One of the best local golf sims run by wonderful people. Nice bar with great food and drink selection. Lots of bays that comfortably fit 4 golfers.
Faraway greens is by far one of the best golf simulator! The golf is great, the staff makes the experience and the food is delicious! The tees are beautifully arranged. Always a great time!
Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great place.
If you're looking for a fun night out with friends to swing the clubs and have a 'pop' all winter long, you've found it!
Try the Butter Chicken Flatbread... you won't be disappointed.
Great place to play all winter long.
Layout and atmosphere is better than any other sim I've been too, hands down. I've been going here regularly since they opened 8 years ago, not sure what took me so long to leave the review!

Fun course ! Tough challenge if you try walking it :) Good food, service, and overall course. Some of the view are exceptional in that it’s in the escarpment… you can’t help but stop to take it in , be grateful and appreciate.
It is a nice place for golf in late fall. The colorful scenery is amazing. The only happy challenge is that it is hard to search the golf ball from the golden leaves, you must bring more with you.
Looking for a place to host your next team event? Why not check out FarAway Greens? Whether you are interested in playing some of the best courses in golf, or just want to gather with friends or family, it is also a great location for team building, corporate or family events. The open facility and top of the line simulators provide more than just golf course entertainment. We recently hosted our year-end soccer team event and the teenagers and adults alike had a blast. Get creative, personalize your group gathering and let the amazing team at FarAway Greens take care of you! You won't be disappointed!
Very nice course. Well maintained with awesome views.. wish they had a beverage cart and price was a bit on high side... wonderful little course. Will be back next season
Really solid track. My friends and I played the old course and it’s worth the money. There’s a few blind shots which can be a bit dangerous and also confusing as to where you’re aiming. As well, seems like a course where you almost have to take a golf cart (I prefer to walk). Great range facility! Would go back again!

Nice course, beautiful in the fall. Very rude marshal who were not able to speed up the slow group ahead but rushed us to skip a hole unreasonably. He even didn’t not use proper etiquette language with lady golfer when kept saying “ pick up the ball” 3 times without a single “please”. My 95 dollars charged golf game was totally ruined.

Great course with reasonable price. Marshall are friendly
Over priced, under maintained. I paid $103 with a cart on a Friday and by hole 3 I couldn’t believe what they charge. Some of the worst tee boxes I’ve ever played, now I know it’s almost October but if you’re going to stop taking care of your tee boxes then stop charging full price. Absolute rip off.

As for the course definitely fun and challenging. Hole 16 is the most ignorant hole I’ve ever seen on a golf course !

Would I return ? Maybe. Worth the money ? No. Muni courses are better maintained.

My regular golf buddies and I started playing this course last year. Absolutely love it. The views are absolutely spectacular. Bought the 10 pack which is great value for your money. I tend to walk, so cart cost issue that I see raised here and at other courses is not concern to me.

If you love to bomb your drives then this is the course for you, Several holes where you can let it fly and use elevation to your advantage.

The uphill holes are challenging but tend to be shorter than average so low scores are available.

Greens are tricky due to the terrain, but fair.

The staff is first rate. The food is excellent and all the servers are top notch. Great place to hang out on a summer's day.

Definitely think this course is underrated-will keep coming back.

Keep up the great work.
Very nice club, pretty challenging course for beginners. Nice clubhouse.
It is a very good place, very few ponds but up and down hill way. It is challenge as lots of greens are in higher platform which is hard to manage, but, you will feel fun and wants to be back again.
Enjoyable round of golf. Played at 3:45 on the Old Course and the pace of play was good so we were able to finish our round. Course conditions were very good and the greens rolled true. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Good experience here as usual.
Went here for a company golf to play 18 holes. Service was ok at first. They were accommodating and warm. They even drove me to the green to be with my team. But as we played the game, staff were a bit pushy, saying we should hurry as we were holding off others. Later on they send someone to tell us that most of our team mates are already in the club house. And we should bring our carts back as they need to clean it. Probably, they want to protect their members. But I wouldn't recommend this place if you're a beginner and wanted to enjoy the sport. The burgers were bland, and the service was slow.

I had my entire wedding planned here and then suddenly they change ownerships out of the blue, making us scramble to find a new place. After all that planning they would not honour and host our wedding and then a few months after my wedding , have the audacity to then host weddings again after telling us they don’t host weddings anymore ? That’s unkind! I was a pretty relaxed person until then. At least the caterers were very kind. We picked a better place anyway. Never going golfing here and we are golfers.
This is one of the most beautiful golf club. You will be immersed in the amazing nature of Mount. Nemo, the ponds, the trees, the lotus flowers…… it is a wonderful experience here. I would list it in my favorite golf courses.

Ok this course is not that bad! Some reviews are horrible. Greens were rough but the rest of the course in good shape. I've golfed at better places for the price but it was a nice, relaxing experience. The people were lovely!

Terrible golf course, even the $30 to get in doesn’t seem worth the price. They wouldn’t let my group out in a cart despite us driving to the course ourselves. Only good thing about the course was the nice crab apple tree. The course was ugly and not kept very nicely and the clubhouse was very sketchy and unkept.

This ⛳ golf course was very run down and not well maintained. It is a great course for beginners I suppose, as it is not very challenging. The greens were full of weeds, this was the most unkept golf course I have ever seen! Power carts were in good working order, however cart paths were almost none existent. There is no liquor license at this course, so be prepared for that! 😉

Nice enough course, always a poor experience with staff though. One guy in particular - drives around in a cart and treats the golfers, his customer base, like the enemy. Always hawking golfers to see if they have their own drinks - was proud of the fact he kicked off 110 people for a lightning storm that never happened. If you’re going to charge $80 to walk twilight, you should let people play the course in peace. Tried kicking us off today to go home early, management is a joke.

Beautiful course with amazing views. Expensive AF for twilight 9+ holes and shared cart. If your brand new to the course don’t be expecting directional signage on the back 9, especially on 12 and 18, where the carts paths split. The course map didn’t help. Didn’t stay for dinner but have been told the food is decent.

Great track for beginners. Bring bug spray. Management was super friendly, course a little under maintained but for what you pay for, can’t beat it
Great course, challenging and fun, well kept and nice staff, beautiful views of the escarpment. The only thing they need is water jugs on the course. It simply gets too hot in the summers for any course, public or private to not have accessible drinking water every few holes. Otherwise had a fantastic time!
Just north of Burlington on the escarpment on #1 Side Road ...I found " Hidden Lakes" ...now to be called "Found Hidden Lakes". This course features an emaculate club house, pro shop outdoor restaurant ...with good food, a driving range and a practice putting green. Their are 36 holes, a new course and and an old course. The holes were generally long the shortest par 3 beeing 144 off the blues. I liked the layout, quite challenging, many dog legs. The fairway was low and the ground was hard so you really had to hit down on it !. The wind seemed to attack us on many of the holes and you have to club up most of the times. The greens had many undulations and were hard and fast...could not attack and get that ball to stop. Here are some of the highlights...will definitley return to play old course and finally find that lake. Also, you have to visit the Half Way House...great customer service there :)
Beautifully cared course. Had a fantastic day today. Friendly staff and good atmosphere overall.
Beautiful scenery with a well kept course! My friends and I’s favourite course by far! Excellent employees and amazing food. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a good day on the course!

Great bang for your buck. Forgiving course with not many hazards, perfect for beginners or a quick round to tune up. Would be 5 stars, but the greens are very rough and hardly playable at times.

Great golf course located in Burlington with a layout that treats golfers with beautiful views of the escarpment. The course is always in good condition, the pro shop well stocked, and friendly staff. Food in the pub is tasty and reasonably priced.
Highly recommend Lowville!

Excellent course to up your game or for beginners. They allow single play which is my reason for giving 5 stars. Course is a bit narrow however great for practice. Chill vibes and no pressure :)

Not sure how some people are giving a 5 star reviews or if they were at a different course than us lol
I’m giving 2 stars only because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The state of facilities and course were horrible for the prices they charge, the golf carts were run down and one didn’t even work at all. The putting surfaces were deteriorated and badly maintained as well. I would only pay half the price to golf there but that’s it.
Awesome golf course. Greens kinda slow but pristine condition. Servers are great, cart personel are friendly and gorgeous. Great challenge! Try walking this course with a bag. Serious test. Definately a must play. Not expensive.
FarAway Greens is a top notch facility. The owners take very good care of the facility and are very kind to it's patrons. I used Faraway quite extensively in the fall/winter season to help my golf game. I can happily say I'm playing my best golf in a long time currently.

Highly recommend booking a room, having a drink or two from the bar and ordering some awesome food and making a night out of it. Bring a friend or several, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the amazing service and for keeping the facility clean and up to date with all health protocols in place.

This course is a great challenge as far as golf courses go. Also a great way to lose a pound or two if you walk it. Not recommended for the weak of heart. Great views of escarpment country. Not a flat lie to be found. Fairways won't reward great drives, and greens in reg aren't a guarantee of a par. It'll keep you guessing for every lie. Fast greens.
This indoor golf facility is fantastic! Convenient location, great atmosphere and staff. Nice bar with good finger food menu and service. Get your off season golf fix for a decent price in a comfortable place.

This course is great! Played a foursome here and had a blast. The course was surprisingly challenging and the greens were well maintained. Some of the greens were a bit dry but nothing out of the ordinary. Prices were also reasonable, and staff was extremely friendly.
When I first started going to FarAway back 5+ years ago, they were one of only 2 sims in town. Back then they were the best. Now there seems to be almost as many sims in town as there are devil’s lettuce shops. Even with all this competition, they still top my list.

The sim is responsive and accurate, they have a ton of great courses with new ones every year, the bays are clean & spacious and private, they serve great food and have local beers on tap behind the pub-style bar. You can even get fit for clubs and buy from their exclusive pro fitter at competitive prices.

Best part though is the staff. You won’t meet nicer or more helpful folks - especially Todd.
