Shaun at the timezone Northbridge was so friendly and helpful. He was very patient while we chose prizes and we had a good chat about gaming and anime. Will definitely be back thanks to his welcoming attitude.

I go to every Timezone store in WA regularly to play The Wizard Of Oz. Northbridge store hands down has the best machine. the card dispensers are never jammed and have a good amount of Toto cards mixed in, coins always dispensing and full. if there are any problems the Staff are ready to help, you don’t need to awkwardly look around trying to find anyone. Team member, Shaun especially looks after the machine and ensures it’s always in peak working condition. He can always fix an issue or answer a question

The whole vibe of this store and the team shows that they have passion for the store and the machines. they always remember me when i come in and strike a conversation

Nice place, good pc and setup, but I came to play Fortnite and they advertised it but I could not play and not the best customer service. Would be improved if they had an administrator account for each computer.

The monitors were only 60hz, the computer kept crashing and the whole computer was Chinese. Don't ever go here

Smooth experience, with only a small mishap where the PC had shutdown by itself at the start, but restarted quite quickly. Overall, good price and place to play games.

Came here on my visit to Perth, the place is calm but could be better. During my experience, I found the gaming internet cafe to be a decent option for some quick gaming.

The computers are set up in Chinese, which could be an issue for those not familiar with using Windows in that language. It would be beneficial to have an option to switch to English or have English as the default language, considering that most people have basic English skills.

The cleanliness of the peripherals and the area could be improved, as I noticed some greasy keyboards. One solution could be to sanitize each area after closing or after each person finishes using the computer. However, since I brought my own peripherals, it didn't bother me personally.

The front desk provides easy access to drinks, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It's worth mentioning that some of the other reviews I came across regarding the internet cafe seemed to be overly exaggerated and unnecessarily rude. While everyone's experience may vary, it's important to take those reviews with a grain of salt and form your own opinion based on your personal visit.

Overall, if you're looking for a quick gaming session, this place would suffice.

Bad customer service poor staff broken computers overall the worst experience I had won't recommend not worth it

Touch down in Perth for a very short holiday and guess where we go on our first day.. Timezone.. must say that it is one of the tidiest timezone I’ve ever been.. the venue manager Jacqui is very friendly and welcoming and helpful with helping us with our favourite game.. friendly staff and has a mixed of good variety of machine over here for a small venue.. thanks again..

I like coming to timezone for the rhythm games, and this one has all the ones im interested in like pump it up and DDR, taiko and mai mai, though one of the dance games were temporarily unplayable. cool prize section too. the lady at the counter was very friendly in explaining how the app worked, if you connect your card to the app, even if you lose your card you don't lose your funds.

edit: I ended up getting a free game from the manager because I posted this review which is much appreciated :D 2nd time was a much better experience and I was able to try all the rhythm games since I came on a Tuesday during the day and it wasn't very busy.

song selection on the DDR and maimai machines was awesome, so many to choose from!! love that they seem to be updated fairly regularly. I don't think the pump it up machine has been updated in a long time though and there aren't very many songs, it would be cool if it was updated like the others!

also very happy with the adorable rainbow hello kitty I was able to win with tickets! I think Northbridge has my favourite selection of prizes compared to Innaloo and Fremantle timezone (cutest plushies!)

having said that I think Fremantle timezone has better ticket winning potential, the hammer game top prize is only 500 tickets whereas Freo's same hammer game's top prize was 1000 tickets. Freo and Innaloo also have a power roll machine which is my favourite way to earn tickets, I was sad to see Northbridge doesn't have one. I still enjoyed the ticket roll claw machines here but the tickets earned per cost isn't quite as good as the other timezones I've tried. I think better ticket winning machine deals at Northbridge would make this place perfect!

edit: my main gaming interest lately is maimai, as a regular player I appreciate a machine that functions well. this venue's maimai machines aren't very well maintained and the buttons are sticky which greatly affects accuracy of input which is annoying :'( I will be mostly going to iPlay at Carousel from now on for maimai.

Nice stuff. Everything is pretty clean and cozy. The equipment set up is good. All the softwares are up to date. Cute cat. :) Recommended.

Honestly expected it to be cleaner...
The desk was covered in dust, crumbs, and rubbish.
The monitor had finger prints and smudges.
The mouse pad was actually disgusting, felt real gross touching it.
The whole store just needed to be cleaned.
I don't think it would be very hard to do basic daily cleaning... especially when the staff are just on their phones behind the counter the entire 3 hours I was there.
The computer did the job, but not very well. Had to lower my graphics settings for the game, because the computer just couldn't handle it. Headphones were extremely uncomfortable and low quality.
I didn't have any problem with the customer service though. Really nice people.
Don't normally visit these cafes as I've got my own CLEAN set up at home, but I've been without internet for the past 3 weeks so I desperately wanted to play some games.
Conclusion, they could honestly do better.
