photos at 8 euro for a 6 x 4 photo, keyring option and larger size also available. Nice memento.

I was with my family on ice skating for the first time in Blanchardstown and it was amazing.I would recommend to everyone.So much fun and staff were lovely and great.

Ice skating only set up during the winter months which is a good source of family fun time

It's funny and nice to practice, especially for first time and inexperienced people like me.
The only negative was the overcrowded arena during weekends.
I revisited during weekdays and it was way better.

Nice activity for the day. A little expensive for 40 minutes but long enough for your feet to start hurting in the shoes xD

I took my daughter and nephew, they really loved it. I've gone a few times in the past, a bit crowded but a nice rink.

A bit pricey when I compare it to ice-skating in other cities like Frankfurt, which has a massive running track and ice hockey hall converted for public skating, at more than half the price and unlimited time.

Have Gina ice skating for the last 10 years. It’s our Xmas eve tradition. The last 2 we have gone here and it’s by far the best experience. The rink is so much bigger and is and our kids (adults/teens) love it. Looking forward to Xmas Eve again already.

Great place to visit, everything went smoothly without any hassle or injuries. Once again very happy to be back and will certainly be returning in future.

We had a great experience yesterday! We are a family of 6 two teenagers and 2 little ones.
The kids had a ball! We arrived late due to traffic but we got on the ice as soon as we could and had a great time.
It is very crowded though! The ice rink needs to be bigger!!!!!
The whole place was very well organised and the staff were clearly working very hard to cope with all of the numbers going in and out every hour.
Well done to all involved!

Great day out for the family. We brought a 4 year old out and she loved it. Definitely recommend booking the penguins for the smallies (under 1.2m) as it helps them enjoy the experience.

The Ice Rink was a fun experience but I recommend you go to another ice rink. There’s to many people on the ice and in one session there was four major incidents one of them being a family member of mine who broke her wrist and I understand that it’s not their fault but a large part would be due to the amount of people there and there is no staff on the ice to help out. If you plan on visiting go earlier in the day so it’s less busy. It’s difficult to find and is behind a church across the road and there isn’t a lot of signage to show you where to go. For the most part it is fun.

United Girls Football Club had a great time at Dundrum On Ice and would highly recommend this as a great team bonding event.

Even on a very busy Sunday, the staff and process of checking in/out with 25 kids was made very easy.

Arrived a bit early, Us oldies had pictured sipping hot choc & watching...no hot drinks. Few minutes of organized "chaos" while skates returned & given out. Staff very efficient.
Once inside: WONDERFUL!
We forgot hot choc & everything. Everyone was smiling and Happy. As onlookers we really enjoyed watching.....braver-than-us adults holding onto penguins, tinies flying past, teens forgetting to be cool & uninterested and actually laughing!
Loved the happy atmosphere. Would go again....frequently if I lived near, and would probably try skating ....a bit

Attended the 14:40 session and it was packed. Loads of people and bumping into each other. It was so much fun tho and for a beginner like me it was very interesting falling on my behind. The staff was very nice and helpful, ready to lend a hand when you fall. Would definitely recommend and treat another time.

There is no signs or direction to the centre need to be big improving for this. Disappointed people looking for access, getting panic and stressed. Centre is located just behind McDonalds take an access from the left side. Ice skating arena getting cleaned every time before session. The are two separate courts: for beginners and smaller kids and bigger for those who can skate. There’s is a big changing room and other relevant facilities. Music playing and everyone getting good fun. Essential to have hat, gloves, knee protection and thick socks.

Minuses:
No toilet
Map is not real (had to spend some time to find it) No signs to find it
Skates for hockey (not sharp teeth on top, hard to skate)
Uncontrolled teenagers rushing and falling among kids making it very dangerous
Too crowded (with kids it is better to come before 12)

Pluses:
They clean ice
Let to make photos
They give helmets if you do kit have yours and they give kids type of skates with two blades
Light room, big enough (though not big enough to escape from teenagers)

Result: take your own skates and come as early as possible not to be disappointed

Glad to hear that you got toilets just near the ice rink. As for the first two weeks they were not there (according to the review of our friends who went there a week later).
Yes, your skates are sharp but without teeth in front which makes skating hard. But still it depends who used to what. And clients may take their own skates if they prefer of course.
Besides in the morning there are less people and more safe. Agree. But still there were three four moments when teenagers were running and falling hitting the fence and one of them hit my leg with the skate. I am ok, but if it was a kid, there could be an issue. Nobody is controlling it. It is better to come with kids the earlier the better not to put them in danger.
Of course it is fun to ice skate. Always. I agree with you. But I would still insist on personal skates and morning visit :)

Large big ice rink, charging area nice and clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful and the owner is sound as a pound! Highly recommended, will return again 👍

Its good place for fun but they really need to limit the people for a single class people are three times more than the capacity. Other serivice is fine
I saw a person who didnt book penguine and no one helped him with support even there were few extra but staff keep saying all are booked which they can issue to keep customer happy they must have few extras to help such people. Luckly my girl did it with support and we gave our to them.
Time is short must be minimum 1 30 hour
Overall good activity and experience was good.
