Course is in great shape. You won't find a better value anywhere.
Great little 9 hole coursecourse. Always in good shape, 2 par 4's, par 3's are challenging and it's very affordable. Covered driving range also. One of my favorites
They were great hosts to our large group scramble, the course was very well maintained, and pricing was fair.
Fun course, took great care of a large bachelor party group. 12 rented clubs and provided balls! Course in good condition and handled the check in process extremely smooth.
I always enjoy playing at fairgrounds. It’s a great little course. The staff is always friendly. The last time I played, the man at the desk offered me a senior discount without me even asking. I’m 65 and appreciate that a lot. Great service!
I love this place. Nice Friendly Staff, no stress, covered driving range, short course for great practice with some interesting hazard features. Nice little golf shop with excellent election of shoes shirts jackets hats and a concession. Excellant pricing on golf and merchandise.
We came here for an event. It seems like it would be a great place to golf as well as the greens are very well cared for and beautiful. The event space was a good size and very welcoming. There is plenty of parking
A really nice golf course southeast of central Santa Rosa. The greens right now are in excellent shape. Great staff. And excellent pricing!
Solid course, annoying trees if you can’t hit straight. Very long but beautiful course to play solid price
Lovely local course. Straightforward layout. Main challenges are length and green side bunkers. Course is pretty flat and open. Greens are medium municipal speed. Not particularly challenging otherwise. Course is well maintained. Staff are friendly. Restaurant is decent. Great value. The Sugarloaf course is also fun and challenging despite being short. Great course to practice on.
I was dog sitting in the afternoon walk Kirby pulled me that way. Kirby enjoy being on golf course
Great short course. The people in the pro shop are friendly and helpful and the facilities cater to the beginner and also to the low handicap players. My only criticism would be for more trees, shade is at a minimum.
Expensive for conditions of the course, 77 dollars with cart, the greens were decent but overall bad bunkers that were muddy with water in them , over watered around the greens, , anywhere just off the fairway is not good with hard pan and bare spots and holes all over with weeds. This place looks like a goat track compared to the Foxtail North course down in Rohnert Park.
I went with my mom and my grandfather to this establishment and it was ‘meh’ for the most part. Service was alright but the wait wasn’t the best and the food was questionable. Their pickles look so rough that they look like they fought in Vietnam and are oddly dry and cut as if they were reused. I also did find someone’s eyebrow hair in my food as well which wasn’t all that fun to find. The potato fries are good though.
Place is in tip top shape....really playing well ...greens rolling Tru and as always a little bit of a devil to read but keeps you on your toes ...pace of play was great....just go play really good value and way more fun then foxtail....still s great place to play and in amazing shape go for it
It's a nice 9 hole golf course consisting of seven par three holes and two par four holes. This is great to practice or play with friends. It's primarily a walking course that's inside of a horse racing track.
Played the Sugarloaf course this morning... A shorter par 3 and 4 format. The course was in great shape. We walked and completed 18 holes in 3 hours with slight waits on a couple of holes. Great way to break in my new set of clubs.
Beautiful course and friendly staff. It was a little chilly when we were there but nothing that a couple beverages couldn't fix. 😂
The setting alone makes this course a must-play: sitting in the middle of the fairgrounds race track. First tee time of the day at 6:30, too dark to start, so Bruce in the Pro Shop hooked up a bucket of balls.

Course is pretty much straight line from tees to holes, greens play true. A couple in less than perfect shape, but still great condition. Even with morning frost melting off, easy walking. Water features and flex tee locations make for a nice backdrop and varying playing options. Will definitely return soon.
The course is in Salinas and I enjoyed the well maintained course with it's mature tree lined fairway. The greens were on the speedy side with both big & around the cups subtle breaks. Pro shop staff were helpful & friendly. There is a good driving range with decent mats. The only downside is that the cafe-bar is shutdown so bring ur own food and drinks (they do sell bottled water in the pro shop)
This is a pretty unique municipal course. It's situated inside of a horse racing track. I did not play the course instead I only hit balls on the range but the course appeared to be in good condition and everything was pretty affordable. My course is nine holes, two of which are par fours. The practice putting greens were very fast.
This is a great short course. Nothing too challenging but there is some water and some sand. This course is very well kept.

They have a nice little pro shop with the basics. A great driving range with some covered stalls and some open. They also have a nice practice putting green and chipping area.

Highly recommend.

Nice layout in east Santa Rosa amidst tall Redwoods especially on the back nine. A little on the soft side after a brief rain but carts were allowed 90 degrees. The $2 charge for capital improvement's was a little on the CS side which reminds me of a resort fee which should be included in the greens fee.
I had a pleasant experience here. I thought they were well organized and professional. The putting green and driving range are directly across from each other, which is convenient. Course has some challenging holes. I would definitely check this place out.
