Went in the beginning of April. Pace of play and quality of course was ok. Our cart died on hole #12. Kind of frustrating so we called the clubhouse and they made it right by giving us a rain check for 9 holes. Fast forward to last weekend- we’re literally golfing on a rain check due to a dead cart and on hole #15 our cart dies. I call the clubhouse and they inform me that “someone will come save you once they’re done rescuing another dead cart.” 30 minutes later someone shows up with a new cart. After the round we went inside to get a 9 hole rain check for the inconvenience and were told “nothing we can do for you. I already have you a rain check for this round. If I gave everyone rain checks I’d be handing out 100 rain checks a day.” I asked how many carts die per day they said around 5-10. Just stay away there’s plenty of better courses around.

Nice course in very good condition. Membership has been making great updates to the clubhouse and pool area. It is very enjoyable for my entire family to play yet provides some challenges. The greens rolled very true and pure. The food and service were excellent.
Chef Jamils ego palace if you want to work here watch out the Chef likes to yell and scream at his help and then tells you that you deserve it
I had my bridal shower here back in October and it was beautiful. The view of the lake is stunning. Our event coordinator Maddy was absolutely amazing and so accommodating!
This is one of my favorite golf venues. Several years ago I heard the late Frank Beckman raving about Beacon Hill, and I decided to give it a go. I've played it with friends and golf leagues and outings, and love the neverending challenge every time. It beats me more than I beat it. I highly recommend this course to the true lovers of the game. You should enjoy the double dogleg par 5 that is #4.
I played this golf course on a Sunday in September. The course is located well off the beaten track in the middle of a newer subdivision. The tee boxes were in good shape, but some were sloped. The fairways were also in good condition . The greens were in good condition and fast. The only drawback I could see was that the rough was US Open long, and you could lose a holf ball if you were a few yards from the fairway.

The holes were fairly long, with a lot of long forced carries. I do not recommend this course for women or short drivers. Bring your long clubs.

Overall, the course is a good value . Bring your A game and expect all aspects of your game to be used. This course is a good test of golf.

$22 is absolutely ridiculous when you see how bad the course looks. there are so many better courses in the area at or maybe $2-3 more than this place. avoid at all costs
Staff is very nice.

Greens need lots of help

Carts are nice

Fallen trees need to be removed

Driving range mats and balls need to be replaced

Got to come here as a member guest. It makes you understand why people pay for this kind of experience. Helpful, kind, easy to deal with. These people here work hard, and deserve kudos.
As mother of the groom I could not have been happier! Even with a small glitch of a gas leak and a short evacuation waiting for Consumers to make sure everything was ok, the staff was amazing! Maddy was phenomenal making sure everything went as it was supposed to. Thank you for making the day everything the kids were dreaming of!
Decent course if your learning, but unfortunately at $24 a person, with 2 people golfing and 12 holes, 2.5 hours is apparently too long to be on the course. Me and my boyfriend were on #8 of 12 and he’s teaching me to golf, what I assume to be the owner drives over looking for a group of people that have doubled the course and then proceeds to tell us that we’ve been here to long and getting people to finish their games quick is what makes him money. Let me also mention when we paid we told him I was learning how to play, and had no idea what I was doing. Disappointed because it started off fun and he was nice, but being asked to leave is just kind of rude when we were never told of a time limit and he knew our situation.
Was there for brunch, very organized, clean and very welcoming. Also a great spread of food during brunch!
It's quite a shame honestly to see a course in such disrepair. It's so far gone I dont think it can be saved. Looks like it may have had potential at one point in its life but now....smh. Go 10 minutes down the road and play White Lake Oaks For 6 more bucks. Might be okay for someone who has never golfed before and is having a little anxiety about it but they'll have to learn how to putt somewhere else due to the greens being completely torched. Dont bring any decent equipment here or it's going to get ruined. I dont like leaving bad reviews but if they dont fix the bridges over the water soon someone is going to get hurt. It's a bummer but it'll probably be a subdivision soon.
As a party attendant in the fireplace room-we had an incredible time. The room was perfectly cozy and comfortable. The staff are very nice and very thorough!
Unfortunately, my experience at Union Lake Golf Course was not very pleasant. The course was not well-maintained, with overgrown rough and poorly tended greens. This made for a frustrating round of golf that was far from enjoyable. Additionally, the golf carts were in poor condition, with many of them having mechanical issues and uncomfortable seats. The staff was not very helpful or accommodating, which only added to the overall disappointment of the experience. While the layout of the course was interesting, the poor conditions and lack of attention to detail detracted greatly from the overall experience. I would not recommend Union Lake Golf Course until significant improvements are made in the maintenance and upkeep of the course, as well as the quality of the golf carts. But if your a beginner it’s not too bad
Once stellar course needs a refresh. Greens are in great shape but tee boxes, cart paths and vegetation overgrowth detract from the experience. #10 tee box is crazy and should be elevated so you're not looking at a giant brick wall. Staff is super nice. Club house is excellent. Lots of potential here.
I used to play this course 10 years back. It wasn't the nicest, but was great for practice.

Now, I'm really sad to see the disrepair.

I'd say about 1-2 greens were actually playable. The rest are so cracked and brown you aren't even going to want to putt. Hard dirt. They even had to just give up on some and abandon the original green entirely, making holes even shorter. Downed trees just sitting for God knows how long, even blocking cart paths in some places.

The carts we received for 24 bucks were laughable and we had to hold our bags so they didn't fall out when driving. One of our carts died halfway through our round.

So much potential just gone down the drain. Used to be half decent and now I'm never coming back. So disappointed.
Cash only for everything. Not expensive but expect a different experience. People nice, course in terrible shape but try it once as it’s a unique experience. Not everything in life is great. This is one of those not great but it definitely is different.
Very nice course, so worth the cost. And when group golfer offers show up makes it a complete no brainer! Friendly staff, decent food and course is well maintained. Only things I would like to see improve, is having a more consistent beverage cart on the course and a range. They've since done away with their water range, would be nice to loosen up prior to the round. One nit-pick is to rebuild those bridges across the water path on #7 and #17. They're very beat up and look unstable...I'd hate to be the one who experiences a fall through or something.

The owner is a real nice guy. BUT I really wish he'd sell the Golf Course. This place is a joke, Greens are in horrible shape. Branch's everywhere under the trees. The range has like 30 year old golf balls. 70% of the carts are never working. This place has so much potential. I wish the owner would sell or put some serious money in this place. Update the range, update the course, hire a true greens keeper. This place could be a serious gold mine if it was fixed up and ran correctly. A nice 9 hole with a range. They could make millions on the range alone.
First time here with a member for a Sunday night buffet. The service and all the food was fantastic, especially the soups and chili. pasta had really good marinara sauce. Don't forget to have a chocolate chip cookie we loved them. Can't wait for another invite.
Very pretty golf course! Generous fairways, some blind shots so pay attention where your ball goes!
Had company dinner here food as amazing
Kevin, the banquet manager, is so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was phenomenal, the extra lighting Kevin put up for us was beautiful, the facility was clean and very aesthetically pleasing, and the staff were courteous and professional. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. With Kevin's help, everything was perfect.
