Our family enjoyed spending the afternoon at Big Air in Spartanburg today. My dad ordered pizzas and slushiest for the family. Connor and Malory were working and did an amazing job taking care of us!
Stay away from the food area. The menus signs have one price at the register they charge almost double. The manager said he can’t fix the sign. How hard is it to put tape over the old price and write the real price? When I got the $10 pretzel (they were out of fries) they gave us no plate just said napkins are by the trash can. The napkin dispenser was empty
Although this may be a great place to have fun for both adults and kids, it is very unorganized when it comes to having birthday parties. We booked a birthday party for my great/niece from 4 to 6 p.m. The place was very crowded on that Saturday with a lot of kids and several birthday parties. We were told that we would be able to set up the eating area at 5 PM after the kids were allowed to jump for an hour. There was no place to store, ice cream and all of our gifts and treats were left on the cart behind the front desk area. At 5 PM we returned to the check-in area and were told that we had to wait until 5:40 PM in order to set up the eating area. This information was not relayed to us about how this company does parties when we confirmed and misinformation, was given to us when we checked in. Each time we went back to the check-in area, we were given different information from the people we spoke to. There was no adult to speak to because there were only teenagers running the place. This is not an issue that the teenagers should’ve handled. However, there should’ve been an adult on staff available to answer any questions. I do not hold the teenagers who are running the front responsible for the miscommunication. However, I do hold management completely responsible for how this business is run. Information regarding how parties are handled should be included on your website as well as detailed during party confirmation phone calls. This will eliminate any confusion or miscommunication during check-in, or during the parties themselves. Additionally, having a person to sign an agreement that outlines the birthday party process would be even better.
I love Big Air Greenville and will definitely recommend it to anyone. I was really impressed with how great the employees were, especially Stephanie, she was a great hostess and super helpful. She was always there if I needed anything. Will definitely visit again!
This place is pretty awesome for kids! It's a great workout for the high-energy kiddos. They have all kinds of stuff for them to do.
I am only putting 1 start to leave this review. I’m very unhappy about my experience at Big Air. My children and I attended a party there today. All seemed well, until they wanted to get on a ride, the orange one in the arena that spins and goes upside down. I was told by the worker sitting at the booth in front of the obstacle course that the ride was broken, then just about 15 min later- my daughter approached me to inform me the ride was up and running. So I asked the girl about it being broken and her answer was “the ride hasn’t ever been broken- the guy you spoke with just didn’t want to operate it.” I didn’t understand why he didn’t want to run it when this is part of his job. But that went along with most of the people that worked today- I must say they were very rude and didn’t seem to like their job at all. We attempted to get a drink- bought the cup that comes with $1 refills & was refused the $1 refill. Attempted to ride the “animated rollercoaster” and the operator there was also rude, she sat there with her face rested in her hand and had nothing to say to anyone. For the money they charge us to bring our children here- you’d like they would allow us to use the items inside we pay for. Unfortunately this isn’t the case. I am very dissatisfied in this entire facility due to our experience today.
I purchased the 90 min party for my son's birthday. I must say for the amount paid and the quality of the place, I am extremely displeased and will NOT ever book here again! The majority of your staff are not only rude, but ridiculously lazy and unmotivated. My sister and I waited in line for over 20 minutes to ride the roller-coaster simulator as others just cut right in front of us and the girl running the ride allowed multiple times for the others to just sit and switch out their friend to ride again. This happened 4 times in a row. We finally spoke up and had our turn. She sat there with her head in her hand, staring at the floor. No concern for safety or orderly production. Afterwards, not only were we told that the ride in the back that spins was broken, we later saw it up and running with others on it. When my niece and her friend got on it, we confronted the one operating it, and said that we were told it was broken. And asked why our kids were allowed on it, if that were the case a few moments ago. The girl, then stated that the ride was nor has ever been broken down. That the guy earlier was probably just too lazy to do his job.
I'm sorry but at almost $400, I expect to have had a better experience! At the party room time, our hostess was nice, but she was not attentative, we served our own self after she brought the drink and pizza out. As well as cleaned our mess up. You guys need to hire better employees. I'm extremely displeased, and hope in the future for others sake....you follow and train your employees to be and do better!
Although much smaller than the Greenville location, this location in Spartanburg is just as high in quality. The stations are completely designed for children five and under and include a water station, a large train/car table, two baby/crawler enclosed mat areas, a tree themed play piece with stuffed animals, apple tree and windy/leaf activities, reading space, blocks (oversized and traditional), health/check-up area, and a small grocery store. An older child probably would not be entertained here, but definitely a good indoor spot for the littles.
Great outing for our family ! The activities are designed for children under 6 but my 9yo grandson had a great time! He especially liked the scavenger hunt!
Ziggy was our party host and she was excellent. I highly recommend any parent out there looking to have a party, but not deal with all the stress. It truly was a perfect experience.
It's super cute, but very small. It will definitely keep your toddler occupied in a safe air conditioned setting for about an hour. They have a water exhibit, train and car exhibit, grocery store, tree house with slide, and a doctor's office exhibit.
Absolutely stunning water feature in basement
Upstairs was a mess, no one was picking up after their kids and staff was just sitting around the front.

The train table is amazing as well!

Kiddos seemed to enjoy the cute treehouse!

Recommend another trash can and hand washing/sanitizing station downstairs - there was only 1 and the only trash is in the restroom.

Please police people to clean up or have staff putting stuff back so the kids can enjoy it.

We spent 15 mins putting the food back in the shop and still didn't finish.

Bathroom downstairs covered in water (expected) and had 2 stools for kids to use, changing pad and diaper genie.

Ok been here 2 hours and someone is finishing up the tidying we did when we first came in.

There's a soggy food specimen under the treehouse 🤢
the staff are really nice and helpful. The parents and teachers who are there are super friendly also. we always enjoy it here.
Adult $7
Child $7
Pretty neat, clean little place. What more kids need?
Came there during weekday, was one of 3 parents there. As an introvert loved the quiet place where it wasn't packed or random people in your face...my kiddoes enjoyed every station. Def would come again.
It got family bathroom and a nursing room too
What a great place! There was so much for littles to play with, and the museum was clean with friendly staff members. We were traveling through and popped in for a couple hours with our three toddlers. Definitely worth a visit for those with young families. Amazing train table, Also, notable to mention that the water table has built in seats for babies or little guys not quite tall enough to play. I had never seen this before! If we end up visiting Spartanburg again, we will surely be back here again!
Lovely little playspace for young kids. The highlights are a well stocked toy grocery store, water table, and big train table. On both floors, they also have a baby space that allows the little guys to crawl around and play and is super convenient for a parent of multiple kids. Admission is fair and works for repeat admission later in the day, so it's a great option to play for a few hours, go home for lunch or nap, and return in the afternoon. Space was very clean and well staffed.
