Great place to have lunch and watch the kids play rugby on a Sunday. The food was nice, my children really enjoyed the pulled pork tacos. Parking was tricky, but if you arrive as a team is leaving, you can get lucky.

Good course, it can get bunched up so be smart with your start time. There's a few challenging holes and some very easy ones, so it's probably not challenging enough for some but great for intermediate players.

Played the nine hole course for more than 15 years at dawn Saturdays then transitioned to a 7 Day member
Our group plays most Wednesday and Friday comps now
It’s an amazingly well maintained course, considering the intensity of use, the green keepers are brilliant.
Nice simple 9 hole course kept in good nick
Very disappointed with our recent experience here. We were guests of my elderly parents who have been members for more than 40 years. They asked us for dinner. We have an 18 month old. Rules apparently are he’s not allowed at the club as a guest other than in the gym! He can’t walk yet so no use for the gym. There was hardly anyone there but my wife and child were evicted. And this from a club with endless entitlements and concessions. Tax. Land. Privelege. But not if you have a child who needs to eat dinner.
Stunning historic golf club.
I felt very honoured to play in a Services event.
The fairways were in decent condition for a public course, but the greens were horribly inconsistent and hard to read. I also wasn't a fan of the club's desire to group people together at tee off time and not allow others to jump ahead as the game progressed.
Amazing place...absolutely gorgeous. Staff extremely good and helpful. Great atmosphere. Take time to peruse art there
First time playing there (short course). Was great. Facilities are amazing, and food/drink at reasonable prices. Recommend
I have no idea about the Royal Sydney Golf Club since I've never been there. Google has messed up and besides I don't believe I meet the membership criteria.

Nice 9 hole golf course that is opened to visitors as well.
Very relaxing view of the course. Staff were very professional. Menu looked enticing and the presentation was first rate but seemed lacking in flavour.
10/10 for public golf courses in Sydney. There aren’t many private courses that will be as well kept as this either.
First time I've played here. The course was in top condition even after the recent Sydney rains. Greens were fast and the fairways were like carpet. Lots of bunkers but the sand is so good that they're a joy to hit out of. The course design is also very challenging with bunkers in play regularly and pins tucked in tough positions. You don't tend to lose many balls around here though.
Great little course. Not too challenging and very forgiving. Greens were in great condition. I was very impressed for a public course!
Review here is irrelevant: members and guests only. One of Sydney's most famous golf courses and oldest clubs, membership is via invitation, references, etc with a multi-year waiting list after that process. Sometime home of the Australian Open.
